It is just goes to show strong sales does not mean quality.
-
How can Bleach continue, HOW??
-
How can there be a billion of people living in chronic hunger?
-
@Tokoro:
A better clue: the living female pincushion.
By the way…she's dead isn't she? I mean we've never seen her since that arc ended, and if she was alive I'm sure Kubo is considerate enough to acknowledge this.
I sure hope she is. She's better off that way.
-
First of all, of COURSE she's not dead.
Hiyori didn't die and she was chopped in half like forever ago.
But no, remember in the latest chapter we saw Hitsugaya training because "he wouldn't be able to protect Momo if he stayed as he was?"
She lives to be stabbed another day.
-
Sadly Shrimpo fans probably wouldn't want Momo dead. It gives him reason to remain relevant.

So Aizen WAS a good guy trying to save us readers from seeing more of Shrimpo?
-
Honestly, the episode was a pretty damn fantastic one.
The way they built everything up, along with the subtle things like the transparent Gin while talking about Aizen's ability was just great.
Bleach is such a shit series, but I'll be dammed if I didn't really enjoy that episode.
-
The Bleach anime has picked it up in the last three episodes, I'm impressed.

This. SO MUCH.
I have to say, that episode was amazing. Even if it was an infamous part of Bleach (among many to come), it was just done so well.
Man…...
-
Okay, I just skimmed the episode for the moment just because I was curious if the anime added anything to explain about how Momo switched places or anything from Ichigo's perspective. Well, since it doesn't seem like it did, oh well. We remain as confused as always.
I'll give a review of the episode once I watch it fully. But from the bits I glimmered over and your reviews, it looks like it was done really good.
-
I'm curious to what Kubo is going to do now, we'll he start over with a new character, if he does, I might get interested in Bleach again, or will he just have Ichigo get his powers back, which would be lame.
Kubo, you've got my attention, let's see if you can bring Bleach back to the Soul Society Arc days.
-
SS isn't that great actually. Aside from the Kenpachi fights I didn't really enjoy it.
-

In retrospect, that and the Arrancar arc are probably his two best.
I want to love Bleach, I do..but it's just blown so bad for so long. Kubo's got a chance to give it a spark again…
-
We are supposed to believe Arrancar arc is everyrhing that happened after Soul Society till now.
-
I love the fact that we had, like, only three arcs so far.
-
A promising start, an average middle, and the Bleach.
-

While the SS arc may have not been anything amazing, it was enjoyable and still is to me, even knowing the shit that follows. And it's worlds better than the entire Arrancar arc.
-

Let me correct myself the "Vizard arc."
-
Well, the anime made one shit plot point tolerable. It doesn't change the fact that it's still shit, though.
Aizen will push Momo down the stairs next, mark my words.
-
Well we know Momo is going to live, as Squad 12 said she is getting organ transplants or something. (Yes, the way people survive is stupid, but let's ignore that.)
Kubo claims he is going to give Chad more focus someday. Maybe Momo will finally get a chance to redeem herself. Assuming, of course, we don't get an entirely new cast in the next arc.
-
Next week on Bleach:

It's very easy.
One Piece= War
Naruto= War
Bleach= War (next a War between Soul Society and Hell xD) -
Bleach already had a "war".
-
There are wars more intense after some people eat buritos.
-
Anime>Manga when it comes to Bleach, seriously.

THIS^^^ and today's episode is a perfect example of it
-
Next week on Bleach:
http://img213.imageshack.us/img213/9586/hinamoritroll.jpgThat looks incredibly awkward, lol. And not just the look on her face, but her female top on a muscular male body.
Sigh… I do really hope the next time (if at all) we see Momo, she's not like this, because I will be even more annoyed.
-
Momo will never do anything worthwhile in Bleach ever, mostly because Kubo treats his characters as objects for plot progression.
And what a stupid plot progression it is.
-
His characters ARE plot progression. They are literally plot-device characters.
-
Can't wait to the retarded fire extinguisher animated next week.
-
THIS^^^ and today's episode is a perfect example of it
And if they made a Bleach PS3 game it would be even better! By the way after watching todays episode of bleach i feel like i hate it EVEN MORE NOW despite the fact i already saw this scene in the manga.

Ok the people in this thread are just retarded. http://forums.narutofan.com/showthread.php?t=671323&page=4

Tamaki why do you think we care about the ingrates on NF.

It's Narutofan. Did you expect quality?

No idea. just trying to find some lol's from there stupidity. but its not working for me.
-
Wheres part 4 of the review?
-
Bleach already had a "war".
'had' a war?
Bleach is two wars with some shonen shenanigan filler at the start.
-
Was I the only one laughing when Momo got stabbed in the anime? Sure the whole "you guys" bit wasn't as long as expected but Momo's stabbing was just hilarious when you know to expect it.
And the Omake…honestly Sasakibe is such a forgotten character he could have just stood there with the barrier the whole time and no one would have noticed. At least Aizen dealt with him in an appropriate manner. (now all we need is how the heck Kensei lost to a living fire extinguisher)

Same here! As surprisingly good as this episode was (seriously, the anime is so much better than the manga it's ridiculous - though not a particularly hard task), I cracked up when I saw that!
As annoying as Aizen "killing" everyone off was, it was actually kind of chilling in the anime.

She's being treated by Mayuri's division .

Prety much how I felt . Except I liked the begining and the Yamamoto fight .
…...............
I feel realy bad for her now .
Let me correct myself the "Vizard arc."
Acoridng to Kubo that does not exist .
-
At this point the fans have more authority than Kubo of what is declared canon and non-canon lol.

I honestly think that 'sphyer' is zoom.
-
No , spyher's cool . We actualy spent like thirty messages making up the next storyline for Bleach involving Kiganjou vs. Kenpachi round 2 .
We each had a retarded "sapwiize" moment in nearly every post but realy it just as well could happen !
-
yeah, sphyer is one of a cool guy in bleach forum at narutofan.. not a retard like zoom.. and he know how to enjoy his favorite manga..

! Ichigo however is vastly different. He's just a normal 15 year old high school teenage boy. Well not completely normal but still mostly normal in the terms of how he was raised and the way he lives his life. He has a more realistic look and personality that we can relate to better than those other two. He takes beatings and deals with numerous inner conflicts throughout the manga but he develops because of it. I think some people fail to understand that Ichigo is still a young kid who hasn't fully grown up just yet. He's a boy who tossed himself into the middle of 2 wars because "he has to". Why does he have to? Because if he doesn't then everything he loves will die. He has to push himself to keep moving on. If he fails then he will lose someone else…just like his mother. That's the life he has now. He went from being a normal kid doing highschool work to holding the world on his shoulders. Some people really don't understand the gravity of something like that.
! Aside from that burden though, protecting his loved ones is something that's deeply etched into his very being. Remember that he was a generally happy kid as a child until his mother died and that completely changed him. Sure he's grown up and moved away from the extreme depression of that time but now he finally has the power to prevent some one else dying in front of his eyes. That's why he would storm SS to save Rukia. That's why he would carelessly invade Hueco Mundo for Orihime. It doesn't matter how bad things look because he will go to the depth of hell to save the people he cares about. I think that's very admirable and I admit that It's a trait I respect about him. He's not perfect and there are times where he may loose himself but that's alright. He's still a young kid who needs the guidance of his seniors to help him mature into a stronger individual.
! One of my favorite scenes in this manga was when Ichigo was shitting himself after Mullet Aizen went to SS and was scared so bad that he didn't even have anymore confidence to go on. It showed just how powerful Aizen was and it showed that even Ichigo could have his own limit on how strong his resolve truly is. What makes that scene even better however is the following stuff that I'd like to expand on.
! The thing that made that scene amazing was what Isshin said and I'll never forget it.
! When Isshin told Ichigo to get ready to go, he could tell that Ichigo was clearly loosing confidence in himself and tries to remedy it with his usual fatherly love while telling him to get his ass in gear.

! What we see here is very interesting. I like to call it this moment "The Death of Ichigo". He goes completely back on his own principles because of fear. That is the despair that even Ulquiorra couldn't bring out. Aizen Sosuke simply had to stand in front of Ichigo with his new power to kill off all confidence in himself. The Ichigo at that moment was just a scared little boy who forget everything he stood for. That IMO was the worst state Ichigo has been in the entire manga. When your core being is destroyed then what's left? If I had to describe him right now then he would be the same little Ichigo who couldn't prevent his mothers death. A scared kid who has no clue what to do and eventually can do nothing buy cry and do nothing while someone he loves deeply dies. He couldn't even bring himself to remember that everybody he loved would be killed. His sisters and his friends! Even Isshin's headbutt (which is just to snap him out of his doubt) is not enough. You can't fix this with a small patch. So what happens? Isshin does something that has so much meaning behind it that I give Kubo a large amount of credit for this.

! http://www.haven-reader.net/index.ph…e=11&next=true
! I loved this moment for numerous reasons. The first is that Isshin literally understands just how Ichigo's mind works. He knows exactly how he feels and he knows what drives him. He then basically tells him something that was pretty tough to hear. Telling him "You gonna sit there and cry about how you couldn't protect anyone again!?". It's like he's saying "You're going to allow your mother to die again!?" Of course, It's not Ichigo's fault that he couldn't protect his mother and Isshin knows that also. Keep in mind that Ichigo felt like he was his mothers killer because of that incident. What he's trying to do here it to tell Ichigo that he wanted to become strong enough to protect what he couldn't protect before. That you can't act like a little kid anymore. That you can't be afraid anymore. You couldn't do anything back then but you sure as hell can do something now. This is Isshin trying to give Ichigo confidence in himself by using what the latter believed in and remind him with that powerful demonstration what needs to be done. Aside from that though, the line applies to Isshin himself as well. He regreted failing to protect Masaki that night she died. He never really hated Grand Fisher and killing him really didn't bring him joy. He cursed himself for not having his shinigami powers and protecting the thing he loved. Isshin understands Ichigo better than Ichigo thinks because Isshin felt the same about things. Isshin however is an adult and had years to mature himself and eventually could gain ground into developing his own firm resolve and that's why he can move on to fight. Ichigo is still a kid and he needs his seniors to pound what needs to be pounded into his very soul. That's what will make him strong. This is something I mentioned before also.
! He's still a boy who is in the middle of a war. He's a kid who now has the world on his shoulders. He has a huge HUGE burden on to take on now. He was even told by Unohana that nobody but him could beat Aizen for gods sake. That just puts pressure on him even more. If it were Naruto and Luffy then they would press on without problems but Ichigo has a more realistic depth to his actions IMO. Moving back to the Isshin and Ichigo convo though, the expression of Ichigo's face after Isshin said that line is powerful. It's his very being now shaken up and shocked because Isshin could hit his true feelings on the nail. Luckily, Ichigo also now remembers what he has to fight for and gains strength to go on again. Not only that but his core that was killed for that moment was reborn once again and fortified even stronger. That is true character development.
! Some people may fail to understand this but I sure as hell did and people who are too ignorant and simplify or not take Bleach seriously enough to figure this stuff out really have no right to insult the manga and It's protagonist.
! Wall of text but it had to be said. -
I think some people put waaaay too much thought into this series.
Trust me, Ichigo was a character once, but now is just vapid and uninteresting. He's so bland it hurts.
