Man. Cell and Frieza got such savage lines lol.
Also I lost it with that dialogue from 16 about wantung to kill Goku still not making them friends. "IM TRYING!" Lol.

Not matter how many times I replay it, that Trunks impression just slays me.
Also, love the remix of Hikari no Will Power.
Go! Unreasonably buff bird!!
16's side commentary is the best. I sure am going to miss him when his time comes. Why must their best characters be the ones that die?

I think we all know who's going to say "I am hilarious and you will quote everything I say" in DBZ Kai Abridged 3.

Those little Cell-Android 16 interactions are becoming one of my favorite things about their adaption of the Cell Saga.
I'm so glad they figured out how to make Cell actually cool and interesting.

Haha yes. Also calling Trunks an overly buff bird lol. He's been growing on me.

16 has had good lines, but only in reaction to others. He hasn't quite been Nappa/Guru levels of fun on his own.
Cell is really gonna shine when it comes to Cell Games lines. (we're so close to Mr. Satan!)
And Gohan…..whoo, boy, I'm excited for his transformation.
Solid episode, better than the film they did recently.
16 has had good lines, but only in reaction to others. He hasn't quite been Nappa/Guru levels of fun on his own.
Both Nappa and Guru had people to play off their entire time though. Until Perfect Cell rolled around, Android 16 was stuck with 17 and 18 whose reactions to his lines just haven't been as funny as Vegeta's frothing rage at Nappa's stupidity and Nail's stoic suffering at the hands of SuperKamiGuru.

He's had a couple of his own but I agree, he generally plays the awkward straight man rather than hapless man-child or deranged sociopath like the other two. It's a more subdued role.
Personally my favorite Season 3 character was Imperfect Cell for sheer creepiness. Can't quote him out of context though
@Cyan:

I always liked Perfect Cell, compared to other DB villains.
He never wanted to conquer the World or destroy it out of spite, he even stopped caring about his original goal of killing Goku. He simply wanted to have fun figthing strong guys (blame it on the saiyan DNA mixed in)
In fact he was as nonsensical as the main cast.
Can someone please explain me Vegeta's android counting.
I do get he mocked Trunks all the time but in the android 13 movie he said it makes 8.
But actually it has been 7 unknown androids. Or is he mocking Trunks again?

There was a discussion about this earlier and I think the ultimate conclusion we came to is, no, we can't really say with any certainty how Vegeta's counting in the 13 movie works, and TFS may have just goofed.
To me, the most likely explanation is that he's counting all the androids they've encountered so far (19, 20, 17, 18, 16, 13, 14, and 15) minus Cell, since I think the movie implies that they hadn't encountered him yet (even though Cell had debuted in the prior episodes).
Well could be this way as well.
But this would contradict his counting after Cell is shown… There he mocked Trunks "DO I HEAR FIVE" adding one number expectin a new one to come
Well, maybe you (he) can count Cell x2 (present+futur).
One of the commenters on the movie's thread gave this explanation
@Spiritnova:
There seems to be some people who are still confused about the 8 androids bit, so I’m going to explain this as clearly as I can.
Trunks came back in time to warn the group about two androids. Then it turns out that there are more than two. The entire premise of the joke is that Vegeta is keeping track of all the androids EXCEPT 17 and 18, because those are the only two Trunks knew about.
The gag starts in episode 38, when they find out about android 16. Vegeta quips that “I’m pretty sure that’s three androids you’ve missed, do I hear four?” The three he is referring to are 16, 19, and 20. 17 and 18 are standing right there, but he does not include them, nor does he add them later. The “do I hear four” part is him asking “is there a fourth you don’t know about?”
In episode 44 Piccolo tells them about Cell, explicitly referring to him as an android. Vegeta then yells “DO I HEAR FIVE?!”, essentially asking “is there a fifth Trunks doesn’t know about?”
Then you have this movie. The line would be more accurate if it had been “that’s seven, do I hear 8?”, but that doesn’t flow well and isn’t nearly as funny as what they came up with instead.
So the final count is 13, 14, 15, 16, 19, 20, and Cell. There is no eighth android, it’s a hypothetical. The line is just phrased in a way that’s a bit confusing without remembering previous context. So the count could be shown as:
Number of androids Trunks didn’t warn them about + 1.
I hope that clears things up.
…Holy shit, Dr. Briefs' cat comes off?
I actually appreciated a lot of the character interactions here - everyone talking about when they died, Chichi's protection of Gohan being played seriously and not just for the sake of it, and Vegeta being his one-up self like usual.
Can't wait for the Cell Games "How did all of these squares make a circle?!"
DBZA is really making me enjoy all of Cell's casual brutality now that he actually has an entertaining personality to go with it
Man. They've really slowed down the pace lately. I mean, this was 15 minutes long and they only covered one episode (well, one DBZ Kai episode anyway).
And I'm…conflicted on that. On one hand, this was still quite a good episode and we got some really nice character moments, but...I also wish we could move along a little faster.
Yeah but it was the entire assembled cast dressed casually characters lounging around casually in a way we won't get again, including a bunch of guys that just flat out won't show up much from here on out like Roshi and Oolong and the Briefs family. I don't blame them for taking advantage. They'll presumably speed through most of the filler and move the actual Cell battling along at a decent pace.
I'm fine with a 1:1 ratio when it calls for it, they've certainly done it before. Far back as the HFIL, Saiayan Training, Princess Snake and Prison Bitch Vegeta fillers all taking a full episode despite being one offs. (While they simultaneously ignored a buuuunch of the other filler episodes there.)
As long as its funny! And well, the nature of the plot has left them little opportunity for that laterly… but hey, Satan is coming. Hopefully he'll be the gold we're all hoping for.
I am curious to see i they ever get back to Raditz or Launch though.
Best episode in a LONG time. I'd been giving up on it recently, but man that was the good stuff.
Who else does Krillin mean with mentioning Gohan is 3rd strongest?
Goku and? And actually funny if at this scene he can't know how strong Gohan has become

My guess is either Trunks or Piccolo
My guess is either Trunks or Piccolo
Piccolo makes no sense cuz at the time he already was far weaker again…
Actually same goes for Gohan and Goku cuz they haven't came out of RoSaT
How the hell did Cell beat Arale?
Cell ?
And it still makes no sense… Cuz at that time Vegeta Trunks adn Cell are the top 3 with no one even close to them

Krillin knows Goku, and he knows that when Goku steps out he's going to be the top again. He's going by general lifetime experience, not the last couple hours.

And still makes no sense about Gohan. Cuz Gohan not even once was stronger as Krillin that he can think that
Gohan's been stronger than Krillin since Raditz. And he saw his strength at length on Namek.
Even still, it's a bit odd. Either Krillin is excluding some people from his mental list or he's expecting Gohan to leapfrog Piccolo, Trunks, and/or Vegeta despite Gohan never going Super Saiyan before and spending the same amount of time in the chamber as Trunks and Vegeta.

My mistake I mean stronger as Vegeta and not as Krillin.
Krillin can think about Goku being stronger after RoSaT out of experience but Gohan makes no sense
I'd assume in general Krillin would be referring to Goku, Piccollo and Gohan… as the guys he actually gets along with or has history with. He was being very casual with the remark, in terms of not just power but also personality and a willingness to rise to anything. Pooooosibly Trunks instead of Piccollo since he just saw what he could do.
Cell is a threat to be destroyed and dealt with, not just "A guy I know". Vegeta he'll acknowledge is strong sure, but he doesn't like him or think of him fondly. Otherwise you start getting into powerlevel semantics and you have to include all the androids and Frieza and whatever else.
"He's one of the strongest guys I know and will save our butts in a fight when the cards are down" is what he was saying. Vegeta... is only out for Vegeta. And has actually pretty consistently lost every fight he's in regardless of his actual power.
He's not a scouter, and the joke was meant to insult Vegeta.
Yeah. If you're using power as a metric, it doesn't really work either since Gohan's never been stronger than Vegeta up to that point.
"Oh, penguins -"
"WRONG"
Okay, just to be clear, because it's bugging the hell out of me, what did Vegeta mean at 1:20? I think he meant to say "How did you die?" right?
Also, Popo and Vegeta. So good.
It's obviously not TFS's fault but a lot of the close-ups on Goku reminded me how weird he looks as a happy Super Saiyan.

Yes, that's what he meant. Nappa killed him when he protected gohan.
If its anything to him, Vegeta would've buried him alive regardless.
Ha, there was that classic cartoon sawing effect when Gohan ate that meat slab.
But Piccolo, you did give Gohan his dad's gi.
Dang, Chi Chi!
Goku needed all that training just to avoid death by Snu Snu.
On the bright side, Goten was just conceived
Good to see another episode so quick after the last.
"ITS BULLSHIT"
"I think its pretty progressive."
