I'm afraid I follow the same suspicions that others have. The actual show was great. There were a few episodes that were kind of boring, but the vast majority of them were at least good, and quite a few were just superb.
On the other hand, the movies were a bit over-the-top and weird to me. They had some funny parts, but they had a different feeling to me. Even though I'm aware of the differences between a movie and a TV series I still fear that they're going to continue that style of Futurama as opposed to the one we had in the TV series.
Although I recall hearing that the directors or whatever said that the movies weren't their best. I don't know if that was something they actually said, but I hope so, because if they themselves realized that than we might actually have a chance at a great revival!
Either way we have to keep an open-mind for this. I get a feeling that a lot of people get disappointed with things because that feeling that it is going to not be as good is so persistent in their mind. It's easy for something to not seem good to you when you're paying attention to every little detail that may not seem as good as it was before. So yeah I'm really going to try to keep an open-mind here.
