I hope we get some new game announcements, most of the games for 3DS and WII U that were announced have come out or are about to, the 3DS mainly this year was amazing for it but nothing is a announced for next year.

I had no idea that digital games could be registered..
After following the steps on Club Nintendo, I'm guessing that you can't register games after the fact. :sad:
I finally revisited this and called Nintendo earlier. I was able to have all of my digital games registered successfully(after I confirmed my NNID, Club Nintendo account name, and listed all my digital titles)
The process was about 20 minutes since each game had to be taken care of individually but I suppose it COULD be worth it in the end. None of the rewards impress me but I'll keep a lookout now that I have a bunch of coins to spend

So nintendo have made a list of all the amiibis that work with mario kart 8. There are 2 things to note on this:
- Kirby, Captain Falcon, Samus and Fox are listed down as amiibos that work. Potential future dlc?
- The Villager amiibo is not listed down even though we know that he is coming.

Impressions so far:
My money belongs to Majora's Mask.
If by the next Smash Aberaham Lincoln is not a playable character, Nintendo will have missed out.
If by the next set of Mario Kart 8 DLC Captain Falcon is not a playable character, Nintendo will have missed out.
Duck Hunt Dog, cool I guess. I laughed at the warning that Smash isn't compatible with the Zapper.

Majora's Mask 3D! Finally! So happy about that; seriously one of my favorite games.
Mario Kart DLC looks fun - makes the Zelda fan in me happy.
Glad to see that Splatoon will have a single player mode - while it looked fun, I was a little worried that it would be a little light on content. Definitely excited for that now.
Also, we already knew he was in Smash Bros now, but I loved the Duck Hunt video.

Splatoon went from "it looks fun but eh" to "almost guaranteed buy" with the single-player campaign announcement.
STEAM still looks interesting and like it will satisfy my tactical RPG needs.

Hyped for Splatoon more than anything else, that was a pretty solid trailer. Majora's Mask should be fun as I can finally see and try to understand the hype behind that game. A bunch of others are pending on reviews. Steam could be a success given it's from the studio that made me love fire emblem (and wario ware and paper mario … ) but they also did advance wars and that one I just stopped playing at some point, so I have to wait and see if it fits to my style.

I'd like to believe that exclusivity for the "New 3DS" would've been announced during the Direct. Hopefully features are not left out just to "force" people to buy a ~$200 "upgraded" handheld console.

Nice, so the limited edition is coming to EU? I'll be grabbing it then. I didn't get the limited edition OR/AS with figures, just because they actually are pretty low quality - I'm all in for limited editions, but only if they're really well made and I can put them somewhere nice. Like MM and that poster.
I'm even more hyped for Splatoon now, but the STEAM game, while it looks cool, still makes me kinda see it as an X-COM rip-off…
