My desktop since, like, a year:
The strange thing is that, whenever I shut down my computer, shortly before the usual Windows "I'm now shutting down the system" screen comes up, my previously selected wallpaper appears. Without the task bar, without anything, just the wallpaper for about 5 seconds.
I never really change my desktop, but I do change that "second" desktop picture every now and then. Currently it's the 598 colorspread. -

Me neither, but I like looking at it when my PC boots up or shuts down. It's like my PC has a "face" that I can greet and say "good night" to. That's why I rarely change my desktop.
