SMH @ you thinking it's possible she'll join the crew.
What does the Sydney Morning Herald have to do with any of this?
Exactly why would she decide to join now or anytime in the future?
Don't ask me, I couldn't possibly come up with an explanation for characters that aren't mine. Why not ask Oda? I'm sure he gets flooded with this question by Vivi fans every year. And yet…he's strangely avoided even addressing it in the SBS.
when?
When or if Oda deems it suitable to the story.
I'd add it'd be pretty lame for Oda to make her join anytime now, she had her chance and chose her kingdom.
I don't think it would be lame. I mean she chose over having an adventure by addressing a serious issue like, a nation of people fucked. I think many people in America now would agree that just dicking around while your nation is fucked is a bad idea. You bring up an excellent point that she put one over the other but please note that the crew doesn't hold this against her and have accepted her just the same.
When will she have the chance to abandon her country?
Again, you're asking the wrong guy. I can offer ideas, but none of them are the author's nor should I doubt the ability of the author to conceive a reasonable explanation. Besides, it's been what? A month or two since they left her? What brief scenes we've seen of the country since then, it already seems to be thriving.
You do know here being a princess means she'll eventually be Queen, right?
You do know she left it before in secret to be a secret double agent, right? She left once to save her kingdom and now she's seeing that it's being taken care of and lead in the right direction. If she could leave it when it was fucked over, I think she wouldn't have a problem leaving it when it's back on its feet.
Again, not saying ANY of the above will transpire in that fashion, but these are the kinds of ideas Oda could easily use, obviously much better than my own broken predictions.
Everyone's reacted about Boa Hancock kicking the kitten, but I lol'd at the kittens response after being kicked.
That was a beautiful scene. Tells you everything you need to know about the character in two panels.
That's just it though, Alabasta is where Vivi belongs.
Yes, I completely agree. For now. When/if the crew needs her, she'll be there.
