I just went to sleep at 3 AM

to go to a cardiologist to do some tests

I woke up at 4 PM (which is already pretty damn pathetic), went to the beach with some friends, went to the sh*ttiest bar in town and now I am here :-S

I'm back in Chicago for the third year in a row. Went to this Thai restaurant that my sister and mom love. I wasn't looking forward to it since the last time I ate there, I had this nasty curry dish. Instead, I got Bangkok chicken, which was damn good. Now I know why they loved it so much.
@Animesoccer:Are you kidding? I got out looking to get socked in the face. Leisurly activity ;). Are you his student, or did he just attack some stranger?
It was nothing serious. We were practicing how to do techniques for sparring, and the teacher told the two of us to go with each other. The guy was punching really fast, so he probably didn't even notice.

Anyways dude I think try to drink lots of liquids, go see a doctor if possible. Also if you can throw up do it, it'll help getting the contaminated food out of your system.

It's been a boring, shit-awful week. But I'm feeling a lot better now from 3 days of depression and fatigue.

[hide]On Monday, my best friend (aka my ex-future boyfriend) Oni (that's his nickname) was supposed to come over for a visit. I waited all day for him and he didn't showed up at all. I even called him 5 times and he didn't pick up the phone. On Tuesday, I called once more, still no answer. Wednesday night, I started talking to one of his buddies who I'll call Brit. She's Oni's friend's girlfriend.On Facebook, she told me that Oni is done waiting for me to go out with him. Well, it was his decision in the first place! He even promised to wait until I was ready to go out with him. Now his buddies are all against the idea of having him wait for me. I'm a religious person, I believe in courtship the old-fashioned way. I want to save my "dating virginity" for the right man. Back in the day, teenage boys waited for their girlfriends to grow up before dating them. At first, I wasn't even ready for a serious relationship. But one evening in February, Oni and I were talking on Yahoo Messenger. He told me he wanted to wait until I was ready to go out with him. Oni offering to wait for me was very surprising and I thought he would be the right boyfriend for me for sure someday.
But talking to Brit for a while helped me realize what a liar, a coward and a user he is. Don't ask me why, but all I can say is that he didn't have the guts to tell me he's tired of waiting, so he used Brit to talk to me for him. What kind of a friend is he, and WHY is Brit okay with this??
What's so great about him? She even tried to persuade me to go out with him. Hell, why? He has no self-motivation: He does nothing but play the XBox 360 all day, he spends too much time with his buddies. Everytime I call to have us spend time together, he always comes up with some stupid excuse not to. He hasn't even taken me out to dinner, plus he has no job, no car, and no serious plans for college. Wow. Some guy, huh? >_>
Well luckily, I'm getting over this situation. I'm glad I realized his true colors now and not until we started dating. College is my first priority right now, love comes later. Next time, I will find a man who's a bit more charming with a LIFE!
I won't be talking to him for a while until he has the guts to tell me his true feelings himself. If he does, we're just going to remain as friends. [/hide]

I seem to have become resistant to the numbing effects of vicodin, so my toothache and ensuing headache are now unbearable. The dentist couldn't give me an appointment before 4 pm so I'm just sitting here for 3 more hours in terrible pain, sweating, with the chills, and a fever. And I just vomited from the pain.

Pretty good. Worked as usual, the time's starting to go faster and faster which is cool. A guy I work with was showing me Microsoft Access which looked pretty fun to mess around in. Thinking of making a One Piece database with all the characters and stuff.

Decided to take College Algebra for the 3rd time this Fall since there's no running from it. The tuition went up by a hefty bit. Now I have to study like crazy to prepare for the class. The only thing that's going to stop me is money for the textbook. Hopefully whatever bit of money I manage to earn next week could help me.

I went to a park near my house to play a game called Ninja. I got there 10 minutes early and even on time nobody was there. A guy showed up about 10 minutes late and we talked for awhile while nobody was showing up. Then a girl comes and she's the last person. There were five people saying they were coming for sure, both canceled. Another 10 or 15 people said they might come. Nobody else showed up.
So us three just sat in the parking lot and reminisced about high school. I think it turned out better than if more people had showed up anyway.

I had a great night yesterday. Saw Cynic live with Dysrhythmia and Intronaut. Amazing show, with Cynic headlining. They played through all of Focus and some material from Traced in Air. Fantastic stuff. Later, I found Paul Masvidal, and started chatting with him a bit. I told him that their show was the last one I would see before going up to college and we talked about that for a few minutes and joked around a bit. He's a really great, down to earth guy. I got his signature on my wallet, shook hands and left. Really awesome.

The party was so fun. People were wiklling to play all the dorky games we thought of. Also, we played a game called Just Dance. It was actually extremely fun. It's one of those games that many people don't want to play because they don't want to look like a dork. But after they seethat even the willing people look like dorks, they eventually play it. We got everyone at the party, even the extremly shy Azians, to try it.
