Why is everyone saying that the boy training is Zoro? I dont get what would be Zoro doing in Goa Kingdom, can someone explain me =S sory for beeing such noob XD
Cuz they're NOT in the Goa Kingdom. The txt boxes say that.

Let's just move on already past Sabo! We should be worrying what Luffy's gonna do CURRENTLY! How's he gonna get strong? What will come out of his own personal training?
One word (the one we all love to hear) .. haki.
There isn't anything in this chapter that changes anything. Please tell me what in this scene says that Sabo is alive? :
http://mangastream.com/read/one_piece/72772619/8Oda will probably have him turn up alive but there isn't anything pointing to it in this one scene, nothing at all.
EDIT: @Zik
Those trash mountain people clearly say, "How long are you gonna keep us waiting for?" implying that they themselves are in need of the first aid. So recork that champagne and cancel the celebration cuz the wait continues.
Aohige's trans was
Ivankov: You're late Dragon!!! How long are you gonna make me wait!?
Dragon: sorry
Ivankov: Oh….!
Crew: Hey!! treat him immediately!!

nooooo!!!! But it's OBVIOUS that Dragon brought back someone.
He was LATE!!!
Ivankov is surprised and call for help.
What would be the point to draw that scene if it's not for Sabo!!!
On topic
Finally I read the chapter and yes it was really nice.
Garp was the highlight of the chapter ( as always)
Dadan loved her boys, her tears were fun!!
Oda did good here.
I thought things were more conclusive than this.
And is it just me or does Makino look kinda like a bigger eyed Hancock?
EDIT: Ok Aohige's trans say him, well that's a hell of a lot more convincing.
Epic chapter Sabo definitely alive although theres isn't much evidince pointing to it:sad:
How did they save Sabo then <.< well nevermind its kinda late here and im really tirard, I'll see this episode tomorrow again and understand it all =D thanks admiral anyways

Going off what Aohige said it was Iva not the trash mt. ppl but I see why it would be convenient for your argument to say they said that and not Iva.
I find it funny they'd have that tone with their savior tho.
But hey Aohige can you clarify?
Is there a download link for the chapter?
Amazing chapter. Now we can see why Luffy actually wanted to become strong, and we can at least see some sort of past tragedy that lends credence to his conviction of wanting to be the Pirate King, as well as why he thinks highly of other people's dreams as well. If this leads to a slightly more mature Luffy, I'm all for it.
Also, I'm with the others. I don't really see anything convincing in this chapter that suggests Sabo is alive. He probably is, but nothing in this chapter is sufficient for evidence.
Is there a download link for the chapter?
no. I think it puts too much load on server when coupled with everyone reading big 3 (today 2) online.
also no one else is allowed to make one.
nooooo!!!! But it's OBVIOUS that Dragon brought back someone.

He was late from coming from the town to get rations and first aid, or do you think that Dragon stayed behind at Goa Kingdom while Ivankov and the trash mountain people sailed off with his ship to Zoro's village and he somehow shows up there later?
Is there a download link for the chapter?
I think they haven't made one. It should be up at this address like every week but it's not:
http://mangastream.com/download/one_piece/72772619
(just replace "read" with "download" to get to their download page)
Maybe they'll add it later..

(looks at pic) Somehow I see a bit of "Chp. 0 Hancock" in Makino now. Then again…it's weird looking back at her "chp. 1 appearance" all this far along:
Chp. 1: http://img-c.onemanga.com/mangas/00000002/000127742/48.jpg

If Aohige's trans is how that scene is really supposed to go then I buy it, but if it's just Dragon being late and the trashies wanting some first aid then there isn't anything conclusive yet.
You're fighting a losing fight there, dude.
First, the same frigging day that Sabo was shot down, Dragon leaves his crew and Ivankov to go do something.
He comes back late that night, Ivankov states he's late and making them wait, then notices he brought someone with him.
The crew rushes to give that someone first aid.
OMG IT'S NOT CONCLUSIVE NO PICTURES IMMA IGNORE THIS MASSIVE HINT
It's so bright and obvious, I don't think this even counts as a hint. It's like a hint with a 50,000 luminescence LED Neon lights blinking.

Why would they want first aid urgently the second Dragon arrives? Can only be for someone Dragon brought along. And that can only really be Sabo.

They're sisters and they both love younger men that have D. in their name.:ninja:
pic 2
Narrator: Going back a few….
The night the Celestial Dragons ships arrived at the Kingdom of Goa....Child: Did you see earlier today? Huge faced man!! Look over there, even their ship is huge
Child lifting a boulder: 580.... 581Narrator: A small harbor village somewhere in the East Blue
Ivankov: You're late Dragon!!! How long are you gonna make me wait!?
Dragon: sorry
Ivankov: Oh….!
Crew: Hey!! treat him immediately!!
Dragon: What about food?
Crew: The village was kind enough to share us some.Dragon: Let's set sail then. We're returning to Vertigo!!
Weeeeeeeeellll…. I wonder who they found severly injured on the night of Tenryuubito's arrival?
I think some people are about to eat their words!
No, read the script again.
**Ivankov and co were waiting for Dragon on an island somewhere in East Blue… which probably happen to be Zoro's homeland.
Dragon caught up with them finally, and hence Iva's you're late! don't keep me waiting! rant.Dragon probably stayed behind, saved the near-dying Sabo, and then caught up with his ship.**
It's hard translating when I'm laughing my ass off at cough mysterious injured person Dragon brought aboard cough and the possible storm about to hit AP as a result.
Now Aohige gives his opinion after using some logic to deduce what exactly went on in the dialogue between Dragon, Iva, and what the crew says. So maybe some of you disagree with his deduction but unless you're saying he's wrong about who said what or he says he was wrong stop concocting these other made up scenarios that are a huge stretch.
Treating ppl on the island the next day instead of on the ship while sailing to the island? Pssh.
That was a great chapter. Some more epic luffy faces for avatars.
The with boulder is probably Zoro and the other one with sword probably Kuina, still not sure though.
In the end, a good flashback. Now for the SH reunion.

Yes… It's them...
Nice to see Sabo turned into a Revolutionary, comes right with is dream of freedom. "Sabo is alive" group, wins.
man this chapter is the best of all the flash back..
it shows luffys first gomu gomu no pistol … and the ending its quit romantic.. i loved it... a man has to recognise his weakneses and over come them .. luffy have faith in your self...
… about that person freeing robin as sabo. Rest of dragon's army have similar hats. so it not necessarily him

I just misread who had the spiky speech bubbles, I thought the scene was Dragon arrives and the trash mountain people are upset that he was late and then are getting impatient because they were waiting on him for first aid and the "These are horrible" line was some injured trashies complaining. So you're saying that the spiky speech bubbles are Ivankov and then Ivankov tells the revs onboard to hurry up with the first aid and comments on Sabo's horrible injuries. Gotcha.
@Zik
You would treat people on the island the next day if you were short on medical supplies and considering that they were at Zoro's village to restock up on supplies you can see the confusion.
to the coverpage:
lol using the marine-sign for a mcdonalds one

Correct. Dragon's only line in that space was "sorry".
The complaint and the "oh..!" are Ivankov, and the following "tend to his wounds!" are the other crewmates.
You can easily tell because Oda used different fonts for three different people there, differentiating who said what.
BTW, the food supply indeed probably came from the dojo. The letter was too blurry on the spoiler pic to read.
Here comes the hordes of OMG!! Zoro's teacher was a revolutionary cell!! theories.

MarineDonalds. :ninja:

I have a suggestion for your review page, winter.
"It can only mean one thing…... Dragon saved Bluejam. Naturally. Bluejam for revolutionaries!"
So what now? A couple more chapters with Luffy, and then each SH gets their own chap making 600 the big reunion?
If Luffy gets two more, that takes us through 591. Then each of the SH's get one taking uss through 599.
It could work.
Even after the amazing war this flashback was so on the right moment, i truly love this chapter, small little details like Luffy saying he has other things in mind other than gomu gomu pistol, Luffy and Ace "countries" (And the later annexation of Ace's one to Luffy's, lol) Makino, Garp's beating (The second one on this flashback) etc…But i'm mo exited about finally returning to the present and how the heck Luffy is going to overcome the death of Ace.
roar awsome chapter as always , cant wait untill next week!
As I stated in my previous post someone's gonna say it anyway so I might aswell be the one. Could it be that the scene of Kuina and Zoro training was on that fatefull night directly after they've made their promise? Meaning the day before Kuina "died". hint, hint :ninja:

My first post answered that. It was right under your first post too. This chapter shows the moon is half full. Zoro and Kuina fought under a full moon.
i reeally don't want this to change luffy too much. him acting emo is a no no Oda. let him have a new view on life but don't change his personality too much

Oda truly does have an attention to detail.
It's really hard to figure: both Zoro and Kuina were really tough training addicts before and after the 2001st fight and it's still unknown how much time passed between the 2001st fight and Kuina's death. So…the verdict is still out.
We one piece fans sure are a passionate bunch.
"no he's dead" vs "no he's alive!"
"He's ALIVE!!!!!!"
and I'm doing this only once but haki haki haki HAKI!!!! @HaxeyeMihawk:
Oda truly does have an attention to detail.
I've come to notice this more and more only but it might be from comparing it to Bleach.
One Piece: 12442343 panels with 234234 billion things in each panel.
Bleach: One panel with Ichigo's face and a sweatdrop down his face… and white background.
@ultimateclima:

You're so mean. :cwy:
Just when I tought that it all worked together. You know, the girl that resembles Kuina that much being the loyal subordinate of the guy who wanted to capture a Whitebeard Pirate on first sight in Arabasta but never seemed to even bothered trying to capture Dragon at Loguetown.
Hmm… I'll give a crap about the full moon for now. :silly:
@RPG:
i reeally don't want this to change luffy too much. him acting emo is a no no Oda. let him have a new view on life but don't change his personality too much
He's not going to act Emo. If you noticed, at the end, he's not crying about Ace, but the realization that he's weak.
All this is going to do is motivate him to become unimaginably stronger. At this point, I seriously doubt that haki is the only thing that he's going to gain. The last time Luffy realized he was weak was when he faced Ao Kiji, he didn't lose anyone there, but he still knew he needed to be stronger, so thus came gears 2 and 3.
This time, he has realized that he is far weaker than he had ever thought, and to protect his crew he is going to create a new technique that will no doubt amaze us all the way gear 2 did.
So if anything, I say this is the same old Luffy we know and love, who will do whatever it takes to protect those he cares about. He's not emo. He's determined.
heres a dumb idea and if kuinas body was never shown maybe dragon is traveling to these islands to find someone with potential (I.E sabo and kuina) actually thats a dumb theory nm haha
Luffy needs to get better in general.
Not just in regards to Presence.
Aohige's trans was
Ivankov: You're late Dragon!!! How long are you gonna make me wait!?

Do we have a Raw? Can I see it? Or can someone (Aohige?) post the actual Japanese for that bubble.
Because I can't make out the bubble entirely on the spoiler pic, the Kanji is too blurry, but I can see enough to see it doesn't say "Aitsu", "Ano Yarou", or "Ano Otoko".
From that, I don't think "Him" is actually in the bubble. I can make that much out at least, though it's possible one of the blurry Kanji is something.
Someone give me the actual Japanese, or I'm not buying it.
Their ship is clearly shown to be at Zoro's Dojo in the first panel BEFORE this is said, so that would mean that Dragon was so incredibly late because he was rescuing Sabo, and then he had to go from that Island to Zoro's island with Sabo before meeting up with his crew.
Great chapter, and the flashback was nice, boring at some moments but nice.
But this chapter delivered the best panel ever
It cracked me up !
Well, that's the end of one of the best flashbacks ever…
Just when I tought that it all worked together. You know, the girl that resembles Kuina that much being the loyal subordinate of the guy who wanted to capture a Whitebeard Pirate on first sight in Arabasta but never seemed to even bothered trying to capture Dragon at Loguetown.
Don't tell me you wanted to associate Smoker of all people with the Revolution?
That's just wrong.
It cracked me up !
Darkstorm would like this one.
Don't tell me you wanted to associate Smoker of all people with the Revolution?
That's just wrong.
Well of the marines most likely to have switched Allegiances by the end of the series, I have to say he's at the top of the list, right along with Coby, Helmeppo, Garp, and Ao Kiji.
@Tokoro:

Nope. Zoro clearly blamed her to have died after having made the promise the day before. Here's the quote from Stephen's Scripts:
"Dammit!! You made a promise with me yesterday!!! Are you running away from that, Kuina?!!"
Don't tell me you wanted to associate Smoker of all people with the Revolution?
That's just wrong.
Why, it's not like he isn't the rebellious kind that doesn't like his superiors take on justice. I totally see him sympathisize with Dragon if he'd be convinced that Dragon's sense of justice corresponds more better with his own then his superiors sense of it. :ninja:

It's not, Demon Rin, but you should know by now. With all the fiasco this SAME EXACT PROBLEM caused people to mistake Dadan's sex or Sabo being name or thing.
You can compose a sentence without the pronoun in Japanese, but you can't always do it in English.
Only thing that happened there was Iva noticing something (Oh…!) after Dragon replied and the crew hurrying to get first aids to tend to (someone he/she/it wounds).
Unlike those first two times, I think it's pretty stinking obvious what they're talking about. You know, SOMEONE'S obviously hurt.
I hate shit repeating.
And he may not have stayed behind at Goa, he may simply have left the ship "brb" but took a while to get back obviously due to Goa Kingdom being on another island.
It still makes perfect sense sentence wise. Ivankov: You're late! (as in, I thought you'll be right back!)
Woah, what da powerful chapter. Starting here One Piece is becoming a soap opera, One Piece is becoming deeper as well.
Oh an One Piece had the first hellucations in the series, we saw a shadowy figure of Sabo and the boys who knew that he was dead ended up talking to him as if he's still alive but they really only saw a rock. Man Oda, keep this up, I would love to see you develop this even farther.
wow, a really awesome and amazing chapter! Oda you're brilliant as always..
and also my theory was right:ninja:

About the moon, you know, Oda could always make a mistake. I don't say anything, but we should look it up when volume 60 is out.
And still no download link? What, I will have to save all pages like a noob while reading?

Nah, all that I understand.
It's just that Smoker isn't cool enough to be a Revolutioner.
I say he will join Dragon's cause when the latter become World's Emperor.
