@Gorlom:
Whoa. just read Stephens script…. it sure is different from Skywalkers...
im not sure i trust either of them is entirely accurate.
stephens is usually really god but im not sure i trust him about the belly dance, 2 zombies hogback wants to command and Sanjis comment after Luffy rembers what the old man said
on page three just doesnt seem to fit his facial expression as well as skywalkers translation...
but on the other hand some other things like hildon beeing a regular zombie rather then one of Absoloms underlings makes more sense.
Dunno who skywalker is but stephen's is dead on.
Hogback specifically asks for two zombies to control.
He specifically asks for a belly dance.
And Sanji literally says 'right to the point' in a sardonic tone.
Anyway, GREAT chapter but it leaves me with a fantastic fear.
A fear so great and gaping that it could ruin the enjoyment of the arc.
Unless Odz breaks Usopp's arms or something equally drastic/disabling ie. instantly walking away, sending them flying somewhere, etc. then I have lost interest in the Odz gimmick and despite his awesomeness as Sogeking this will go down in history as the worst use of Usopp in an arc ever.
Here we have our master sniper who could shoot a man from rifle distance with a massive slingshot.
He has a GIGANTIC gaping mouth in front of him which all he has to do is shoot a bag of salt.
It's not even a fast-moving target.
One bag of salt, near point-blank range, game over.
I would MUCH rather have this come to a timely and logical resolution then see it dragged out for shits and giggles. Yes, the idea of Luffy vs Odz is awesome and it's what I was hoping for. But having Usopp RIGHT THERE and not utilizing the character who we KNOW can pull off great shit, would be a sin.
Again, if Odz somehow sends Usopp flying to the other side of the island, cool. But if we spend 5 pages of Usopp explaining the situation and knocking his knees together, just…..ugh.
I actually thought Odz was out and about on that trip around the world he was talking about. I thought that was an awesome idea. He could have come waltzing back at the climax and even been carrying Laboon with him as a snack he was saving.
That's why when I saw him on the mast I started to worry and seeing Usopp two feet from his VACUOUS MOUTH with an INSTANT KO in his very hands worries me to no end.
Please Oda....don't make an already suffering character subjected to more awfulness.
edit:
I'm sure someone must have picked up on it and mentioned it but to save me ten pages or so, anyone know where Zoro picked up the third sword? Or did he just keep the hilt of Yubashiri? Hard to tell from that one pic where he's with Franky.
