And at that point, Luffy after beating Big Mom and all the crew will get a higher bountie than Jimbei. And Oda only showed in the New World the bountie of NEW pirates who entered, we don't know the bounties of old pirates..

Why do people debate about Jinbei? He was basically confirmed to join during the Big Mom arc, which is at least 2 arcs after PH so if Sanji and Zolo are weaker than him( which I doubt) they can catch up.

Now Yonkou I agree with you, they won't be able to, but admirals I think they'll be capable of fighting, maybe not akainu per say but they'll def be admiral level, KI could see Kizaru fighting against sanji or zoro end story easy

To be fair, isn't it "Bon Kurei" and not "Bon Clay" due to the cover arc, but many people use the latter anyway? Viz and SJ Alpha both use Zolo, yes, due to 4kids, but there's nothing wrong with using the official North American translation. Likewise with a German saying Ruffy instead of Luffy. In none of these cases does it hinder communication and not all of us are native English speakers, so I don't see a problem with it.

That's most likely from german posters. That's mostly the fault of the localisation teams that changed the names. When you grow up on these changed names it may not be easy to suddenly change although basing it off on my personal experience it's not to hard either.
I'm surprised though that I've never seen someone using Lysopp instead of Usopp in the few years I've been lurking forums in general. -

I would agree that Jinbe's strength could have been a bit leashed to this point. But you can say that about every member of the Straw Hats.
Yes, I know Sanji just had his leg broken, but I seriously doubt he believed that would happen. He hasn't done anything in that fight to make me feel like he's really pushing his strength to the limit yet. I also don't want to overestimate a broken leg.
Well, the chapter confirmed that a broken leg does matter, since at least in the Manga Panda version Sanji admits that he can't go on fighting like this.

Though not her only weapon like the original Nami seemed to use, that old drawing of Nami did have a mechanical arm or leg, all of Baby 5's weapons could be in relation to that.
With her apparent dislike of Doflamingo and her apparent super strength and unique fighting style from the rest of the Straw Hats, just keep an eye on her!

I'm not ready to buy Baby 5 as a serious candidate yet. The only evidence is an emotional struggle and a neat fruit power. Emotional struggles are common, though, and that fruit power isn't all that much different from what Franky is capable of so far.

That was bad, if I had continued that fight..._It has an impact, sure. But I'll believe in a breaking point when I actually see it. This series has had far too many "just try to use that one more time and you'll be dead for sure" instances in which case they did it one/two/etc more times only to be a little more beat up as a result.
The big issue is that the injury would have limited him. I doubt he'd use the same leg to block again, for example, and he'd probably be slower. But Sanji also didn't do anything new and awesome, so chances are that he still had plenty of unused moves still in the bank.
Anyway, I don't remember how this relates to this topic.

So the latest chapter might have turned Kin'emon's biggest obstacle into a reason to join the straw hats. THe main reason it seemed like he wouldn't join was Momonosuke, but since Momonosuke has appearantly been turned into a dragon, I could see Kin'emon wanting to search the world for a way to restore Momonosuke. THis is pretty hypothetical at this point though since we'll need more details before coming to a stronger conclusion

Baby5 for Nakama just reminds me a year or so ago when people were hyped about three-eyed girl for Nakama. Seriously, sometimes you just need to sit back and not want to be the first one to predict something.
I do think Kinemon keeps getting more interesting and I am really glad the Momonosuke issue was finally raised in this chapter. Even if it made Punk Hazard more and more confusing.
Unless the "secret room" momonosuke walked into was the SAD production room, in which case we can start imagining what kind of madness could be soon released into the new world. -

I reopened it when the Kinemon theories started taking over so that they could be funneled into here. I don't give him much chance, but I recognize that a decent argument can be made for him.
Characters like Monet and Baby 5 are mostly just collateral damage, but that's nothing new for this thread.

Not only is it horribly outdated, but what I've seen is that every other page a new poster sees it and then feels the need to bring back up the whole deal about Jinbe.And no, I'm not asking for a new poll, I don't think it does anything for this thread at all since every new character seems to be potential for someone.

Well, to be fair, the last 3 to join started out this way. I doubt anyone seriously considered Franky or Robin potential crew-mates based on their first appearances.
That being said, there's a difference between "mysterious woman with her own agenda" or "minor side villain" and "Crazy Subordinate of a major villain"

I want to get a feel for the direction of this thread before I make a decision on what to do with the poll. That last poll was largely driven by emphatic and relentless support for the likes of Hancock and Perona. I'm not really seeing a cult following for anyone not named Jinbe at this point.
And really, there's disagreement on whether Jinbe is actually joining or not. I can't exactly make everyone agree with me. That discussion is better placed here than anywhere else.
