He covers the world in darkness, make it quake at his presence, maybe his last or first fruit was a mystical zoan inu inu model : Cerberus. ( three headed dog of Hades) A common theme in literature dealing with Cerberus is that a human overcomes him and gaining access to the underworld. Somebody like Blackbeard has enough will and strength to pull of such a feat. I mean he gains the power of the Underworld ( Yami Yami no mi) and now he has the power to destroy the earths surface ( Gura Gura no mi) . We all know Marco said he a strange body I wonder what did he mean by that.
Actually, for the zoan I was thinking something different. He has the power of the Underworld (yami yami) the power of 'earth' (gura gura), maybe now he needs the power of heaven?

Sounds weird to me, why show all the other shichibukai except her? She hasn't been around since Whitebeard split the island and she appeared to be running somewhere.
Kizaru is an admiral, we saw the other two this chapter make their presence felt, but he has been gone for a while.
They`re both supposed to be major players in this war, just seems like he has something planned with at least one of them.

I don't know that Kuma was shown either since there were multiple of him in the panel. It was likely just pacifistas. Technicality, I know.

In the past chapter, I mentioned that Blackbeard still did not shock the world by killing Whitebeard. That he still needed to do more and some of you said he did enough to shock the world. Told ya, it wasn't complete yet. I thought he would go kill Sengoku to shock the world but didn't expect him to absorb Whitebeards power too, Now he has truly shock everyone.

To be fair, Rayleigh was the first mate of Roger's crew. With all the people like Squad there fighting for Whitebeard, it's hard to imagine that he'd be welcomed to the fight with open arms. Accepting his help would probably cause some people (like Squad) to feel betrayed. The war was Whitebeard's fight, not Rayleigh's.
Anyway, I must say that I'm impressed with this chapter. Blackbeard's show to shock the world definitely lived up to its promise. It did so using some foreshadowing that Oda has been putting in place for a while, while also managing to be different from any predictions that I saw. On top of everything it else, the chapter does a good job at molding Blackbeard into a real villain. The unsurmountable intimidation factor is starting to manifest, and it's getting the average reader to start really hating him.

That has more to do with the scenario where Ray actually shows up to the war. He didn't even bother to and if he did I see no reason why he couldn't pull a Croc and kill any WB pirate or NW ally that got in his way. Whether WB allowed him to help or not is irrelevant. Aint like they all felt bad or sighed in relief when Croc saved Ace's life when they couldn't.

Isn't it possible that maybe the 3 skulls could be Oda referencing the goddesses of "fate" in greek/roman/norse mythology? Seeing how Blackbeard's entire crew works on the beliefs of "fate", this isn't too far a stretch....well, that's how I see it anyways. Definitely a better explanation than Blackbeard being three different people, but who am I to say anything. I could be wrong for all I know... until Oda says so, no one's right I guess...

I think it was meant to be the same thing in the end, Kuma is all machine now. So, he did show him in some respect, not like Kuma would have given a different reaction from the pacifista. I just don't think it's coincidence that he left her out of the panels that show the existing membership, and she's been missing ever since that one panel a few chapters back.
I hope Sengoku finally does something other than gritting his teeth and popping an erection over his enemies abilities.

The three heads being the three heads of fate has been the best theory in the past around here. That doesn't mean that its meaning can't extend beyond that, though. I think the two powers is where it will end, personally, but I suppose the theory of a third is plausible enough to give credit to. However, if he does get a third, it may make all the talk about him having two lives and whatever lose all meaning as far as I can tell. An explanation from Oda about what makes his body so special would go a long ways towards this discussion.

Yeah, that is a good question. Maybe he just wasn't thinking of them at the time. The Revolutionary Army is enemies with the World Government and so Teach probably figures he won't have to deal with them at the moment.

perhaps he didn't consider the revolutionaries to be a big enough faction to be mentioned. Like little ants crawling around on a giant. Sure the ants can be a pain in the butt…but the pirates and WG are bigger factions at the moment.
Anyways, now that BB is more or less confirmed as the final villain, it will fall to Luffy to defeat him. When does this inevitable confrontation take place? On or near Raftel I'm thinking, with One Piece at stake. What could be more epic for the final arc of the series? If BB gets the One Piece, the world will be ruled by him, and Luffy has to stop him.

Yet, the difference in power levels between the two crews puts SH's significantly lower at the moment. SH's need multiple people at the level where they would be imprisoned on level 6 in ID. What an insane crew BB has collected.

But, some of us are actually thinking maybe there is another "hidden meaning" underneath. (Which I personally still doubt it).

It really looks like Jimbei could join the crew at this point. His dream could be to carry out Ace/Rogers will. I da know, but it doesn't appear to be impossible. It's just odd Ace would say please take care of my brother, unless he knows for sure Luffy and him would cross paths, and that he truely wants Jimbie to be with him forever.
