Actually the guy above, going off that one image anyway, is a fair bit better than the earlier artists.
There was only one guy before this one (Gogeta jr).
There are guests artists doing special filler chapters in between chapters because the release schedule is actually too fast to keep up with it since this is done on free time, but that's not really DBM and only exists to fill in for time.
And basically what I meant was that for people that don't like DBM, like you (that already stated it to be crap), I don't think you will be changing your mind on the subject with the current artist.

Yo! Dragon Ball Multiverse? I remember this comic back when YouTube was around. I kept seeing some art of DBZ characters in new transformations and I was like… "Did Akira made a new Dragon Ball show in Japan and I wasn't aware of it?" Of course? I now know that it's a fan comic of some kind. But it's very interesting nonetheless?
Also Robby? You do know that DBM was made in French, right? No joke! English is not even their first language. That's why some of their FAQ page are not very well structure. (Plus it's obvious that grammar isn't their best friend either?)
I just wanna clean things out just incase some people don't know about the spelling and writing in the FAQ and junk.
Plus anime is popular even in French. So I guess if that's the case? Than I would like to a One Piece equation of that in the future. Wish will be unlikely since… Meh?
-
I started reading DBM because I really liked the premise - which was revolving around one big tournament in order to give us some of these hypothetical fights which actually are heavily discussed in the DB fandom. However, unfortunately we're given way too less stuff we actually care for. The only noteworthy battle I can remember right now is Dabura vs. Cell.
The overall story is okay at its best points, but just cringe-worthy at its worst. Like another question we actually care for - how it was dealed with Babidi and Boo in the alternate timeline - was handled exceptional poorly. I mean, seriously, Babidi punishes Dabura and weakens him so that he can get beaten just contrivedly?
And the actual battle, seriously does anyone care even remotely about one more overpowered completely hypothetical fusion Saiyan vs. King Cold's completely hypothetical sixth form? How about giving us more stuff we actually care for? About fights that are actually discussed.
-
Ok that was awesome.
-
Goku using the Kaioken in conjunction with his new form seems oddly…...overpowering.
-
I love how Dragonball Super brings back all these dead techniques
-
This post is deleted!
-
Soooo… we have a Tournament set up by deities where Goku fights a characters that looks like a combination of one of Cell's later forms and Piccolo and, in the process, brings back the Kaio-Ken.
Boy, haven't seen that before!
-
Poor Vegeta has to learn it or he is fucked forever…
Well actually he is it all the time after all
-
Does anyone have a link to a manga website that has dragon ball super manga that goes past chapter 10?
Beerus = Beer Whys = Whisky Champa = Champagne Vados = Calvados
-
Why did they have to bring back Kaioken. It just raises more questions than it's worth.
Like why is Goku combining it with Super Saiyan Blue now and never before with any of his Super Saiyan transformations. Or how Goku can even survive that since Kaioken is supposed to do more damage when more power is used in the Kaioken.
Or honestly the most frustrating question on earth of WHY THE FUCK HASN'T ANYBODY ELSE LEARNED KAIOKEN. Goku and King Kai both really screwed the pooch on this one. If the argument is that human's bodies couldn't handle the strain of it, then Piccolo at the very least should have learned it. It's a plain and simply power multiplier.
You'd think Goku would have taught this to Gohan and Piccolo in the 3 years they trained together before the Androids.

sounds more like a retcon or goku was not smart enough to put them together before lol

Goku say it in the episode: because the Blue form is less risky than the other Super Saiyan forms where the body will be seriously damaged. Blue Saiyan gives him a more "calm" way to control the Kaioken so he can combine the two of them.
-
That is a bit overkill lol. I did love the Vegeta flashback. I Remember being excited the first time I saw that scene.
Holy crap I always forget how much I hate Goku's original voice. Gives me a headache from all the screaming.

I love that they explained why Goku had abandoned the kaioken after he became a super saiyan probably my favorite part of this episode.

Does dragonball super only go to chapter 10 since i cannot find a manga website with it going past 10 the manga would normally be ahead of the anime lol
Cabba vs Vegeta will basically be like this…

the tournament would have better with uub than buu he would actually been able to pass the test and it have made goku training him worth it and during the time vegeta could have gotten ss3 its still stupid that vegeta could do ssgod and not ss3 lol.

You see it's not an anime adaptation of an manga, rather it's a manga adaptation of an anime.

Given how stupid Vegeta would look like missing his eyebrows and long hair…....

Uub is like three years old at this point in the timeline. The ending of Z doesn't happen for another seven years. Pan and Bra aren't even a thing yet.
If you want Uub post training, that's what GT is for. Even though GT is pretty much non-canon now due to the Pilof gang being de-aged and all the new power up forms that didn't show up in GT.
-
It's a while since I saw GT, but wasn't Uub solely there to job and to hype the actual villain? I remember he had a little success before the jobbing, though.
-
So instead of something like SSJB2
We got SSJB Kaio-kenx10
So this could mean by the end of Super…
We could possibly see SSJB Kaio-kenx20 as Goku's Strongest Level and Vegeta will get Ascended SSJB (as in like the super muscle low speed SSJ Form between SSJ & SSJ2)
-
Monaca is like "OH SHIT IM FUCKED, now its my turn to fight that monster Hit".

How can Dragon Ball SUPER, that it's one of the most BELOVED and FAMOUS series in the world, have the WORST ANIMATION i have ever seen on television and ONE PUNCH MAN it's over 9000 in terms of greatness?
-
And here I thought for once Goku and Vegeta could actually be somewhat equal, fuck me right? At least SSB-Kaioken is awesome if not kinda broken lol.
How can Dragon Ball SUPER, that it's one of the most BELOVED and FAMOUS series in the world, have the WORST ANIMATION i have ever seen on television and ONE PUNCH MAN it's over 9000 in terms of greatness?
Because it's being drawn by newbies.
-
How can Dragon Ball SUPER, that it's one of the most BELOVED and FAMOUS series in the world, have the WORST ANIMATION i have ever seen on television
Because you haven't seen a lot of animation? It's a low budget modern anime, but its still superior to the quality of most of the tv stuff from before the digital era., far superior to an average production from the early 00's and definitely better than almost anything from the 90's or earlier, and far better than most american tv animation. It's all about persepective.
(ANd don't go pulling out "what about Akira or Cowboy Bebop or Ghost in the Shell?" Those are super high budget standalone projects, NOT the standard norm)
and ONE PUNCH MAN it's over 9000 in terms of greatness?
Because it was only 12 episodes so they knew exactly what to throw the money at, as opposed to something they're going to try and have run for years on end without break or source material to go off of.
The fact that its such a huge reknown brand name, rather than meaning they have to throw a ton of money at it to make it look great, is actually the opposite. Its such a known brand they can go cheap on it and it'll still do fine. It's not going to lose viewers for having only okay animation, and its not going to draw in a new audience either for having great animation. Same with Sailor Moon, One Piece, and Naruto. (Or Simpsons or Family Guy if you want to go stateside) Counter intuitive sure, but true.
One Punch man, given how good the manga looks, HAD to deliver on the animation because, honestly, there's not much story there. They had to match the quality of the manga drawings or everyone would just hate on it, so they rose to the challenge. For 12 episodes.
One Punch Man looks great, no argument, but there's a very specific set of circumstances around that fact.
-
I don't get the hate for SSJ Kaioken. It's stupid, but in an awesome DBZ kind of way.
-
All of the extended powering up, screaming, and style of the effect animation made this episode the closest of Super's to capturing the feel of Z. All the fight was really missing was the seizurific strobe flashing when Goku was firing the Kamehameha.
-
Man this was the best episode of Dragonball in quite a while

!
! > Goku and Hit's battle is exciting! At last, the conclusion is looming near, but are Beers and Champa getting in their way!?Goku and Hit's battle was thought to be at its climax but…?
Mutually accepting their strength, Goku and Hit's fight rises to a new height! But, there is a big handicap!! Since Hit works as an assassin, he can't bring forth his true strength unless "killing" is in his mind! It's a tournament where killing is forbidden… and that's when Goku makes a certain proposal.Another fight starts during the match!?
Beers -> Beers knows Goku is at an disadvantage in a deathmatch. He ferociously opposes a rule change!!
VS
Champa -> Champa approves of Goku's opinion. That's solely for his team's victory.Goku's the reason a quarrel started
Goku's well aware that, if a deathmatch is authorized, he'll be in a disadvantage. But, the desire to fight with all his power is what moves him. This week's Piccolo
Watching over a severely wounded Goku!Kaiouken's time comes to its limit and Goku drops to the ground! He is worn-out and can't move, so a complaining Piccolo goes to pick him up.
For some reason this is reminding me of Luffy vs Doflamingo, when Luffy couldnt move after using G4…
-
Man this was the best episode of Dragonball in quite a while
So true, I couldn't agree more! Just seeing Kaioken after so long gave me such a nostalgic boner! :D
Btw, I find Hit a very interesting character. He has such an impressive fighting style.

It doesn't have the worst animation ever but the fact that it's worse than most animes that come out every season is very shameful.

Its the same with one piece they don't need to spend as much money on it since people will still watch it one punch man is good but still new and as known as one piece/dragonball series.
-

You just provided your own counterpoint though. Dragon Ball Super, aside from the list of reasons Robby already provided, isn't seasonal. It's airing every single week. That's not a lot of time to work on any new episodes.
So bad animation? Sure.
Worst animation ever? Hardly given the circumstances.
-
People who say that Super (or One Piece for that matter) have terrible animation have obviously never seen real glories like Togainu no Chi or Musashi Gundoh. And those shows didn't have the excuse of being never-ending!

That's a moot point, imo. There's nothing stopping Toei from making Super a seasonal anime. If it's not it's because they chose not to do it, just like they chose how much money to spend, what people to hire, what story to follow, etc.
Other people making other animes had the same choices to make, including deciding the format of the anime, if it's seasonal or not.
In truth, all the teams and companies making anime are all in equal standing, and the format of the anime is as much of a choice of the guys making the anime as anything else that happens.
Toei chose to make Super as a non-seasonal anime (probably because they care more about making money than the quality of the anime, despite already having some of the biggest franchises in their pocket). It was their free choice and therefore the results of that choice deserve as much criticism from the fans as the results of hiring someone less qualified for the anime, of choosing a certain story for the anime, of choosing to not to spend much money on the anime, and so on.
-

I've heard of Musashi Gundoh but never the former now you've piqued my interest in /quality anime.

I dropped off watching Super since the Vegeta train episode….I know we're pass Freeza movie territory and onto this alternate dimension "it's like Multiverse but also not" arc....is it holding up?
I kinda figure it's just a Goku-Vegeta SSGod showcase now.

It's borderline
Out of the Universe 6 Fighters, it's like 2.5 of their 5 Fighters are good
.5 = Frost
2 = Hit & Magetta
Cabba & Botamo were pointless
-
what was good good about frost?
At least Vegeta vs Cabba looked alright and had that bittersweet ending with Vegeta teaching his pretend son some saiyan pride. -

-
He was still dumber than dirt and didn't even last a second against Vegeta as soon as the cat was out of the bag, also his fights against Goku and Piccolo are the worst looking ones next Botamo.
And the wasted potential of actually having a good freeza as opposed to a dull copy that didn't amount to anything.
Frost is a godawful character -

Frost is a godawful characterThe reason for the .5 is mainly cause Frost was able to hide his True Nature for awhile even from like everyone but Jaco & Vados and he was able to fight base form Goku & Piccolo for abit
He would have been higher if he wasn't like as you said a Dull Copy of Freiza.
I don't like Frost very much so..
Maybe I should say 2.2 of the 5 fighters from U6 are good

! #42 (08 May): “An Uproar at the Victory Celebration! Facing Off at Last?! Monaka vs. Son Goku” Goku and the other members of Universe 7’s team have safely notched their victory [against Universe 6]. But their victory celebrations are short-lived, as the Zen’ō (“Lord
of everything”), the individual(s) standing at the pinnacle of the 12 universes, appear(s) before them! And so the tale takes an unexpected turn.
! The design is ugly as hell. -
! I sense a team-up between Universe 6 and 7.
-
And now we move onto a Tournament with the other universes.
-
! The Super Dragon Ball dragon's basically a gold Blue-Eyes White Dragon.
-
The lack of epicness of the Dragon Ball Super it's incredible. Every episode is a fucking joke. How can Super surpass GT?
In 42 episodes of GT we got: Finding new Dragon Balls, epic characters, Krilin death, Super A18, Baby, SS4, Golden Monkey Saiyan, Buu death etc…
Shame...xD
