Yeah, Zetsu even made the comment that using genjutsu anymore would be useless.

meh I bet that in two chapters it will turn out everyone was trapped in sauskes genjutsu. That's why zetsu couldn't see sauskes seals, he wasn't really makeing any.

Somehow the only real good part of the whole chapter was Sasuke using the "Demon Wind Shuriken" again, showing its not all friggin eye-tricks. But at the same time, the whole idea of Amateratsu merely being an amplification of a generic Uchiha fire attack…well it explains things but I didn't like that part.

I just don't understand how Itachi with his mangekyou can fall for the Demon Wind Shuriken….. this is like a really bad fanfiction...... only with pictures.

^ Yeah, he used a lot of chakra in the last attack, so he was getting weaker, plus using it hurts his eyes even more, which is why he had glossy black tears of blood when he used Amaterasu.

I wish I had a screencap of that disclaimer, but I can't find it or anybody who had it. So I'll explain it to all of you.
It was a shot of some part of the Ninja Academy with the swing from the 1st episode included. But the picture was blurred and it has black text with a white outline reading "The following program contains scenes with moderate violence. Parental discretion is advised.".

Well, all the back stabs and near death and deadly combat leads to zip…but a little heart-ripping action finally gets a warning for Naruto. You do wonder why Kishi doesn't think of this with Kakuzu...
Oh, and somehow seeing the filler lead turning into the Incredible Hulk with Tetsuo-esque mutant appendages makes me wonder how many more times this will happen in the fillers. But hey...at least this freak is better than what's coming...(snicker, tiger man)...

Man, I hate fillers. First, Jiraiya takes Naruto and Sakura on a mission to learn what he just told Naruto in the last cannon episode (Sasuke will be safe for 3 years blah, blah). Then we get a scene with Tsunade and Shikamaru talking about medical nin being on squads (again, already been discussed). Sooo interesting!
But anyway, the manga has been going great lately. The last chapter was really great. Sasuke is officially the first person to hurt Itachi (just because Itachi was having trouble seeing though). It's just annoying that Sasuke gets cooler, while Naruto still seems pretty weak. For now though, I think I'd like to see Madara's reaction to Yamato's jutsu.

tony the tiger mizuki arc next week
Its sad really: people only seem to know of this arc from the crap of the final episodes without really saying anything about the first five. The upcoming Mizuki arc does look like crap but there has to be more to it then "he turns into a tiger at the end".

Does anyone else think that Kishi might be desperate enough to start "stealing" from the fillers. I mean I haven't seen a single episode of Naruto anime after the whole getting Tsunade to Konoha saga but I did hear about that filler about Seven Swordsman of the Mist and Nidaime Hokage's Lightning Sword, and something about Mizuki coming back and joining Grass or Rain or some minor village.
These fillers might be interesting enough for Kishi to implement into canon…....

I doubt he's even going to introduce the other Seven Swordsman of the Mist at this point. The filler said Raiga was a former member of them, though, so it anything.
We'll see though, I guess.

A lot of the other fillers seem even more forgettable than this. Heck, at this point, the "tiger" bit is the only thing that kept people talking…negatively, yes, but still...
Maybe they needed more antlions, heart-grabbing, Hulk/Tetsuo fusions and Kin ripoffs. The Fuuma arc wasn't brilliant but it was entertaining in some ways. (even if Pain probably would kill them all for disrespecting the name, even with different kanji)

I wonder how sasuke's gonna hold up against Itachi's jutsu,the black flame one,(I cant spell it,but I know it) ametrus,amer,black flame jutsu :). At the end of the last chap. Sasuke is holding it at bay with his flame. Ya think mabye Sasuke will use,flaping chidori current?

But I am re-reading Rurouni Kenshin (and I actually like it more than I used to - since I appreciate the artwork and character designs a lot more now) which made me think of Iwanbou.

The brothers in Gurren Lagann aren't even fat, and they look nothing like them. The only similarity is that they're brothers and there's two of them; and even that, Fujin and Raijin (I think that was the Naruto twins names) didn't even interact the same way.

Also, they weren't incredibly terrible government officials. They do, however, strongly resemble Iwanbo, like Kuro said. Just less creepy and awesome Iwanbo's.

Anyway, about the filler episode, never seen it, so I'm glad now I did (I can see that the next one is hilarious, those grinning twins, haha)

Old news. That club has been there for years and just gained legitimacy with this recent fight. (though somehow…all I want now is Itachi being blind and clueless by the time this fight is over...such a thing couldn't happen to a stupider character)

The brothers in Gurren Lagann aren't even fat, and they look nothing like them. The only similarity is that they're brothers and there's two of them; and even that, Fujin and Raijin (I think that was the Naruto twins names) didn't even interact the same way.
The way they grinned in that pic just reminded me of them. Had nothing really to do with their overall appearance.
