I HATE BIDDING kjdshfehjtopewjgdj
There's this module I really, really, really want to take so badly, more than I could describe. It's called Lab in Clinical/Abnormal Psychology, which has been my biggest interest since I decided I wanted to do psychology when I was like 13 years old. It's one of several Lab modules available, and as psych majors we're required to take at least one. AND I WANT TO DO THAT ONE SO BADLY. But people don't know how the bidding system works and are jacking up their bids and all of a sudden the minimum successful bid for this module is 1752 and I only have 1708 and I've already drained my account but I'm still outbidded and RAAHHHH.
I have two options:
a) Let myself get outbidded and try to appeal for the module after the entire bidding thing is over. But this is dangerous because the module is extremely popular and appeals are even more stressful and I don't know how successful it will be.
b) Jump ship and put my points in another Lab module. probably Developmental Lab. My friend's bidding there and she says the minimum bid now is 1 point. Might go up but it's still less packed than Clinical. And she heard that it's relatively relaxing. But I'm really reluctant to give up on Clinical.
NEXT PROBLEM
My appeal to start bidding for 6 modules at an earlier bidding round failed. This means I can only bid for my 6th module from Round 3, and I checked past records and found that all the modules I want as my 6th were already filled up by Round 3, and no longer even biddable. But the administration is like "oh you don't need to take 6 modules" and I want to KICK them because HELLO the records still have me at Year 2 because I don't have enough credits!! I WANT TO FIX THAT NOW AND YOU WON'T LET ME.
I could send another appeal ranting at them and telling them that I NEED to take 6 modules because I want to get on Honours track and for that I need a certain number of credits but WHY DO THEY NOT UNDERSTAND SIMPLE LOGIC.
Fishsticks.
