And I think it is obvious the two unknown Yonkou are Johnny and Yosaku, who have heard about Luffy long time ago from Buggy and decided to check him out. Not willing to reveil their identities yet, they kept in the background, but they did examine Luffy quite a bit. Personally, I admire Oda for resisiting the temptation of making their true nature more obvious, by letting them reenter to story at a later point, or making them do something really awesome. You just know Johnny could have made Arlong explode by looking at him, but he kept in line by putting on those sunglasses.

that would actually be pretty cool if luffy was in amnesia during the whole journey and his whole past/backstory is screwed up and hes actually the final shichibukai….final fantasy 7 style. plus he already has the animal theme. Monkey!

I think 6000 pages is more pages than OP has total. So, next chapter would be 12 or so years worth of OP. And that would rule the Earth with an iron fist of steel and other metals.

Actually, if you average 18 pages per chapter, it's 8604 pages so far.

I am actually kind of surprised no one has yet noted they have met the seventh Shichibukai back in the third folume already, chapter twenty-two. On page nine of saidc hapter, Luffy gets shot by a small character called Gaimon (or Caiman) who is carrying his own vessel around - though one usually mistakes it as a treasure chest. He's even got a cock 'n bull story for anyone who asks about this! When Luffy tries to pull him out, he fails miserably. That is not because he's stuck, he has a devil fruit power that can drain Luffy's strength. After his effort, he sends Luffy up a mountain where he himself unknowingly deposits the drained power in an empty treasure chest. We see a teardrop in Caiman's eye, presumably because his plot has succeeded once again. Caiman has gathered a lot of devil fruit powers like this over the years, which he can later on use by switching treasure chest. Unfortunately, his stock recently got all used up, so he left the Grand Line to fill up. Luffy asks him to join, but Caiman has not got enough with just one filled box, so he declines. Maybe he is on his way now though, if he's tricked three more people, next to Luffy and Buggy. Maybe he's got Alvida's powers too. Time will tell.

when i read that i started thinking why the caiman-story is so random. something like the that would be filler nowadays.

I Don't consider BB a main character, a Strong, or even a good one. His DF is easy to over come.
With enough spirit, strength, and stamina you can overwhelm him so much so that he fills up His "black hole" and he can no longer be invulnerable.NOW, on with the nonsense!
