Its one of his sword techniques. His DF is the Yomi Yomi no Mi, a Paramecia type DF which allows the user to come back to life after being killed.

Zoro is my favorite character and to me it is obvious that in fighting abilities Luffy>Zoro. Maybe in physical strength Zoro>Luffy but in fighting capabilities Luffy will always be a little ahead of Zoro. Sanji is also super strong but not as strong as Zoro. That being said:

They aren't power levels, Doriki simply measured a persons athletics. And it's not only since then that Oda used numbers to showcase a certain ranking within an antagonist group. During the Baroque Works saga we had the numbers in the agent names and during Skypiea we had the numbers in the survival rate percentage of the Priests trials. It's pretty much an solid element of One Piece for quite a while now. Only that it looks different in each arc where it appears.

Yes, but the percentages in Skypiea only shows the priests' powers in comparison with each other. The only type of ranking I approve of is the bounty levels.

Bounties are'nt rankings they are a measure of threat/annoyance to the WG.
And the only whole douriki was already said to be meaningless by Jyabura as it only measured physical strength and did not take into account the DF powers. I'm assuming it did'nt measure speed or intellect or other factors either. The whole point of that douriki nonsense was to hype up the fight between Lucci and Luffy

But what was going on in my head was that Zoro is either equal to Luffy or slightly under Luffy in power. Bringing in surface disribution and these real world points don't hold up well in this manga. Who ever screams the loudest wins! Unless you scream like a coward like Usopp and Chopper.

1: Luffy, this shouldn't even be disputed, Oda has made it clear
2/3: Zoro or Sanji. They are both immensely powerful, and so far it is unclear who is stronger. A hint may have been in Oda telling us the douriki of Kaku and Jyabura. they were 20 apart I think, and both were boosted significantly by their DF's. Arguments for ambiguity are that Jyabura had much more time to get used to his DF, plus Sanji seemed to have an easier time beating Jyabura than Zoro had in beating Kaku.
4/5/6: Robin/Franky/Brooke: Why? Countless arguments can be brought up that have already. If the opponent isn't too close in the start Robin can just break their backs/necks/limbs. Franky can pull out any sudden amazing weapon or upgrade, particularly after the island he was flung to, and as argued Brooke's lullaby attack could technically kill Luffy, who knows what other attacks he has got in him, it could be as versatile as Miss Golden Week's painting.
7/8: Nami, I put her here because I just don't see her being too effective in close combat, particularly with fast people. IMO only, she beat (Kalifa is it?) because Kalifa didn't take her seriously and provided her with a good chance. Choper can also give out a beating, but just hasn't sdeemed as effective so far.
9: Usopp since Oda somewhere stated this, though personally from experience I'd rank him above Nami for sheer endurance

Apparently you only remember the scenes with Kalifa taking a bath, and the one where she caresses soap around Nami. There was a lot of tactical moves with Nami, such as Mirage Tempo, Cyclone Tempo, and Kalifa was hitting air most of the time.
Luffy: He's either berserking or monkeying around. Gear 2nd increases strength and agility. Gear 3rd increases damage at cost of accuracy and evasion. Body parts inflated by Gear 3rd are very tough.
Zoro: Intimidation + strong attacks and defense.
Sanji: Strong kicks & combos in enemy weak points. Very quick and agile. Diablo Jamble can penetrate physical defense.

This is one of the best lists I've seen. Not because I agree with all of it (I don't), but because you just listed why they are strong, not why they aren't as strong as someone else.

Sorry about the double post he is not my favorite character, not by a long shot, but people have been dishing out like he will never get stronger, the island ODA placed him on shows that he has changed his mind about a lot of things, even for good or worse, or if people will be angry over them who knows.
I am interested in seeing luffy, usopp, chopper the most, that is it pretty much. I want to see them compared to Zoro, Sanji and brook, both appearance and skill.

He can still get alot physically stronger. Zoro and Sanji can like.. throw houses around probably at this point, Chopper will be a monster, Robin is hax and Nami will probably be about to shoot frickin' thundercanes at people so I don't see it being a big deal.
I think he'll end up with Herakles' physique, he'll be kinda strong but he'll be bulky and actually be able to throw a punch.. but it'll be mostly for defense. He'll probably have some new Sling thats he needs more strength to use but he's not gonna win any straight up brawls. Most of his power up will be survival tactics, gadgets and tricks most likely.
I know Usopp will get stronger otherwise he's not getting off the island. Like I said, relativity. Although I'm curious when Oda made that statement. Was he including Franky and Brook in that assessment? Personally I thought Brook seemed weaker than Usopp.

Why couldn't he remain weaker than them? Oda clearly considered them to be stronger than him Pre-timeskip and as long as they keep progressing with the rest of the crew Usopp can still evolve into a great fighter.

at most nami and usopp are tied, she had a rod he created that could call weather and cause thunder storms how effective would it be on top brass or VA or Admiral class fighters? None, when usopp gets stronger, it is only natural that he will be stronger than her physically , but in terms of power hers is not different than his, they are both died imo. She can get random enemies thunder bolted and usopp can fire fast and take out people, as much or more people.

Isn't it true they include the ship as apart of the crew? if so they have already hit 10, I saw two more crew members at most maybe even 3 more and temp crew members/people he and the crew are helping out.

And Vivi is not included officially as a Strawhat. She has the honor of being called a comrade but she decided not to join because of her country. Going Merry might have been considered a crew mate, but somehow I highly doubt that means we're not getting more crew mates. Technically Merry lives on, but he did have a funeral and all. So even if he's included, that still doesn't fit because Luffy wouldn't count himself when he says he wants 10.

Yeah it was her child hood dream to be a navigator this has to do with navigation and weather conditions, this has nothing to do with weapons.
Usopp made that weapon specifically for her though, I give you that, but regarding weapon and weather it does not mean she is over all more powerful than usopp, just because of navigation, that is a skill and it has/had nothing to do with the weapon he created.
She was begging him to create her a weapon because she was weaker than them and wanted to do more besides navigation, he really is not that weak.
If you want to include skills yes I'd say usopp and her are tied again, her navigation skills and his inventing skills, that was one hell of a weapon to create.
