So a random Mist ninja that stole a Byakagan eye meets Danzou once and instantly figure out his has a chakra similar to the Sharigan eye Shisui has. Yet not one of the numerous Byakagan users from Konoha couldn't figure this out considering Konoha was Shisui's hometown and Danzou's hometown. Lolz plotholes.

While defending Naruto leaves a bad flavor in my mouth, I have to disagree. Up until this moment in time, Ao hadn't noticed anything either, which indicates Danzou's lack of usage. It's the usage of the doujutsu that Ao notices, causing him to check with byakugan, and ultimately identifying the doujutsu as Shisui's. Which, as was mentioned, was only possible because he had fought Shisui and knew of the doujutsu. So as long as Danzou, knowing he is surrounded by such capable people, doesn't use the doujutsu in public…he is secret safe. Of course, this is all assuming the fragmented spoilers are accurate.

The only way Danzo isn't Madara is if Tobi lied about being Madara, in which case Danzo is still Tobi which is still exactly what we've been saying all along based on absolutely minimal information.
Can someone please explain to me what exactly would have been the red herrings between Danzou and Madara?

However, we are to assume that the transplant was incomplete to a degree since he is seeking out Pedochimaru's secret
