Only option was to cancel it and refund my money.

According to one review I read, custom stages can't be shared. Wagomu's dream is officially dead (unless sharing is patched in later).
Considering online play isn't turned on, things like stage sharing might not be accessible yet. It would be absolutely retarded not to be able to.

Goddamn it, I knew this would happen. Had to be one of my mains.
I've decided I'm going in every night after work for the rest of the week until Friday and when they officially have their shipment (They didn't when I was there) I'll make sure the one they promised would get put aside for me IS in fact put aside.

About the Patch:
Smashboards still hasn't fully labeled all of Mario's changes in the update…. so far, we know his Uptilt got a slight Nerf and that's all they've said....
I actually haven't updated my game yet... part of me kinda wants to write down all of the knockback and Damage percentages his moves do today while I'm playing it on my lunch at work so I can compare after I update later.
I hope they fixed Metaknight's hitboxes tho lol. Any word on that?

Also Nintendo confirmed sharing of stages just that it is a feature that will come later with the miiverse stage. Includes sharing all customizable aspects like photos and mii fighters

well..I own the 3DS version now, and i tried classic mode and thought its been pretty cool so far….I wish they allowed mii fighters to switch classes rather than being stuck with 1 class unless you delete the fighter..best character for me so far is megaman
You can just use the same Mii and make a new fighter of a different class…

Dang… the bad news is, Mario seems to have only been nerfed... the good news is, the things that have been nerfed aren't too big a deal (Fully charged Smashes are already ridiculously risky so I avoid doing them, F-Air was only a kill move when sweetspotted anyway, U-Tilt might actually be better at lower % because it won't send the opponent as far up, possibly meaning better combo setup potential)
I'm going to test knockback later when I'm done with work for the night.
While I'm at it, I'm gonna test some more stuff before upgrading. Does anyone have any requests for characters they want me to test?

Also with new info, ZSS was both nerfed and buffed, though slightly leaning towards an overall nerf. Definitely not one of the biggest changers for the patch though.
Ok, I trust that Mickamott tested Damage correctly considering how close our results were overall, but for future reference for anyone that wants to help test, here are the methods you'll wana follow to test Damage and Knockback:
Damage:
Step 1: Pick Training mode since that mode has no Stale Moves and you have a damage readout at the top of the screen.
Step 2: For consistency, always pick Pit as your opponent.
Step 3: Simply do each attack, one at a time, and after each one, stop and record the Damage, Total Damage and Combo numbers at the top of the screen.
Attacks that do multiple hits in one go (like Mario's Down air for example) may take a few tries to nail down what each individual hit does, but it shouldn't be too hard using the "Combo" and "Total" numbers.
Step 4: Report your results.
Testing Knockback is a little trickier, but here's a step by step method for doing it that works:
Step 1: Start a basic SMASH Match (Not Training), do 1v1 and make your opponent a Level 1 Mario.
Step 2: Enable Handicap, set your Handicap % at 0, and Mario's at 150%
Step 3: Start the match and literally do not touch Mario with any attack except ONE instance of the particular attack you are testing in this go. IE, if you want to test a character's F-Smash, start the match and ONLY do ONE F-Smash on the opponent.
If the opponent won't let the attack connect, just take any abuse they dish out (Which won't be much, because, lvl 1) and keep trying the attack until you land one. If you accidentally land an attack that's not the one you're testing, or you accidentally land a second hit of an attack that's not naturally a multi-hit attack, restart the match and try again.
Step 4: After successfully landing only one of the attack you want to test, either wait for the opponent to hit the blast zone and lose a stock, or if it didn't kill them, wait until they've successfully recovered. Remember, you still don't want to do any more attacks.
Step 5: Pause the game and quit
Step 6: At the Results screen, Check the Stats and write down the number for the stat labeled "Max Launcher Speed"
Step 7: Repeat Steps 1-5 on each individual move you wish to test until you have all the data you desire.
UPDATE: Testing with ver 1.0.4 is showing more and more that DI may have been restored to the way it functioned in past Smash games.
IE: The revamped DI system fans have been calling "Vectoring" has been removed and replaced with the classic Directional Influence system from Mele & Brawl.
I double checked to make sure my Mario tests were good and there's one thing to note. Mario's Fair has two sour spots at 12% and 10 % depending on when the swing hits. So it wasn't actually nerfed but we measured two different sourspots. The Smash is definitely what I wrote, and the Utilit as well.

Now in terms of what Sakurai mentioned about DLC, I'm sure we'll be getting some in the future. Not immediately like Mewtwo, the Miiverse stage & Tournament Mode will be in next year, but most likely about 6-7 months after release like Mario Kart 8.
Besides, the Big N just released two titles that were really complete packages in Mario Kart 8 & Hyrule Warriors, and they're getting awesome DLC done right. I'm sure Smash will continue that direction no doubt. Especially since in the interview that Sakurai talked of Mewtwo not being paid DLC he stated that Mewtwo is pretty much an experiment for how Smash will do DLC if that path is taken.
Anyways, pretty much 24 hours away until the HYPE is unleashed!! Let's get pumped!!
