nice chapter, love it when the main character gets utterly beaten like this cause it separates it from other manga where they only do this only to have the protagonist stand up immediately and get a comeback win.
No way Luffy can counter this right off the bat.

ok now i'll admit, fairy tail has definitely fallen off my grid as one of the up and coming promising manga of this generation.
Too much generic-ness and cliche endings to provide me with any satisfaction and yearning for more, at least for me but still i guess with the lack of any entertaining manga these days (even toriko has become stale to me) i'll still read the rest of fairy tail.

wow, this chapter was about as useful as that infamous Naruto ramen chapter where the majority of the chapter were of those two part-time ramen workers arguing over something stupid.

damn that soft-hearted Knuckle, in the end it was his own overwhelming kindness and soft-heartedness that did him in.

Damn and i thought the pace for one piece for horrible at the moment, you think a manga about swords would be moving at lightning pace like rurouni kenshin but doesn't seem likely.
good lord, i have no idea who's worse at creating chapter endings, Kubo or Kishimoto.
They always seem to like ending chapters without revealing the face of the latest person to appear, only to disappoint everyone when they do reveal that mystery character.
hence why "kill em' all Tomino" is so popular with his creations, especially his ultimate death series Space Runaway Ideon where not only does the entire cast die, but the entire universe gets destroyed!!!

Or it could just be the fact that it was extremely popular among all it's fangirls, i mean konomi had valentine's day polls where each character would be given chocolate based on votes. Fangirls pretty much rule the world, just ask Sasuke.
Not to mention the musicals, never count out musicals. Apparently there's a chinese drama happening as well.
The series imo hit it's peak during the 1st Seigaku vs. Rikkai encounter when chibisuke defeated the emperor in the most retarded way i've ever seen.
