Weird. I haven't seen many local folks under 25 who have a beard. Vast amount of people with stubble and some sort of moustache, but beards are quite rare. It might be just my area and the local customs, though.

Everyone is different so the men may, or may not, have some type of facial hair. I've had a beard growing in since I was 17 but my brother, who turns 19 in November, barely has a mustache and no beard hair.

Not really. All we know from some scan (which isn't working anymore) is that Toriko will have an important announcement (probably an anime) in issue 44. Heiji then replayed and added that One Piece will have one as well.
Some people in 2chan think that it might be news for the 11th film, which does make sense. But then again, it's just rumors.
I wonder what the announcement could be. I mean, we already know that there's a new databook in the works. I guess it could be a movie, I suppose.
I don't think Luffy's going to change that much. He's still quite an iconic character. Maybe he'll have slightly longer hair and his eyes will be a bit smaller or something, but judging from that sketch of him about to demonstrate his Ambition to Marguerite, he doesn't really look different at all.

A day early is possible, but I wouldn't count on it. Early spoilers normally come when there's no issue of Jump the week before so that copies of the magazine itself appear earlier. In this case, only OP is on break, so there shouldn't be any significant shift in the routine.

As great as the manga is, there's just a special quality that comes with watching it animated that I love to see. Especially the action scenes.

Meh. I watched the anime all the way through CP9, and the only scene that ever felt stronger in the anime than the manga was "the punch". You know the one, right? "That" punch? If you think I'm talking about Lucchi or the Tenryuubito, you sure would have to be young, so I bet you know which one I mean.

Have you seen the alternate-universe filler episodes? Like, the ones that included pandaman?
But to give the manga significant room they'd have to do a good 40-50 episodes based off those.
Filler Filled Flashback I could definitely see them putting in a few episode specials and then meshing filler material with the Luffy, Ace, and Sabo flashback.
After that they would probably do some sort of "First Half Of One Piece" look-back special to reiterate the SH adventures from the beginning until now.
There are many possibilities that don't have to involve omega amounts of back-to-back left field fillers.

Most long manga series do NOT change their name despite timeskips or gaps. This is usually a convention used in the Anime series.
As you pointed out, Dragonball and Naruto did not change the Manga name but they DID change the Anime name.
We can expect this to happen with the One Piece ANIME (not manga) but nothing is for certain.
