Rebecca can be useful in the fight without being get hands bloody. She could, for example, fight to chain Diamente up with Law's seastone chains that are lying around. It would be infinitively better than her sitting around crying all the time, even if Oda is dedicated to this "keep Rebecca's hands clean" theme.
