WTF has Zoro to do with it?^^
He was implying that Zoro will match Sliver's strength at the end of the manga.

Great Minds…
Rayleigh doesn't even have a DF and is not in his prime. This is what Zoro will be at the end of this manga.
That's one thing I wanted to mention. I fuckin' love how Oda introduces DF's into his story but does not rely on them like one would expect. Basically I love the idea that Top Tier and feared characters don't all have Devil Fruits and that a Devil Fruitless character can strike fear in everyone with or without fruits….awesome. This was foreshadowed with Luffy (DF user) being captain and Zorro (Devil Fruitless User) being the first-mate.
I can't help but expect Zorro to end up to be the new Era's "Rayleigh"…
As you can see, I totally agree with you juju…and I am pretty sure that is what Oda has in store for Zorro.
Now that Rayleigh is confirmed not to have a DF...it throws all speculations, hopes, and dreams of Zorro getting one out the window.....for me.
don't know if anybody has posted this theory. there are some who think amazon lily might end up getting invaded and i think that is possible but the marine who will do it will be smoker. smoker is the most likely person who will figure out that luffy might be at amazon lily because of hancocks actions during the war. its important that smoker be the one who attacks amazon lily since he is the kinda guy who might leave things the way they are after he tries to capture luffy and lets hancock retain her shichibukai title. i don't think he will go to the top guys in the marines and tell them about hancock. if rayleigh really is teaching luffy how to use his haki then smoker would be the perfect opponent to teach luffy how to use his powers against logias. smoker still doesn't know about haki either so he can still become more powerful as well. perhaps luffy defeats smoker and shows that he has improved and can compete in the new world. smoker is not all powerful like the admirals so defeating him won't make luffy too powerful just yet. in fact smoker himself can still power up much more since he doesn't know about haki. if he gets defeated he might end up using that defeat to make himself more powerful and master haki. he of course would still continue chasing luffy and he would probably not tell anything that happened to the world government or the marines so hancock would retain her title.
Sigh

I stopped reading after this…wanna know why?
First read this thread then maybe you can answer that question yourself.

i ain't reading 70 pages. well at least right now. i might go through them during this week but not in one sitting.

thats a decent thought. smoker has that more of a vigilante role and would do something like check that out on his own. Though two problems i have with this
1. would feel like smoker got degraded down to being just the test dummy for luffy to learn haki. smoker is too cool a guy to be turned into something like that.
2. smoker's attitude towards warlords. there is no way he would just ignore what he ends up CONFIRMING on his suspisions on hancock. He would tell someone, whether the WG does anything about it is another story. But I can't imagine smoker who hates warlords more than pirates to just let it slide that hancock not only helped but is harboring luffy.
I'm sure at some point we will encounter smoker, and he may end up being our first Logia/Haki experiment, but I don't want it to be just some convenient show up while training and basically practices it out on him.
I doubt smoker would be leading any charge, especialy after getting his butt kicked by Hancock. He may not know how to use Haki but he is certainly aware of what it is.
I really want to see who, besides Boa supporters, want an AL arc now…
We had a war already, we already know AL so it would be nothin new besides showing Luffy's new powers and give Boa some reason to join.
But who wants to see it. i espect more than 90 % of this forum would find that shitty. After all this years the story should start to move on to the next island after the reunion.
I don't understand the Boa-supporters... just because of your love for Boa you really want to stay for the next half year on AL once again and don't move on FINALLY?
I want the SHs back and finally see some interacting of them_(No they aren't Rayleigh level and will cross the Calm belt without log pot)_
I want to see a new island and even more FI after all the hype and delaying which hapened
I want to see new faces and opponents. Really we had the biggest war ever with most of the faces revealed already and not a shitty marines attack at AL with faces we saw some chapters ago^^
If Oda really intends to let the bitch join, than please do it quick and give her a more fleshed out back-story in a slave-arc… But no war arc now once again jsut for her sake

I want Boa to betray Luffy like the woman scorned that she is. If this can be done in a few chapters as Boa realizes that Luffy doesn´t care for her while he trains, I´d love for her to betray Luffy to the marines so that he can have a glorious escape moment like with Garp's jumbo Flail.
This allows for AL to not be slaughtered, and there is no battle to drag things out. Also Rayleigh has to die.
Boa can´t join the crew, I´ll tell you that much.
^Another good alternative.
Killing her is still the best.

i think Zoro will be more likely the best swordman in the whole OP-world, instead of becoming a "dark king"^^
and it should be logical that zoro doesnt get a DF…he didn
t start with one and it`s more awesome when he achieves without a DF his goal.

I've said this long ago, especially after silver was shown to be gold rodgers first mate but he will also be known as the world strongest swordsman

You also said Zoro would crash the war arc, allowing Luffy and Ace to escape while he dueled Mihawk.
@JERK:

Lol - sounds like classic neomaster fanfic. Although I think you forgot the bit where Zoro then duels Whitebeard and Sengoku at the same time and wins with just one sword.

damn thought people would have forgotten about that
some theories work some not so well
but i still got some good theories which could still work out especially Zoro vs kuma part 2 in fishman island
but i still got some good theories
The problems with this lie in both your idea of the past and present state of these theories.
Semantics and not taking what the manga gives em.
Arlong Park.

This is actually the best of the english fandom too.
Calling it here: Sanji's next bounty will be a pic in drag.
that would be damned funny! (xcept if he stays in drag)
Ha ha I'd love to see that.
About what Chopper has read in the journal, maybe it was something like an admiral (Aka Inu for exemple), saying that he'll search and pursue Luffy to finish things with him personnaly …
Shakky's intuition is only rivaled by Vice Admiral Tsuru's intuition.
Who knows what she'll come up with while hanging out the washing…
Chopper is so shocked by the event that he says "not again"
most see a new bounty
I ll vote for luffy getting back in shaobondy and walk across St Charloss just getting out of hospital to trash his face
I just read something on an other forums about what Chopper saw in the newspaper and figure it was a plausible theory.
What if, it was the government telling the world that Luffy had killed Moria during the war? We all know that DoFlamingo "killed" him and the WG is covering it up. Add the fact that Chopper said "Luffy? Why again?" and…
Sorry if this has already been mentioned but just wanted to throw it out there.

Moria is alive and kicking..
Moria died long before he was killed.
I feel like there's already enough shit they can peg on Luffy that they wouldn't really need to put that on him too.
What is the point of blaming it on Luffy when they are making it look like he got killed in the war.

Hm a lot of people expect a bounty increase but honestly, the last time chopper reacted to a bounty increase he was disapointed his was only 50 beri. I doubt he would be so shocked by any raise in luffy's bounty.
Although horribly boring I think its more likely that in the first newspaper, chopper read ace was getting executed, and that in the second newspaper he read luffy got involved. Thus luffy would be once again getting involved in some major conflict (enies lobby, the tenryuubito) with a possibly horrible outcome
Sammsy you really have to learn that all of your Boa loving theories won't happen ant not everything is about Boa and her damn island^^
Really what annoying brat you are
I remember a certain someone who use to bash peoples theories about Sabo being alive by posting the same thing over and over and over like…like an annoying brat! Let people have fun with theories don't insult them...brat....

Well true that… but that was at least possible before the chapter with Dragon happened^^

That would be nice :-D
Also, maybe he did something really stupid/huge so that the news would spread, for his nakama to know that he is alive and possibly where he is/will be without taking the risk to stay near Rayleigh vivrecard.
This seemed pertinent.
what if the news Chopper read and freaked out over was Luffy defeating another Warlord? cough Hancock cough
Hell, what if the news Chopper read and freaked out over was Luffy defeating another Warlord? cough Hancock cough
I haven't read the whole discussion or the post you are replying to here, but I just want to comment that I still think that the "idea" of Rayliegh was nothing like training or something like that, whatever Chopper read was probably that idea being put into motion…
Now, I have no proof to suggest my speculation but I think that idea would involve croc, hence the "Why again" comment...
Anyway, this definitely isn't the right thread for it... where is the theories that don't deserve there own thread...
I'm sure Luffy'd be able to destroy Hancock. I don't think she'd put up much of a fight either.

I hope you mean he´d win because she couldn´t fight back, and not because Luffy could actually beat her in a serious fight.
Luffy would definitely give Hancock a bang or two.

and why not so much has not been shown of hancocks skill. i think it would be an interesting fight

I don't think that's an option, really. Rayleigh said, "You remember what happened on that island? […] Are you going to repeat everything all over again?" referring to Sentoumaru, Kizaru, and the Pacifista working them like children in a sweat shop. His response to that is some 'idea' he has, so there is little room for interpretation.
P.S. That avatar doesn't suit you…
I've always made poorly colored avatars out of annoyingly ugly characters from the manga, so if anything I'd say it suits me perfectly. I suppose I broke that mold with my own picture once, however.
I hope you mean he´d win because she couldn´t fight back, and not because Luffy could actually beat her in a serious fight.
I meant exactly what I typed.
Luffy "defeated" Hancock during the war, wit a mighty bear hug, folks. He already publically beat her.
I wish Wintergt would still be making recaps on various chapters…

If by "little room for interpretation" you mean we do not have enough information to speculate, I agree.
However, we do know two things, Rayleigh probably knows Luffy better then almost anyone else since he spent a considerable time with Roger who is said to be like Luffy on many aspects. Therefore, he may have came to a conclusion that Luffy cannot be trained, i.e. he learns by experience.
Second, Rayleigh knew he was sent to AL, he also knew he befriended Hancock, why did he come all that way to train him if he knew there was someone able to teach Luffy there in the first place?
Anyway, I am off to bed now, I will take up this discussion in about 9 hours… see ya!!

Excuses… I am sure winning the hottest male award has your family worried and therefore, you were forced to take down that picture and put on this weird "mask"...
Enjoy the next few chapters ladies and gents. I'll be back up to speed on or around August 9th. And now I think I'll go sit in a small seat where I can't stretch my legs or move my arms while stuck upright for 12 hours. Until then!
BON VOYAGE , Greg. See ya when you're back.
Probably too late, but I wish you a safe and uneventful trip, Greg, and hope you thorougly enjoy your vacation.
Have fun Greg. See around August 9th. :)

I certainly hope so, however it remains ambiguous to the reader outside of your brain, that being the reason why I asked.
"I'm sure Luffy'd be able to destroy Hancock. I don't think she'd put up much of a fight either."
It could be interpreted as you suggesting that Luffy could beat her in a straight up serious fight even though she wouldn´t fight him seriously anyway, or that Luffy would beat her due to her not fighting back very hard.
But more simple and to the point: Do you believe that Luffy as he is now, plus being healed and rested, could beat Hancock in a straight up serious fight in which she fights back with all her heart?

I know I'm new here and my opinion doesn't count much but. . .I don't think he luffy can beat hancock, I mean luffy couldn't even beat smoker. . .no couldnt even HIT smoker and Boa kicked his ass in less than a second. So …yeah maybe she doesn't have the logia fruit but seriously, if she can inflict that much damage on smoker, imagine how much damage she can to to luffy.
they just need to hurry their reunion cant wait till they see each other again
do you guys think that it will be the cliche that everybody of the crew arrive at the same time at shabondy and meet simultaneously?
