! Tanaka wonders if it was even necessary considering the heavy impact of Luffy VS Usopp and comments on what a wonderful character is. Oda says he's the closest to a human in the series with everyone else being super human. He feels that as Usopp slowly gets stronger, his readers can feel the same way and get stronger too. Tanaka loves how when Luffy and team go off leaving Nami and Usopp behind then they both say, "Counting on you ;" Oda says there are certain things he wants to keep the same because it will just upset the balance. No matter who joins, he always wants Usopp to be the weakest, he always wants Chopper to believe Usopp's lies. There are just some weaknesses he wants them to carry.
To be fair, all of them must still be holding tricks up their sleeve as they really havent been up against it since the TS. atm it's more a case of east blueing their way through. So when their backs are against the walls we can gauge their strength better. But the great thing about one piece is that one person's easiest opponent is someone else's worst nightmare due to such a variety of styles and DF, etc.
One thing im worried about is there only being 3 haki users in SH crew. I imagine Kinemon having haki and i can see him travelling with SH to wano whenever they reach it so they're ok untill then.

You're free to believe what you want, but you have to keep in mind that your beliefs go directly against Oda's.

Oda might change his mind about a lot of things, but Usopp being the weakest crewmember doesn't seem to be one of them due to all those reasons he provided.

Nami is agile, fast and smart enough to avoid being hit that hard in the first place. Once she got her hands on the Climatact she became significantly more self sufficient in a fight than Usopp.

I really didn't care for this at all. After 2 arcs (especially Thriller Bark) where Luffy really impresses us, he gets tired out after a pacifista? I'm not expecting him to beat Sentoumaru or weaken Kuma, but Oda made Luffy seem like a chump. To add insult to injury, crippled Zoro basically lasts as long and fights as hard as Luffy did for that stretch of chapters. Maybe the rest of the crew, Sanji included, were also still exhausted from Thriller Bark but it clearly stated that Luffy was 100%
Its hard to believe that after he beats Lucci and then Moria after the Nightmare fatigue, he's basically spent after using a few moves on a Pacifista later on in the series. Yes, the emphasis is that Luffy is supposed to be scarred and given motivation to get stronger but still…he got totally nerfed for a few chapters. No harm done but these sorts of things really stick out to me

? This plot is clearly going to end with Violet trying to stab him. She's going to see him gawk over the next attractive woman to walk past, and think he's betraying her.
