Sandersonia isn't bad but I blame the snakes for making this cover fruity. Come on, I'd expect Sanji's island to have rainbows everywhere.

I like the colors. Expected. This is probably one of my favorites. Makes Amazon Lily seem like a colorful paradise.
btw. Everyone that wants blond almost never gets it. I find it funny everytime someone predicts that color for hair.

And having read that, I believe that I've finally managed to forgive Oda/Shueisha for ending volume 52 with chapter 512 instead chapter 513.
I like this cover, it looks really fantastic, the bright colors go well. But as someone else pointed out in a different forum, the hat looks off, I guess Oda had some trouble drawing it from that angle, still the rainbow of snakes more than makes up for it. But Marigold's hair is a bit weird. Oda's recently taken to giving female characters very odd hair colors. I don't think he had anything more exotic than blue, and then suddenly Pelona has pink hair, and now Marigold's is green. I don't think I've ever even seen green hair on a female manga character before, except for Caimie, and that was just the anime, Oda may have had different colors in mind. He did by Kuma, for instance.
But the title bothers me. It seems like he's purposefully trying to call attention to the chapters with fan-loved information, but not chapter titles that encompass the theme of the entire volume. He did it last volume too, by calling it "Roger and Rayleigh", despite only about one chapter in volume 52 being about Roger and Rayleigh. The volume should have been called "Island of Carnage", and now he's done the same thing here. "Adventure on the Island of Women" or "Pirate Empress Boa Hancock" would have fit the Kuja arc much better than "The Quality of a King". It's not such a big deal, it doesn't affect the contents much, but I still hope that the trend doesn't continue past this point.

I think the cover looks amazing. Although i'm not a big fan of the color scheme of luffy's clothes. Should've just stuck him with his Shabondy outfit.

I think it has more to do with the pacing of the chapters recently. He got through Amazon Lily extremely fast only to have another "adventure" place in Impel Down for the next volume. If he continued to follow that pattern you want, he would have new Volumes that read like "Adventure on the island of Women" followed by "Adventure in the Great Prison". He needs to have breaks between volumes because of that or it would get stale. My hunch is he will do Adventure in the Great Prison for next volume title or "Hell to Hell" or something of that nature. There are just too many chapter titles as of late with "Adventure at" that he needs to find another title to keep things from getting stale.
Also in regards to this cover… Half of me is confused but the other half says its awesome lol. NEVER expected the Amazon Lily arc to have so much... color >_> That definitely through me off, but on further inspection I really like it just for that reason. Makes this volume really stand out from the normal cover mix, yet at the same time the colors really don't clash that much that would make me hurt my eyes. The animated version of this arc will certainly be interesting to watch now though lol.

You can tell Oda drew it in parts. The bottom on the pather tells it all. Probably looks bitchin' piece by piece.
Remember even 48 was pretty badass, it was Shueisha's choice of FUCKING TERRIBLE colors for the background that really ruined it.

The only thing that annoys me on the cover is Luffy's hat. It just seems like a rookie mistake that Oda's far above.

Although there obviously is something wonky with the hat, it is important to note that it has transformed throughout the series to look much more like the one on this cover than the one at the beginning of series. That is, larger, rounder, and with a more pronounced dome.

I like the new cover. Love the rainbow snakes and I think the color choices for the Boa sisters are really good. And it looks like Oda did a color swap with Luffy's shorts and vest. Well, it's…different.

The hat always looked huge on the covers, I think the main problem the receding hairline from a overhead angle.
Edit: Its a sweet cover still, I adore Oda's color scheme for Sandersonia.
