Your off topic post are just as bad, if not worse. There hasn't been any "insults and useless bashing" yet, so just chill out.
SHUTUP YOU FOOL, YOU'RE POLITICAL OPINION IS ROFL SUCK!
@Gorlom - Everything is a two party system. There is the occasional independent that will win an election, and even then, those people are grouped into either the Republican party or the Democrat party. New parties do not do well because the public opinion is that they do not matter, the big parties will win anyways and thus they believe a vote on anything but the two major parties is a wasted vote. This sentiment is spread, and due to the lack of intelligence in this country, people accept it and spread it more. Furthermore, those minor parties have trouble competing financially against the other giant parties. It would be like starting your own computer operating system and trying to overcome Microsoft.
Our party system has been fucked up forever. The founding fathers believed that factions (parties) were unnecessary. If you ever have spare time and are truly interested, take a look at the Federalist papers. The fathers generally agreed that parties would spawn corruption and thus they wanted to avoid it. However, it was an inevitable route. The parties did in fact spin out of control, and the party leaders held more power over the elected officials in office. The officials were merely pawns at the hands of those party leaders. Fortunately, the system was attacked and the parties suffered massive power losses. Granted, they still are fairly powerful today, but when compared to the late 19th and early 20th century, they are worse off than a shadow. They basically crushed every upcoming party. Some cases though, that proved to be a good thing. Communists, socialists, the world would be completely different if either of those parties gained widespread support in America back in the early 20th century when the entire world was looking for answers to the desperate times.
