Every time I watch Modern Warfare I have to wonder what moronic hackjobs are in the award committees for the Emmys, Golden Globes and SAGs to not nominate Community for anything at all, but dump tons of nominations on The Big Bang Theory, Glee, The Office, Nurse Jackie and so on.
I mean, how is it possible that these completely humorless people decide what comedy gets the most prestigious prizes for television shows.

Community has a lot of recurring jokes, so it's best to start from the beginning. The first couple of episodes are just good, but it's excellent from episode 7 (the Halloween episode) onwards. That's really when the writers decided where they wanted to go with the show and its characters.

Community won't get a nomination. It's too unpopular and "wacky" to be taken serious by award committees. This year's nominations will probably be the same as last year (Office, Glee, 30 Rock, Modern Family).
The Emmys are total jokes anyway. The actual winners usually deserve it, but the nominations are full of trash every year. All you need to know about the Emmys is that FlashForward has more of them than The Wire and It's Always Sunny combined.
At least Joel McHale got to be part of that amazing Emmy opening last year.
