Whitebeard's entrance was so epic. I'm wondering is if his backup is enough to take on the Shichibukai and the whole Marine force thiygh. I just can't wait till the next chapter.

My money is that Whitebeard will be killed by a wound inflicted by Blackbeard, and I would like for some of the Shikibukai (Jimbei, Kuma, Moria, Crocodile) to die, as well as Akoiji and Garp, all by the hand of Teach, just to plant himself as a new World Power.
But.. this is oda, I would only bet in the first one.

The said person tells Luffy to behave himselve as he would be living with "these people" from now on.
If he were Dadan, he would not have talked in teh third person about Ace and himself (he would have said "us" instead of "these people").

as for 551.. any other cameos besides who we seen now?
and something from way back in the arlong arc make me think ..
wonder if more about Jinbei and Arlong will ever be revealed?

Tel them they're idiots from me. After spending half a chapter slowly going through the implications of Ace being Roger's son complete with flashbacks and everything it means and everything it has caused, Mr. oda's gonan throw all that out with a turn around "Whoops, gotcha, Lufy was roger's son after all!!!"
Also it makes no sense as Luffy and Ace didn't meet until Luffy was 7+

Please. The 20 month + pregnancy (deus ex machina for now) could've easily been an extra 2 and a half years so Luffy could be his son instead of Ace.
Until how she was able to keep a baby in her stomach for that long is explained to some extent. The baby could've been any age lol

oda won't kill anybody, but people will get beat up pretty badly. the most we can expect is near death.
I know Oda has a track record of keeping his series death free, to the point where he'll make side stories to make sure we know that no one has died. Hell I even read the interview where he said he doesn't want death to be part of his stories because it leaves a dark cloud over the series.
But the reason why I can see Oda killing someone in this arc is because the man is full of surprises, and that death (whether it is Ace's or not) could be the turning point for this series as the Strawhats must venture into the New World.
Iunno, all I'm sayign is I doubt Oda would back out after putting the stakes this high, at the very least there will be some crazy gamechanger for everyone.

The fact that Garp, the man in the suit, is telling Luffy "you're going to be staying with these people so be sure to get along." is a fairly big hint unless Dadan has a major speaking-in-third-person problem.
