Using a controversial and ridiculous topic on a manga discussion thread? Really? Using great length's to attempt to disprove someone else's statement. That's just…. lame. You know as well as I do that in the course of APforums there have been hilarious and outright stupid topics within these discussion threads. I do love me a good DON! though.
Here's my edit:
I mean it's one thing to dislike the chap but comparing it to any other crappy manga(and that is what Bleach has become) isn't a sensible comparison. Bleach stretches it's crappy story line throughout chaps whereas this can be looked at as one bad chap in OP(given the person). So unless this chap or a chap was eerily similar to a Bleach I don't see how you can really compare it to Bleach other than you felt the two were equally bad.
It's like if you love it when the school cafeteria serves pizza on Friday's and hates it when it's crappy meatloaf on Monday's. Then One particular Friday the pizza isn't that great so you say it's just as bad as the crappy Monday meatloaf. It is not true or accurate, it's simply hyperbole in an attempt to make a point.
Oh and the absurd example proved my point, just because ridiculous discussions/arguments have happened do not make them the norm or widely acceptable.
And now I just indirectly joined the discussion….... Ahhhh what's that?!!!
Haki
Never thought I'd see Godwin's Law apply itself here.
I purposely did that though lol, it's because of that law that all of my hyperbolic examples might involve them lol. If we had let this discussion go long enough I'd think it'd be a little longer before it was brought up but it is accurate especially on the internets
