Next Admiral to Appear

Aokiji's appearance in the manga was really a turning point for the whole story, and I'm eager to see when the next one of the Admirals will show up. So, the focus of the thread is basically when you think the next admiral will show and which one it will be.

Personally, after Thriller Bark is done I would like to see Akainu show up. With Moria's defeat and Enies Lobby's destruction I'd think the World Government would send one of their powerhouses to deal with the Strawhats before they become to big of a problem to handle (like they are now with Kuma). From what little we saw of Akainu he sure seems like a coldhearted bastard that would pursue his prey relentlessly with the whole 'Absolute Justice' mentality.

So in short I think Akainu will appear after Thriller Bark has ended and be sent to deal with them, especially if Kuma fails in doing so (and he probably will).

I hope not. They're already severely weakened by Moria and Odz and now they have to either take out Kuma or get the heck out.

Even if they manage to take Kuma down, four tough battles in a row is a bit too much.

EDIT: Maybe after Fishman Island.

I don't understand

Both characters have had almost 0 screentime and it doesn't seem like either of them has a particularly higher chance of showing up than the other.

Well, Akainu did have one or two panels in Robin's flashback. However, I doubt any Admiral is going to face the Strawhats so soon.

I also think the next one to appear will be Kisaru. Just because we know nothing about him. Akainu is the typical "total justice no matter the costs" type of guy. He would not spare the Strawhats nor give them pause. Since we know nothing of Kisaru, he may not be so extreme (and, being called "Yellow Monkey", he may have something to do with Luffy).

Aka Inu's the one who blew up the ship full of civilians, yeah.

Ki Zaru's just the one with a stupid hat.

But, if I had to pick one to show up next, I'd say Aka Inu because mysterious ones are left in the shadows for a while. But I can't think of an instance where either would come up, unless they're constantly in campaigns against the Yonkou in the New World.

I believe Aka Inu will be the next one to appear in a full-body appearance.

Anyway, I'm betting on Akainu (Sakazuki). Something tells me they didn't show his face for a reason...

But Kizaru might show up soon. And I predict him either having a disease-based paramecium (Which would be incredible) or a Urine Logia (This one is a joke).

I actually picture Akainu having a gun type DF. Difficult to explain. Basically sprouting gun-like appendages from the user's body. Sorta like that Bosk Gran or whatever his name was, from FMA.

I dunno why, but Zelos' face in a couple of pics in this series brought Kimblee memories.

Anyway, I am a bit interested in seeing another Admiral, but what with Thriller Bark having gone on as long as it already has (for a short arc,) I say for now, bring on the Jimbei. Afterwards, I'm all for some Akainu.

I don't think we'll see any of them again for some time. at the very least not until this arc is over.

as for the akunai df. lava does click but then again that's too obvious to me. so I think oda will pull another one on us.

Oh, they're all just thinking elements matching up to color because of Ao Kiji's whole ice thing. They don't have any real proof.

Akainu seemed to take an interest in Sanji after the enies lobby bounty raise, but it might have just been because they couldnt get a decent photo of him.

Can anybody post that page again? I find it curious how they always hid his face, maybe he has similiar traits to one of the strawhats (sanji) faces.

i thought of the lava fruit for the red dog as well…i think hell be next to appear since we saw part of him already. and for yellow my first guess will be lighting so at first i thought enel? but the chances of that cant be too high.... i think the yellow monkey will be a real suprise and maybe related to luffy even with the monkey theme. dlo maybe oda arranged so that if red dog saw sanjis face hed go crazy or something....that would actually be a reason for him to have has sanjis pic messed up.

Totally impossible, in fact. Duplicate DF's don't happen and only one person can get one power from one fruit.

The chance for lightning is zero. Was it Akainu in that scene? I dont really remember. And why would he go crazy from seeing sanji? I'm pretty sure that was just a running gag with Sanji and the wanted posters.

well i meant oda could have something where hes like sanjis brother or some crap and that would have been a good reason for him to have sanjis bounty picture look screwed up aside from pure humor.

You're talking about the Marine officer who was asking Attach why he couldn't take a pic of Sanji, right? I highly doubt that was Akainu.

I don't think Akainu will take part in the story anytime soon, because he's linked to Robin. We just finished an arc that was based on the World Goverment's shady sense of justice and the effects it had on Robin's life. Akainu being the next major antagonist would feel rehashed. That's why I think he won't be an active character anytime soon.

He's probably my most anticipated One Piece character though. Pretty much sure he'll topple Moria as my favorite villain.

Next Admiral to appear will likely be Akainu, but it'll be somewhere down the line in the New World. I personally think they won't run into every representative of the 3 Great Powers. So I highly doubt they'll be running into Kizaru. We'll see him sometime in the future for sure, but I don't think the Luffy and co. will meet him in person.

They might not personally run right into him/them, but they'll play an important role in the end, I'm sure. If there's some kind of serious event with the Marines doing a lot of fighting, the Admirals, of course, would have to be there.

Besides, Garp (as it appears) was more than likely the former Akainu before Sakazuki. The hints to that are more than obvious.

I think that he will be the one that changes the tone of One Piece to little bit darker. Or I hope so. And he seems to be that kind of person who would chase strawhats to the hell and back.

There's no denying he'll be involved with whatever is going to happen since he's one of the big guns of the Marines so yes I'm agreeing with you there. I just don't like the idea of the Strawhats running into every person. Like how some people think they're going to run into every single Shichibukai. Honestly I don't see that happening. Besides seeing these guys i.e. other Shichibukai, Admirals and Emperors go up against any potential foes will give us some great fights that don't have to be centered around the Strawhats.

Plus it'll give a sense of worldliness since it could show that things still happen in the One Piece world even though the Strawhats aren't there. Kind of like the cover stories and those in-between chapters shows us what other characters are up to. It's obvious the Strawhats will be in the center of the action in the climax of the story, but surely everyone else will be doing their own thing also. Showing that the world doesn't revolve solely with what Luffy and co. do.

She's 28. She's been running from the WG since she was 8. She joined Baroque Works 6 years prior to the Alabasta Arc. Vivi joined it two years ago, when she was 14.
