I don't mind waiting 10 weeks for the next chapter, as long as, once they pass, we get 10 chapters at once ^^

Well, the thing definitely makes much more sense if it's just referring to HunterxHunter, because we all know how well the words ''Togashi'' and ''weekly'' go together. Limiting One Piece would most certainly piss off the entire fandom, no exceptions, and would royally screw the anime over. It's just a really dumb thing to pull.

After some research, I found out that ◆EizHb38XPU really is a very reliable source, so it's pretty much confirmed unless his account was taken, which is unlikely…
So now we need a proper translation, I can only hope Oda is just taking this 10 weeks off so we can have it at fullest next year....This 10 HxH - 10 OP - 10 HxH Stuff seens very unlikely, or at least I hope so...Oda and OP would have only to lose if it start to be this way...

It makes SOME kind of sense from a sales perspective. This way they can prolong the animation and comic to epic proportions. The problem with that is, they're going to lose a LOT, a LOT of people.
Most of the people I know who dropped OP dropped it in Skypiea. Why? "Because it took too long."
If people can't handle Oda's lengthy stories when he's going at his own pace, what will they think about 10-FUCK-ME-IN-THE-ASS-weeks between continuation CONTINUALLY?
If it is true, it is the worst possible news we could receive regarding the series second to Oda perishing.

lol, this post made me post laugh and shed a tear, I think I will drop One Piece, after 10 weeks of waiting and waiting and waiting….........I guess I'll just call it quits, plus, the way Oda tells a story, well, lets just say, One Piece will NEVER EVER END!

Shueisha like 4Kids is not at the mercy of fans when it comes to sales so they can do what they want and everyone has to accept it. I've always hated that company for how they've handled manga in the US (through VIZ) and this is just another excuse to complain and moan.

Getting only 30/20 chapters a year cannot be good for a weekly manga like One Piece is. Maybe if we're lucky Togashi will decide to go on another eight month break. nervous laughter
I don't even want to think about what would happen to the anime, as the way things are going in canon, there's bound to be almost no room for fillers very shortly, unless they put out like, one or two episodes a month.

Did you mean me? At 2:30PM every Saturday like clockwork I hit the local grocer to get my advance copy of JUMP. Then on tank releases I get up at 5AM to hit the convenience store before school.
