They got a really bad Buggy. He has a lot of paint issues, a lot more than mine.

Buggy Figuarts Zero gallery.
Looks like a China kid cosplaying as buggy. No offence to anyone or anything really, but that was just my first impression when I saw the picture.

I want to buy some WCFs from YAJ, and I know I need proxy for that, so I wanted to know if the proxy mentioned at shops thread (the proxy that sensui set up in Japan) is still available. It's very important to me so please, if someone knows I Will be glad if he'll help me.
Thank you so much.

I think he's available , you should email the proxy first and let him know what you need.

Thank you so much for answering my question. It was very important for me to know if he's still available.

He's available, two weeks ago I ordered him some One Piece coasters from Yahoo Auctions. Very good service.
-
Is it possible to look at the completed auctions on Yahoo Japan like you can do on Ebay? I am kind of interested to see some of the ending prices for comparisons to know if I should try to get a proxy to ship some items. I am using the Bing page translator so maybe it is listed somewhere but the translation is off so any info would be appreciated.
-
Haha, no idea actually. I'm assuming you only collect POP's so the most obvious answer would probably be Luffy, the brothers and Dereshi Robin?
You have the CB Mild POP's right. I also want SDX Ace and Monster Chopper.

To say the truth, I don't know.

Hm nope I only have these 3. Had initially want to get all of the mild POPs but decided against it eventually cos of the price that they're going for now. Won't be getting anymore from that line besides Sabo.

I really want that Derishishi POP CB Nico Robin but it's impossible to find one less than 20,000 JPY. Or is there any?

Someone got one from Elisabeth not too long ago. But anyway she was the first ever figure I got in my entire collection. Back in dec 2009. So I got her at the retail price.

btw guys. anyone got problem with pop vista? i got big problem. mine is international version. i opened mine today. not happy with the quality and paintwork. 1 of the worst i had seen so far in pop series. the worst part is…..his mustache cracked (before i open)!!!!!!! i am trying to change with my supplier now.
!
!
!
! -
the crack and the hat looks really bad… I'm sorry for you and hope you get a substitute.
-
This kind of defects are normal for mass produced products, i don't think one can have refund for this kind of things. I never had.
I have experience in many of these (myth, POP, GLM, DX Ace, ecc…), one has to hope to be lucky to find one that has no defects.
If they are international versions or not doesn't mean because they are all manifactured in the same buildings, it changes only the distribution (in saint cloth myth you can see if it is japan ver. or international ver. in the back of the shoulders of bodies of characters: if they have serial number is jap, if not is western version). -

i am talking to the supplier..and she is checking with the distribution. it seems like her international vistas on hand..have cracked moustaces too. hmmm. is it a global thing? bros with international vista..does yours have cracked moustace? she did comment that she checked her japan version..she can confirm that the moustace is good and paintwork is good too. hmm…

-
Aside from the stache and hat it just looks like regular sloppy paintjob. Luck of the draw I guess.

I have same problem with my POP marco, a few paint chips on the back of his jacket and sleeves, but rather than complain to my retailer I just took it on the chin. These sorts of things are inevitable and all you can do it hope for the best. Most retailres even have disclaimers on their websites now advising that as they are hand painted, defects may occur.
Although in your case ashcrow that mustache crack may pass as shipping damage. It's worth a try I suppose.

@ashcrow: my POP Sogeking (first release, years ago) arrived with Kabuto broken in two parts: from the box it seemed alright, i fixed with glue and now seems new. The fork of my Luffy child, broken too: here it was impossible put the glue because too tiny, i put some scotch for not losing one of 2 parts but when i expose it, i do without fork. My Super DX Ace can't stand on his feet, it falls everytime. I have many saint cloth myth with scratches on cloth (metal, it can't be repainted) and some of them i never opened the box and it can be seen from the box.
Maybe for mustaches broken you can have the change, as maybe i could have for Kabuto's Sogeking, but i bought it from hlj and i don't think they would have heard me.
My Sogeking was japanese version and chibi Luffy too, and so many others POP (and other stuff) that they have defects. Really don't bother you about the versions, it is the same thing. -

Seems like the postman is a bit too rough with the package with u vista asia ver. batch/case.
But with the paint job, its pretty much standard. I got most my jap ver. POP pretty much like yours.
Dots here and there, black spot on face, neck, etc.But i know u been quite lucky with u pop. Oh well, all the luck will come to an end XD.
Hope they exchange your vista. That broken moustace is not acceptable.
-
I just noticed (anyone else here should already have noticed by now XDD) that Nami is missing in the Half Age character sets… Who did that decision @Bandai??? XDDD How dumb is that? Will there be another Box with 8 Namis? XD

ok~ will try. i got some smudges here and there for some of my pops too…not obvious..so i didnt really complain much. maybe...thats the diff between japan & international version. i used to think both are the same...oh well......i dunno..
do check your vista and report if you have a broken moustace too... :) hope u get a good 1.

I'm not too confident HLJ would do that, only if they have single pieces to send, but i never heard about POP (for myth they did that).
-
Happened to me twice, 1 with square product.
I told hlj about it, and They contac Square.
Squre send the replacement to HLJ. And Hlj send it to me.
They send a whole new figure to me. And i can keep the broken figure. The 2nd one happened to megahouse product,
But they(megahouse) ignore the request for a replacement.
So yeah, i just have to glue it myself. T_TOh well, but u should give it a try.
Maybe i just got unlucky that time. -
want to taste it, so ordered))
and received fruit candy with devil fruits design today) pretty cool thing)))
but this hot weather. aaaa. they melted because of this((
good bonus - gum with Nami)))!

mmmmm more food. I still need to eat the Crisps crease sent me.
-
Have any of you experienced this? My package from Mandarake, shipped via SAL Registered.
POP Neo DX Garp!
The package was so badly damaged that I was so afraid to open it
Viola, nightmare came true…
It's a miracle the figure itself was fine.
Severely damaged box
I e-mailed Mandarake for replacement, and they asked me to file a complaint to local post office for SAL Registered complaint since the damage was identified happened during shipping.
But since the value of package was marked down significantly, I wonder if I might get a decent compensation.
Anyone have the same problem and how did you solve it?
My intention is to return the figure with its box and have Mandarake to replace a new one for me. Any good chance they might do it? -

hope they not all melt on the way…. -
Wow Benham that is terrible! If I simply wanted to collect the figure in box I would be devistated, I'm glad the figure is okay, must have been damaged while it was on the road but still, what was the postman doing?

My intention is to return the figure with its box and have Mandarake to replace a new one for me. Any good chance they might do it?Mandarake has to file a claim for damage with Japan Post since it was shipped from Japan. Since Mandarake is a business it's easy for them to state the value of the item. You have to send these photos to Mandarake and they have to attach them to the claim. It doesn't matter that the value was marked down since the post office doesn't have this information (they don't get a copy of the customs declaration, that only comes with EMS).
The only problem you will have is that registered SAL only has insurance up to ¥6000. I don't think you can get Mandarake to replace it since it's 2nd hand goods. It's not really their fault either and Japan Post would never do this to a package. It's happened after it left Japan.
The money would go to Mandarake and then they would have to refund it to you. It takes a long time to get any money back but the good thing is, they usually let you keep the figure.
Ask your local post office what your options are too.
I can't believe they actually had the guts to deliver it in that state.

POP Neo DX Garpholy crap. glad that your grap survived. but you need a good box. hope things goes well for your claim… :)
-
Yeah it's really terrible. Never had this before. The carton for this batch of shipment is really thin so could be easily damaged. It's just like someone stepped on it. And thanks crease for the explanation. Mandarake also said that since that package had left japan, I need to file a complaint at my local post office. I'd follow the procedure and try to get the refund. Bought this one at 7000 JPY before shipping cost so if they could refund to 6000 JPY and let me keep the figure I would be more than happy.

holy crap. glad that your grap survived. but you need a good box. hope things goes well for your claim… :)
Thanks Ben. This incident made me think twice to use SAL shipping for POP. I think I'd better choose EMS for expensive items or just buy POP from my local sellers :)

me, too. But only if the set does not cost more than 2 usual WCFs. We will see timeskip Luffy anyway and I already have Roger from Vol.0…

Oh man, that really is a shame. Those boxes are awesome!
-
Oh well, but u should give it a try.
Maybe i just got unlucky that time. From Hlj i had refunds for parcels lost or for extra custom fees caused by their wrong declaration. Maybe they do something if ashcrow insists with pictures and proofs, that kind of scratch can't be made by a person.
@Benham: i live in a village over the mountains, so it often happened to have packs ruined (with EMS too, i have to say that those of EMS are the worst) but not so badly. You have to ask a refund or substitution for sure.
