I definitely disagree with you but to each his own. Personally, i think Tashigi would be FAR less cute without th e glasses and the bumbling. I definitely think she's meant to be the cute "meganekko" type character which is probably a big reason why she's like the most popular female minor character in Japan. Fanboys tend to be the types that dig chicks with glasses abit more than the average guy…
I dont like Tashigi's new character design as much as her old one, though. She looks like a generic sexy chick now instead of the cute and clumsy girl she's supposed to be.
I think Oda has gotten a lot better about giving his female character different faces and such. Most of them now look unique and if you were to see just the faces now without the hair or body you could probably tell who is who for the most part. Still not perfect though.
Oh, I agree. I just wanted to make a point. It's weird to say one girl in OP is OH SO HOT but another is just plain when they look very similar. Even now, from the waist down, they tend to look identical.

Tashigi is awesome. She's my second favorite female after Nami. I don't understand why there's so much hate for her in the west. And you're right about her being popular in Japan. There are almost as many Tashigi doujins as there are Nami ones.
