Idd, they call them Heroes already. I hope they will be alright and get out of there healthy. Also, there are alot of civil volunteers. Really scared of that core melt accident, that would influence everything within a radius of 500km.

I don't know how much you guys know about those plants and the radiation the people who are currently trying to get things under control are getting hit with… but some of them could eventually die from this. The protective suits they wear only work to a certain extent :(
Its nice to know that there are still people out there willing to do something like this... not many people can say they are willing to chance being blasted by radiation for the chance that they can stop it before it causes others to suffer.
Not could eventually, more like will quickly. I heard they're sending in retired nuclear workers, because at least they know they're old, so them getting cancer won't be as significant as younger nuclear workers with families.

Thankfully, our staff here are fine and our facilities were undamaged. We have resumed work on our regular schedule and shipments are going out as usual. Also, BIG IN JAPAN is located in Minato-ku, one of the three wards of Tokyo which are spared from the rolling blackouts . Therefore our work should not be directly affected by electric shortage.
However, please note that parcels may experience delays in leaving Japan because of logistical disturbances in the postal system. Similarly, the release of some items might be postponed by a few days. Bandai and Megahouse, for example, have already announced that much.
For those of you who might be worried about radiations, fear not ! Radiation levels in the Tokyo area are pretty much non-existent (0.05 on average). As things stand right now, only the immediate vicinity of the Fukushima nuclear plant is a risky place to be. So no, the items we send you will not be contaminated or represent any sort of health hazard.
We hope the situation at the nuclear plant will get sorted out in the next few days and Japan can start recovering from this terrible disaster.- The BIG IN JAPAN team

I'm SO HAPPY my crease package came…. it's the best package EVER ;u; finally got a Luffy hat that will work for my Luffy cosplay. It's the best hat EVER. The noodle figures this round in Japan look really nice….I don't think they're too easy to buy right now from what I've seen in the news for Japanese convenience stores and markets being ransacked (people hoarding in fear of nuclear emergency). No one's really gotten it yet except for the first round of them from HLJ. Lot of customers missed out since there weren't enough. I know quite a few of us are still waiting for Otacute to get them in. I may not get it right away and have been waiting, but at least I know I'll get it and that they're trying to find them.

Do you think there could be problems with the next WCF set with all the things that happened in Japan? I have to get Nami because on Archonia or other European sites this figures are getting more expensive.
I had my first experience with Banpresto DX figures with Rayleigh and I liked him so much. Have the Dragon Ball ones the same quality?

Custom timeskip Nami resin came in. Surprisingly nice actually. I actually like the figure more so in person than in pictures. Thanks for the heads up Elisabeth_Heart. The only thing that surprised me a bit was it's not that solid feeling of a resin….guess I've been too used to Dragon Ball resins lately which are built like tanks. But overall, minus some small paint issues (you'l never see these since you won't stare at the thing from less than 3 inches away 24/7 anyway), it's a worthwhile purchase:
