Everyone complaining about how Luffy doesn't look that mature need to shut up and realize that people don't age much in 2 years.
If it was 7 or 10 years, then yeah, he'd look more adult.I can't imagine Luffy being mature at all. He's 19 now. If he makes another timeskip like 19-21 then we could see him getting mature.
Anyways i hardly beleive he will ever look mature xD

Franky just looks so fucking hulkish and ready to smash stuff into pieces. Plus I like how all the idiots moan about his hair.
Also Zoro's subtle changes are really coolDon't enjoy Zoro's scar that seems a homage to the "pirate kings first mate".
I would have enjoyed a similiar looking scar on Zoro as the one thats on luffys chest. Not so much the shape but the type of scar on his for head off to the side. Kinda a deep gash "took a chunk out" kind of scar.
For me i rather enjoy Sanji, Luffy, and Usopp.

Being a Franky cosplayer, and Franky being my favorite character in One Piece, I give this to… Sanji, with Usopp at a VERY close 2nd.
I still do not approve the new Franky, but in this order these are my favorite new designs (save Chopper and Brook): Sanji, Usopp, Zoro, Luffy, Nami, Robin, Franky.

Well, I predicted that nobody would change at all… Has anyone ever seen the flashbacks? They all look exactly the same as kids as they do now, but smaller. So I was surprised. At first I hated all of them, except for Usopp (I was praying for him to get buff. I mean, everything about him before screamed 'WIMP') But they grew on me. And so:
1. Usopp. He actually looks like he might be tough now.2. Robin. I never got why people were so obsessed with her before, because something in her hair always threw me off. That's gone now
3. Nami. Her changes were really predictable, but executed really well. I'm jealous of that hair.
4. Luffy. I didn't really want him to change, because I think he rocks as he is, but that scar is AWESOME. I was getting tired of everyone getting torn up and Zoro being the only one to get scars. Plus his new clothes make him look more piratey. But he needs to go back to the vest.
5. Zoro. His new scar seriously suits him...
6. Chopper. I think Oda managed to make him 300% cuter, what with the new hat. WAY TO GO!!! <--lover of all things cute
7. Sanji. I really liked the old Sanji... His new eyebrow throws me off and the beard is gross in my opinion.
8. Brook. Not much change, but that's to be expected. The Doflamingo look is iffy for me though. I liked the gentleman look, because it's what you would expect to see on a talking skeleton.
9. Franky. I'll have to judge when we actually see him, but I never really liked Franky's look, and now he's twice the Franky that he was, so I dislike him twice as much. I hope his personality didn't change though, because SUPAAAAH is just a total win.
But I just have to say, what's with all the hating on Luffy not changing? HE GOT A SCAR. You know who else got a scar? ZORO. So please people, stop picking Zoro as your fave and then dissing Luffy for not changing. Luffy's scar is bigger.

I like all the changes, subtle and not so subtle both.
I like that Luffy still looks the same old luffy but slightly old - in attitude but still has that can't wait for adventure smile <3 The scar is very cool too
Usopp. I love Usopp <3 He's so funny. Not really liking the hat but hoping it's hiding some cool tone dial headphones and dreads or something >.<
Hmm I like Choppers cute top and the Hat looks better in the chapter than in the colour spread so that's a plus.
I'm waiting for the full Franky reveal but it looks fun and very SUPAH
Nami… I was glad that she isn't so barbie-ish and less .. pronounced ... in the actual chapter than she appears in the colour spread. I like her hair though and her face has become more mature and pretty
Zoro - again waiting for the full reveal next chapter but liking the slightly longer hair. I'm hoping he is only winking in the colour spread and the eye is still there. If not then an eye-patch - and maybe a southbird - would be great
Robin is looking very good but the surrong is a bit too much like Hancock for my tastes. She looks very buitiful and more confident too. I love her hair <3

Plus people in One Piece are changing clothes all the time…We are talking about the actual look, Usopp will probably have diferent clothing in the future as usual, people in One Piece are actually tidy and dont like using the same clothing all the time, atleast the crew haha.

I really like Nami´s new look (I think I really like girls with long hair :D).
And I don´t actually really like Robin´s new appearance…probably have to get used to it ^^Usopp really look cool, that´s a given. Like Sanji´s beard, and Zorro looks cool as well.
Would have liked it if Luffy would have changed a bit more as well, but ah well...
And do ya guys think Chopper´s human form has changed? Would be great ;) -

It'd be awesome if Zoro actually had long hair tied back! If he lost an eye it'd be kind of cool too.

Franky's never been a favorite of mine, but the new punk short hairstyle is awesome, and If Oda can give him some pants to wear that'd be great. However he looks way too bulky, it reminds me a lot of Wapol, I hated Wapol. -

Sanji got a more muscular body build. An awesome looking suit, and his LEFT FRICKEN EYE has been revealed! Also it's kinda hilarious that he's parted his hair the other way. Also it's slightly longer.
Tbh, I didn't really notice much of a change in Usopp bar a different hairstyle and the obligatory muscles.

Chopper to have his muzzle extended to show that he's actually aged (and lose his mascot status).
Franky wouild have retained his hair.
Luffy should have buffed up a bit.

Yeah, for me it's all about the personality. Those are the important changes. The new Usopp oozes genuine confidence, which probably makes his the most significant change. Aside from Franky obviously - I can't wait to see more of him next chapter. He's got a lot of people to win over after that colour spread. I predict his votes will sky rocket.

Personally, I don't have any problems with any new design. Only Franky's lack of hair bothers me, but I'll wait until he actually appears again.
For all we know, it could shoot out in an instant when he feels like it. Yes, instead of a different fuel source, it matches with his emotions.

Usopp seems to have lost his Hit and Run mentality but still seems to be surprised alot. So his future battle he'll probably still have him screaming but due to surprise instead of fear.

I Only wished Luffy had a bit longer hair. Not much longer but at least to his nose…. Nami, I don't know it seems okay but I don't know where that straw hat will fit on her head. The cuteness factor was there when she wore it.
