Well provided those two aspects are apart of this game as they're not apart of the Persona games proper.

Oh, I was just drumming up a hypothetical.
Also given the little teaser a couple years back, I was expecting the likes of Marth, Ike, Lucina, and others to cross over into modern day Japan. Ah well.
Looks like Toysrus are doing pre-orders again for greninja on April 27th, saw it on ign website so not sure if this is true or not.
For reference:
!
If someone in NA wants any game off this list –> https://club.nintendo.com/elite-status-gifts.do
I can trade it for a $20 eshop card code. The site should be alright by now
So, which games do you guys think i should get? New Super Mario bros 2, Yoshi's new island or Ultimate Nes remix?
Also,it's been like a month since i ordered a reward from Club Nintendo. Maaaan, where is it? :(
Finaly I cashed in, Link's awakening, Oracle of Ages (gold reward), The newest Mario vs DK minis thing, and took the chance to download the pokemon candy crush .
So both IGN and Gamexplain have released their analysis' of the SMTxFE trailer and both have made me more hyped. I'm linking both as they both have advantages in them (Gamexplain go more in-depth but ign translate the japanese text).

I find really interesting what IGN says about two of the monsters shown in the trailer. One is gangrel and the other Aversa. That's pretty cool.
Also something neither pointed out but i noticed was that the red-haird swordsman seen about half-way through is obviously a myrmidon but he also bears a resemblance to Joshua, the myrmidon from sacred stones.
I recognized Tiki in the trailer as well.
This is extreme dedication. In case you can't tell, it's the Super Mario Brothers title screen recreated entirely out of toothpicks.

Amazing work there.
It would be a shame if something happened to it…
So… Is anyone else out there voting for Ryu, Kat or any other Breath of Fire character for Smash? Are they even viable candidates? Is it a lost cause?
Even Capcom doesn't give a crap about breath of fire, and they're not exactly supe riconic. No, they're not viable. (much as I love them)
It is kinda hard when you are 6 different persons…
Wait, hold on...
But… But i thought smash was all about dead franchises... :(
Well Breath Of Fire isn't a dead series so…..

Wait you call the browser game they are making a revival? because to me its been dead for some years, unfortunatly since I love the series but y its dead.

Let's go half and half and call it a Zombie Franchise.

I didn't see anyone reporting this earlier, so:
The new Fire Emblem game, entitled Fire Emblem: If in Japan, is being split into two different games there: the White Kingdom (Hoshido) and Black Kingdom (Nohr). Both games start with the same 6 chapters before branching to joining one of the two warring kingdoms. Hoshido will have a traditional FE plot as you gather allies to fight against the aggressive Nohr Kingdom; it will have an open world map that allows grinding and is in general intended to be easier. Nohr features a more complex plot that involves acting a revolutionary and trying to reform the country from the inside. It's expected to have a more linear storyline and is meant to be the harder of the two versions. Each side will feature a full game's worth of content.
Additionally, in Japan DLC is being offered that allows the player to buy the other side's story at approximately 40% of the price of the full game. A third, more neutral storyline is to be released in the future, also for the same price, and there's rumors about a special hard-copy version that will feature all three stories for a more expensive price, of course.
It's unknown if this model will be used for the American and international releases of the game.
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
Obviously very few people are happy about this Pokemon-style plan, but it does sound like each version will feature unique battles, plots, and characters to make them significantly different. So that's something, I guess.
Nohr is obviously the superior choice. Just sayin'.
Hmm, I suppose the disappointment lies in the fact that Fire Emblem hasn't ever done this two version system (with two different carts) and the fact that when Iwata said the player's choices will dramatically affect the outcomes, we were all thinking you take a different route ingame.
Dividing into two versions kinda limits your choices, but some big developments could still occur. (important character dying or living, and so on….betrayal maybe?)
With the possible tactic of selling one version and making the other DLC....it does get rid of the problem of buying both versions in store, but it also works to its disadvantage in a narrative sense - like the route they're selling physically "matters" more implicitly. Maybe it's just me.
Now a third, neutral route? I'm on board for that, since it'd be more fun to experience both halves and choose the path down the middle. All in all, I can't wait for the game, and I will be avoiding spoilers like crazy until 2016. I was technically spoiled to Awakening's plot twists.
(And speaking of Awakening, I really want the pair up system and marriages and stuff to return)

To be fair it's nice to mention what a link is about instead of just posting it.
Let's put some of my recent gaming news here…
For the New Super Smash Bros character, I voted Sceptile, from Pokemon... Because Grass-type need to have a fully evolved starter as well and I think Sceptile is the one to make the more sense, as far as starters go, it's from one of the 2 middle generation (Charizard is from the first and Greninja from the last) and with the recent Ruby/Sapphire remake and the new Mega-Evolution...
Fire Emblem: If: I'm not really bothered with the whole Pokémon thing they might pull on us, even if it's come to Canada in this form too. Actually, I'd rather have that than DLC that takes almost the same place of a full game... You see, I have this IRL friend who is a fan of both Pokémon and Fire Emblem too. When we buy Pokemon games, we buy opposite versions, so we can trade the version-exclusive before having to do it with random online people. For Fire Emblem If, we'll simply buy opposite version, and then trade the cartriges once we finish our version. I'm very exited for this game anyways and I already know that I will start with Nohr since not only I'm a bit more experianced with FE games than my best friend, but I'm also more into dark-ish characters than him... And my friend said that he wanted to start with Hoshido anyways...
Finally... I'm totally and utterly in love with Story of Seasons. IMO, It's the best Harvest Moon game ever... Even if it doesn't have the Harvest Moon name anymore... I like the gameplay, all the stuff there is to do, the characters, the style, the graphics, EVERYTHING! Seriously... I'm not sure what happened between Marvelous and Natsume, but it's obvious that Marvelous were the real genious behind Harvest Moon... Especially after seeing what Natsume did with their first HM game they made by themselves (Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley... I know that some might like it, but I really disliked it...) I just hope that losing the right to use the name Harverst Moon in the game localisations won't cost them too much...
(And speaking of Awakening, I really want the pair up system and marriages and stuff to return)
Marriage without kids is kinda meaningless in my opinion.

My understanding is that if you just download the game in the first place you can choose either path on your first playthrough after chapter 6, after which you're locked in to that version until you buy DLC. Other in-game choices would be great too, beyond just some of the stuff in the past like choosing between one of two mediocre prepromotes.
Supports and marriages are almost certain to be included, considering that they've been around since the SNES games. I would think the options would be a bit less open, though, and eugenics probably won't be a thing.
Pairing up is confirmed to return, but this time enemies will be able to do it too!

Oh that's how it (might) work? I'm kinda confused as it why it can't be on the same cart, but ah well. I wonder how the story begins before chapter 6….I suppose the two sides would start to go to war at that point.

Ooh that'll be challenging.

I think before chapter 6, the protagonist reunites with his Hoshido kin and only in chapter 6 he/she chooses a side.

Sounds about right to me. I would guess that your character and a few others might express discontent with Nohr's aggression before then and are sent on a few skirmishes where you encounter your kin.
And yeah, looking forward to enemies pairing up since that mechanic was broken as hell in Awakening.

Aaah.
It seems like the situation will be "Hoshido = good, Nohr = evil" (given the trailer, titles, and Trinnen's comment that you will change the circumstances within the Nohr kingdom), but I'm hoping for one of these two circumstances:
a) the idea is the above, but you have morally sound elites within Nohr hoping to stop corruption and morally questionable elites within Hoshido not so pleased with the leader's push for peace or something like that. To make the story more interesting.
b) the idea is the above, but it's so black and white you can be flirt with being an evil MC? Maybe he/she wants to rule over all, to do away with the existing nations and make his/her own.
a) is definitely more likely than b), but I won't necessarily complain if it's fighting with good Hoshido or good you changing the evil Nohr.
I do want something Awakening lacked from FE7….varying the chapter goals. More throne seizing or rescuing certain units.

I think it's pretty likely we'll see both sympathetic and corrupt characters on both sides in both versions.
I doubt Nintendo will give us the option to be straight up evil, but it would be really cool if your charactet was significantly crueler if you go Nohr. If you've Atlus's Rondo of Swords, you make a decision about halfway through
! on whether to kill your adopted sister as a sacrifice. If you go the "good" route the story plays out like a fairy tale, but making the harder decision turns your character much colder and more ruthless and ultimately results in
! finding out you're a homunculus and ends with anothet young girl dying for your sake. Maybe the SMTxFE cooperation has ended up rubbing some of that complexity off on Intelligent Systems?
We need more complex maps and objectives. A lot of the late-game Awakening maps felt way too open and emphasized formations over choke points and varied tactics.
I dont know exactly HOW old this is..but theres a gold Honest Abe Mii in Mii Plaza
Why does it seem like Nintendo is adapting to all the shitty parts of modern gaming (micro-transactions, amiibo, charging for branching paths -_-) but none of the good parts of it (well featured online gaming)
It's simply, Nintendo see that the other companies are making tons of money with DLC, mirco-transactions, toys, and F2P. So they want to get on that too. It's ashamed that the amiibo is a train wreck right now and it's actually hurting their name, well at least in American. Not sure how Japan and Europe is doing.

They're selling out how is that hurting the brand?
I cannot wait to play as the hateful Western dogs and destroy the peaceful Nippon people in Fire Emblem If for 3DS.
I will also buy like 20 of not-Camus's Amiibo.
For anyone interested, here's a comparison video of the pre-patch Code Name: Steam (slower enemy turns), and the post-patch Code Name: Steam (sped up enemy turns).
And here's a summary of the EDGE article on Splatoon:
Summary of Edge article on Splatoon
- Main article has quotes from Amano/Sakaguchi and Nogami and talks about Edge playing the same demo build of the game the media played a few weeks back.
- The prototype had basic block characters and the ink painting mechanic. You were invisible when you were in your own ink. Amano/Sakaguchi added in jumping, hiding in ink, and the ability to shoot up and down. After that, though, they were confused about what they wanted to do with the game. They thought they might put a squid character on the box art but they needed a humanoid character to hold the guns. They thought a "squid human" wouldn't sell.
- Amano/Sakaguchi were scolded by Miyamoto in 2013 when doing the prototype who said "I don't understand. What do you want to do? There's no appeal to this game".
- They had an epiphany on Jan 6, 2014 that they could have you switch between a squid and human form and they rapidly got a bunch of ideas about how you swim faster in your own ink, you slow down in enemy ink and take damage, you can swim up walls, etc.
- Amano is a fan of "shooting games", but when he would invite friends to play with him they would get frustrated. He wants to make a game that is different that people who aren't fans of traditional shooters can play.
- Edge magazine says "Splatoon has no voice chat and never will". Amano says: "This is coming from personal experience. When I played online games, I didn't like the negativity I got and people telling me 'You're crap. Go away'. So we wanted to focus on the positive aspects of online gaming". Amano says he's not saying that chat in an online game can't contribute to fun but they want to grab new players.
- Confirms that there are some Splat Zone maps with more than one boxed-off area to capture. If you claim all the territories your timer starts to count down, but if your opponent captures one the timer stops.
- The same primary weapon can come in a variation with the different sub/special weapon
- Can start firing after a super jump right before you land
- More online modes besides Turf War/Splat Zones
- One respawn point per team, but you're invulnerable while on it to discourage campers.
- A lot of the designers on the team are in their 30s, so the 90s style with street fashion and trainers is a big inspiration for the outfits
- Trick to balancing the weapons according to Sakaguchi is to make people want a little more ("if only it could shoot a little farther/shoot faster"). They aren't going out trying to make the strongest weapon in the game.
- 15 singleplayer challenges and "5 rare pieces of gear" for each of the 3 Amiibos
- Q&A with Katsuya Eguchi. Thinks Splatoon IP has huge potential. Important to have things that will draw attention to the game after release (basically hints at content updates/DLC).

The reason for no voice chat is still very dumb.
Agree.
I mean, just have voice chat only work with friends. If you don't like how they treat you, just don't play with them.
Or just mute them. Is that sort of function so hard?
For Nintendo it seems it is.

Oh look they're getting in on the Spylanders craze too.
Xenoblade Chronicles 3D comes out tomorrow…..can't wait!
Anyone else gonna get it?
I only have an Old 3DS, so nope.
Same problem. Not willing to shell out on a new console because I'm poor and I don't want to.
They do seem to have added Xenoblade menu themes for everyone though, last I heard. That's nice.
I was iffy on getting it, but I figured why not, I had the same regular vanilla 3DS. At least I'm prepared if and when more games become new 3DS only.
Plus I never got the Wii original.
See, in between present-buying and getting stuff for myself as well, I realized that I have bought a total of 5 3DSs. That is way too much.
So even if I had the movie I would probably put my foot down.
There's really zero incentive for me to get a New 3DS other than Xenoblade. And I ain't forkin over $240 just to play one game.
