Guess who Hush is?
! Dick Grayson
Uh, no, it's not. #5 showed that. The story is building up to the revelation brought in the Justice League cartoon about Terry and Bruce's relationship. This "Hush" goes well with that idea.

Haven't gotten that one yet :ninja:
Regardless, the quality doesn't compare to the Superman/Batman Annual that Levitz wrote.
I would take that quality any day for an ongoing.
what batman series or what comic series is Deeathstroke in?
i was playing Mortal Kombat vs DC universe last night and never heard of him,yet heard of the rest of the DC roster
GAH!
It's Teen Titans, something you should really read (1980s, The New Teen Titans, Marv Wolfman & George Perez).
@DanialG:
Bad art? I don't understand those complaints at all. It's not like the artists are Rob Lefield bad…I mean they're no Jim Lee/Alvin Lee but I wouldn't call their stuff bad at all.
Bad character representation? Yes. Bad Art? Not at all.
Art is subjective but…
THAT is bad art and DC and many comic fans will tell you otherwise.
I change my opinion lol. The art in everything after the first issue is terrible. Ryan should be ashamed at how bad he rushed this shit. Ryan is a fantastic artist, but something had to of been wrong with him during this series. Or maybe the editors just fucked with him.

Well, the same team is going to be on the ongoing so I imagine that it will either stay the same or eventually deteriorate more.

My apologies for slight spoilers then. Sorry about that. It may not have been the best delivered route, but I've been enjoying it. I have wanted them to do something with Beyond for quite some time, anyway.
I haven't felt the art to be all that bad. A bit rushed, but nothing I'd really complain about. Those pics you posted were terrible, though, I'll agree. Still, other than some quirky things, it doesn't look too bad as an overall product.
So, no one's willing to discuss Batman Inc. and how awesome it was?
Read more of the Green lantern…specifically Blackest night...which included Vol 2 (Wonder woman, Flash and the JSA) and the one from chapter 43 to 52, since I did read the prev one's a couple month ago. Not sure what comes after...not sure whats after. I also read hulk visionaries vol 5
maybe I'm looking it in a wrong name?
@Green:

If by "awesome" you mean "fucking retarded."
For my Black Friday deal I got was Essental Savage She-Hulk (it contain the entire run of the first She-Hulk series). I got it at Branes and Noble for $5.38.
So I'm not sure anyone here's been reading Thor: The Mighty Avenger, but you really should've been, because it's amazing.
Unfortunately, for those of us who HAVE been reading it, you probably know by now the book is set to be cancelled in early 2010 due to low readership.
Dammit, people just don't know good stuff when they see it.
However, like all loyal fanbases, someone has set up a grassroots resistance to fight the cancellation (or at least let the current storyline finish up). After reading this review of T:TMA #6, and the reviewers call to arms of flooding Marvel HQ with rainbows to save the book, a Dylan Todd created something to show our adoration (and be sent with pleas to let the book breathe a little longer).

As I said, not sure if anyone here reads the book. But if you do, this may just jump to the top of your 'to do' list this weekend.
I've already sent mine via snailmailr.com (which only requires an Amazon account to pay), which is $1 for a 2 page letter (cheaper than the stamp, printouts, and envelope).
They aren't going to listen.
Marvel has canceled more than 12 ongoings in the past 2 months.
It it isn't selling more than 40k you can plan on it getting canned.
wish I remember what that one site was where I was able to download the comics since i'm broke and i'd like to read something other than manga every once in awhile. The last thing I read was the Kick Ass series.

AWESOME! thank you very much.
Im going to buy the issue soon…this has got me intrested to know who its going to be
Seems like it'd be Johnny if for no other reason than he hasn't ever died before while the rest of the Fantastic Four has at some point or other.
And whoever does kick the bucket will be back in a year or two. Yawn.
TECHINICALLY Franklin is the only member who has never died.
I thought Reed was going to die, but I haven't been keeping up on current FF stuff yet (have the TPBs/HCs, only read the first so far).
General online consensus is that it will be Johnny, though.
Live-action television series on The CW
On December 3, 2010, it was announced that The CW has ordered a live-action television series script focusing on the Raven character. Describing her as "a half-demon also known as Rachel Roth," the pilot script will be written by Diego Gutierrez, who will also be executive producer.[20]

Does Deadpool belong to DC or Marvel?
because Deadpool not only is in the Marvel alliance 2 game, but in the DC vs Mortal Kombat game too
right now reading the Hulk Grey comics…and yes i know im jumping around in stories
Deadpool isn't in dc vs mortal combat
Now deathstroke the terminator the character that deadpool started off as a rip off of is in dc vs mortal kombat
You can't really call it a rip of so much as inspired by, most comics that are "rip offs" as you say are due to the writers that previously worked in one company switching over to the other.
It's a single idea that has been explored in two different forums, and besides Deadpool has evolved as far away from Deathstroke as possible.

No, he WAS a rip-off.
Here's the thing.
George Perez made Taskmaster when working for Marvel and then Deathstroke when working on New Teen Titans for DC. He decided that he like the concept of Taskmaster a lot so he decided to make a character that was almost the same in concept but then changed it down the line since Slade Wilson had more time to be developed.
For Deadpool, however, Rob Liefield just ripped off Deathstroke in order to make a new character. Fabian Nicieza gave him a personality so as to make it more of a parody than to make it look like they just copied it.
In fact, it takes only two seconds to find that out if you look up Deadpool on wikipedia.
Created by artist Rob Liefeld and writer Fabian Nicieza, Deadpool made his first appearance in the pages of New Mutants #98 published in February 1991. Rob Liefeld, a fan of the Teen Titans comics, showed his new character to then writer Fabian Nicieza. Upon seeing the costume and noting his characteristics (killer with super agility), Nicieza contacted Liefeld, saying "this is Deathstroke from Teen Titans." Nicieza gave Deadpool the real name of "Wade Wilson" as an in-joke to being "related" to "Slade Wilson", Deathstroke.[4]
Look like Kitty is going to be important in the next story arc of Uncanny X-Men.

Can't wait for this.
According to Marvel, the Human Torch dies in issue 587.
First Portgas D. Ace, then the Human Torch? Fire characters cannot get a break :(
Discuss this sad occassion
Which Human Torch?
Was spoiled about it this afternoon. Can understand why it wasn't Reed or Sue(Reed is supposed to be important and Sue…well to many woman in the fridge) And it seemed like Johnny has gotten the least development lately. Wonder how this will play out resurrection wise.
Heard about this. 'The Fantastic Three.' LOL.
Like with all these type of comic books, I'm sure he'll be back eventually.
Sue is the only FF member I'd REALLY go out of my way to say that I like. Johnny and Ben are cool in terms of personality, but I don't really like their powers.
Reed should die a thousand deaths.
So that kind of sucks. I hate the usage of death as a method to make sales.
Marvel kinda forced me out of superhero comics two events ago.
at least Ace will stay dead….me hopes.
He'll be back for issue #600
Eh, I said Johnny when it was announced and sure enough.
I'm going to guess a maximum of two years before he comes back.
TheDude's 600 sounds about right; that's more than a year away and a major milestone issue.
Hehe, for a second I thought it was the android torch. XD
Flame… off...
Sigh…
better Johnny than Ben

Discuss this sad occassion
It's really annoying.
Especially since I love fire-ability characters.
@Cyan:
Which Human Torch?
Obviously "Earth-616" Johnny…?
@The:
He'll be back for issue #600
I thought the Fantastic Four series was ending…?
@The:
better Johnny than Ben
Bullshit.
Sue is the only FF member I'd REALLY go out of my way to say that I like. Johnny and Ben are cool in terms of personality, but I don't really like their powers.
I always thought the Fantastic Four were lamest superheroes. The only one I liked was Ben the thing but thats because he's an unintentionally hilarious offensive poke at Jews(if you know what I mean)
Yeah but Dr. Doom rules, despite his cheesy ass name. The reason why the fantastic four movie sucked is because no matter how much you try the fantastic four are just the type of hero's you really take very seriously.
You got a science god who can stretch, a mutated retard who's jewish, a lady who disappears, and a guy who can turn himself to fire and fly.
They're unintentionally funny.
Reed should die a thousand deaths.
Reed really is too intelligent I mean this guy is insaely smart
I mean look at this
Genius-Level Intellect: Dr. Richards is the most intelligent being on the planet. Reed possesses a mastery of electrical, mechanical and aerospace engineering, electronics, chemistry, all levels of physics, and human and alien biology. A visionary theoretician and inspired machine smith, he has made breakthroughs in such varied fields as space travel, time travel, extra-dimensional travel, biochemistry, robotics, computers, synthetic polymers, communications, mutations, transportation, holography, energy generation, spectral analysis and more. He is one of the few people on Earth to be an expert on other dimensions and the methods by which to travel to and through them. Reed’s patents are so valuable that he is able to bankroll the Fantastic Four, Inc., without any undue financial stress. Not only has Reed proven himself to be a genius in virtually every science native to Earth, he has shown himself to be more knowledgeable than even some of the most highly advanced alien civilizations in the known universe as well.
And he still can't find the cure to cancer?
So that kind of sucks. I hate the usage of death as a method to make sales.
It worked for Superman (which lead to his awful mullet) and even Batman and might for Spider-man(marvel's doing the same for him too) its kinda sad gimmick but only supports my theory of the wrong direction western superhero comics are going, especially American comics. But this time they are going killing of the Torch for a decade then bring him back in a stupidly convoluted way.
Good riddance,Flame Boy and Stretch Man are the 2 worst Marvel characters,it's a shame that he'll probably be resurrected.
Shut half of your whore mouth Nico!
He should come back sporting a badass hat and rename himself "Fire Fist' Now that'd be a twist that could boost sales.
Meh, I still haven't got over Nightcrawlers death….
Johnny is your go to guy if you want a gimmicky shock story that temporarily kills a semi important character. I'm a little surprised they tried the Wasp first.
