Maybe the Noah originally carried humans. What if it sank and all the humans started breeding with the fish 0.o. That's how mermaids came about!

RE: Shichibukai Discussion Thread
I believe it's Fan speculation. Inspired by pirate songs such as "7 deadly sins" by flogging molly and the fact some guy put 7 shichibukai and 7 deadly sins together.

RE: Chapter 624: "Queen Otohime" Discussion
@Speed:
Robin reading the P-glyph might have a flashback having to do with Noah, the old boat might be 800 years old.
That's quite true as it is a massive point of interest in the fishman district. As for the current plot unfolding however, it's my point of view that significant items such as story-discovering relics like that aren't introduced until later.
The SHPs immediate goal however is not to discover the facts surrounding this ship. Their goal is to resolve to conflict within FI and leave (go wild) in the New World. Whether or not NOAH is brought up during this adventure is entirely up to Robin at this point. I however doubt, that we will see such a flashback as to the importance to such a relic unless it is immediately appropriate to the story arc.
In my point of view this subject will not be expounded upon until further in the story when it becomes relevant.
In the mean time..
Is there a possible correlation between this ship (the one mentioned in this chapter that the World Noble is holding) and the one mentioned in the Ace/Luffy flashback that destroyed Sabos boat?

[NOAH] being non-essential to the plot at the moment probably wont be talked about until near the end of the chapter (if at all)

RE: Chapter 623: "The Pirate Fisher Tiger"
You know now that I think about it they never really gave us a reason to think that Tiger was near the top. Sure he freed the salves but we don't know how he did it. For all we know he could have snuck in and released some of the more powerful slaves inside or those who fed destructive Devil Fruits
And I wouldn't be surprsied if the huge bounty on the Sun pirates is also due to the fact that they are fishman. In the Ocean they are nearly unbeatble and they could crippled trade between Islands if they chose to
16 characters of this.
but seriously,
People get this image in their heads about FT and try as hard as they can to sway others; but such is a forum.
I have to take the flashback at face value so far.
We've seen Fisher Tigers relationship with Fishmen and crewmen
We've seen his death scene
We've yet to see how he invaded Mariejois. At face value, he was a powerful fishman that led the Sun Pirates. I'm sure he could withstand multiple bullets throughout battle, but I doubt that he could withstand so many in such a short time.

RE: Chapter 623: "The Pirate Fisher Tiger"
In regards to the "I can't believe how Fisher Tiger died QQ" pity party I just have one thing to say.
It's a flashback and Oda is not trying to confuse you.
Yes Fisher Tiger was mortally wounded by Starwberry and the 50 marines with guns present.
No, it doesnt matter if they were "Fodder Marines" or "Elite Marines"
No, it doesnt matter that this conflicts with how much of a badass he was for assulting Mariejois "prepared"He was defeated. End of Story.
Take it at face value or don't be taken seriously, your call.

RE: Chapter 623: "The Pirate Fisher Tiger"
I think it's pretty clear that the main reason Jimbe accepts the Shichibukai position is to save Arlong.
Jimbe is set too set in his ties with both Fisher Tiger and Otihime. In his eyes, he must protect the fishmen and try to reconcile the differences that saw him lose Tiger. His formidable bounty under Tigers command and the fact he is a Fishman both work in his favor with persuading the WG. He accepts the position and commits Arlong under his fleet to set him free. Arlong, known to Jimbe as being merciless towards humans casts him off in the East Blue, away from the government in a way of saying "I know that nothing I can say will change your mind, but at least here, you will be far away from the central of the WG".In my opinion, Jimbe has already made his decision at the end of this chapter. He is set to put the pieces together between the unknown relationship between the fishmen and humans. The survivors of the sun pirates will no doubt return the FI proclaiming the death of their hero as circumstance to the humans whom "Tiger could not share blood with"
Thus seting the stage for the present relationship between Fishmen and Human. All that is left is for the assissination of Queen Otihime.

Does Sanji not care about Shirahoshi because she is so big?

RE: General Devil Fruit Discussion
I bet it's a fun book to read. It's probably extremely rare. I wonder if the strawhats will ever come across it. I hope not. I think it'd be a big part in ruining the mysteries of the OP world. Unless maybe Chopper memorizes the book then the crew discard it. He could inform Luffy as to what kind of fruit/opponent he's up against.
