Final nail on the head. Hodi points out that the only reason that he joined Neptune Army is to gain battle experience. That with the rest of the character just screams generic bad guy.
Maybe Jinbe's message might bring something interesting. Maybe.

Nice chapter, Zoro is da shit the ending was nice, seems like Hodi will get to them next week and people will probably see Luffy/Sanji protecting the princess and stop thinking SHs are trying to kidnapp her.

Kinda disappointed Zoro's technique could be so easily blocked. Wouldn't think a fodder fishman body would slow Zoro's attack down a bit but Oda had to make sure we understand Hodi is a prick.

Yeah ! I was right only an underwater battle would give Zoro a real challenge. If he was on ground he would beat them without problem.
Zoro's new attack kinda reminded me of a smaller version of Mihawk's "strongest slash" except that Hodi used a Nakama (against his will) to shield himself.

Man, it doesn't look good for Hodi right now in the way of being not-quite-as-bad-as-Arlong. The guy used his own Nakama as a shield, contrast that to Arlong who screamed in agony when he saw his comrades cut down by Zoro and became enraged at Luffy using a fodder fishman for protection. Even when he could've just blocked it with his trident. Or is there still a good chance of redemption for him as early as this very arc?

With Zoro fighting Hodi, it seems that Sanji will clash with Van der Decken to protect the mermaid princess. Luffy will propably proceed to the Sea Forest with her.

I know it's not the right place and I don't really know if there's one but is it just here that I can't save the pics from mangastream anymore? I used to take one by one holding them and puting on a paste but they're coming in pieces now, anyone? I think this is a very important chapter in the story.
Unfortunately it will not be for a while for the importance of this chapter to become apparent.

Luffy - With the Princess
Hodi - Unenhanced strength shown.Just some things that seem like with some more context will make this episode mean more then it does right now. Or at least that is my take on it.
