Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End
-
Cool…can't wait to see it. :) The trailer played a little slow for me for some reason though >.<
-
I think I've seen that clip of Jack v Davy somewhere before…
-
Saw the new trailer on TV last night… man that was BRUTAL!! It got me all excited about PoTC again! I so can't wait to see it!
-
Need…downloadable trailer...NOW!!!!
The other clip(Jack and Barbossa "fighting" for the ship´s leadership) is funny as hell too XD -
Well this got me going, can not wait for the third installment.
-
That trailer was bloody epic!
And did anyone else think "Pirate Summit" when they saw the gathering? XD
-
Where's the youtube ver. already?!?!

I KNEW I wasn't the only one thinking something One Piece related when that part came up! So awesome!
Also one thing that's been bothering me…. shouldn't it have been more of a surprise that they rescued Jack, I mean, he looks fine. Dunno if this has been discussed already, but I'm not going to read this entire thread... It just bothers me that he already has so much screen time, for someone presumed dead... Hm, they better have a damn good explanation for this, I'm gonna go see it anyway.
-
My guess: World's End is a form of Hell on the sea, that's why he is there. And it's not so much that you're actually "dead" but rather you're trapped there, so they come and get him out.
-
He was in Davy Jones' locker! Trapped with all his gym socks and old sandwhiches, OH THE INHUMANITY!!
xD lol, I have no life.
-
Yeah, that's right. Davy Jones' Locker is the "hell" of the pirate world, isn't it?

Davy Jones Works out a lot.
-
^ yes, and he's a sweaty greasy musician to boot
-
Billy Ray Cyrus can't dance. That is all.
And that trailer was kickass. I'm actually thankful my mom and sister are obsessed with Dancing with the Stars. And the movie comes out on my sister's birthday, so I have an excuse to see it on opening day now.
-
woo! now the 480p,720p,1080p trailer is up now.
-
-
For everyone who has G4, switch to it now. Attack of the Show is about to play the Pirates 3 trailer, so if you wanna see it on your TV, here's your chance.
EDIT: Well, that sucked. Not only does it look better on the internet, but they shortened it GREATLY. The original trailer online is a little over 2mins and 30secs. They made it like 40-50secs…
-
wow, I just saw the trailer today and it was awesome!!!
now for all you One Piece fans out there (sorry, but how could I not make this? lol):
-
Maybe we'll get some ninja's?
Because we all know.
PIRATES > NINJAS -
Maybe we'll get some ninja's?

PIRATES > NINJASLock and load, mates. Lock and load.
-
I just saw an English commerical, and there are FOUR PIRATE LORDS. Sound fammiliar? I thought you would.
-
I'm sorry man, but the second and third were filmed together so this was filmed quite long before the Youkou appeared and even longer ago when the script was written. Yet it is kinda impossible anyone even knew of this so Oda couldn't have got the idea from it.
There must be a source to this "four pirate lords". Someone do some research.
-
You know, it just says from the four corners of the world. Not just Four Pirate Lords. I know it's from Wiki, and not to be instantly trusted, but(from the At World's End wiki):
! @Wikipedia:
! > The world's pirates gather together in a meeting known as the Brethren of the Coast, consisting of nine pirate lords -
I uploaded the trailer here too:

Jack gone all Davy John crew? Could this have been how they found him? -
Nah, it would probably take more time than that to go that weird looking.
-
….getting killed can take a lot out on a man. Not to mention he was eaten by the Kraken, I'd say you wouldn't look too much better getting thrown up/crapped out of that thing.
-
That pic has him looking rather crusty, like that guy who held up a lantern in the Flying Dutchman. and he's been there for who knows how long. Meanwhile, Bootstrap just recently got that starfish addition to his head.
-
Exactly, that is my entire point. Yet their is no way Jack could have been part of Jones' ship for like 100 years…so there must be another explanation why he is like that.
-
Eeek! that's Jack? O.Oblinks
the rumor states there were supposed to be 4 films but went down to 3
-
I don't remember any such rumor. All I remember is that they said that there were going to be two additional movies to Curse of the Black Pearl.
-
thats what i heard last year.
-
For the record, Depp said he wouldn't mind playing Sparrow for however many films they decided to make. And Disney said they would support it so long as it was successful.
The other two leads (ie. what's his face and what's her face) have said they would rather jump ship at this point. Good riddance.

I realize that the movie was made before the Yonkou, but I just think it's a huge coincidence.
-
@Impel:

Yeah I agree, though IMO as much as I like the whole 'war' aspect that will be in the movie, I really wish they didn't go for it. Mind u it's not that I think they wouldn't get it right, heck I am 10000% confident that it will be badass, but I belive they're just doing what other movies are doing with there being a 'war' scene in them if u know what I mean.
Man I loved how the undead monkey was the ONLY one that went thru all that shit to save Jack JUST because he missed him XD. -
The movie may have been done before the Yonkou, but it sure wasn't done before pirate summit was mentioned. o.o
-
Yeah, why did the monkey miss Jack? Does he have some sort of sick fetish of being shot?
-

Jack gone all Davy John crew? Could this have been how they found him?Maybe Jack's father, maybe just someone on Davy's crew.
-
No, doubt it is Keith Richards. Just look at it man, that is Jack.
-
Why are Elizabeth and Will saving Jack if they do not miss him? WHy didn't they raise their hands????
I just i cannot wait for the whirlpool scene where all the pirates i think will meet. Its so epic.
-
I think the whirlpool scene will be where EVERYONE dies. Everyone.

Maybe because of what they've been thru and probably cuz of what Jack is doing when they find him…..or such
-
Alright now I'm super hyped for this movie. But wanna know what really sucks, I bought a ticket for the 12:00 am showing on the 25 thinking that I would be one of the first to see it, but now Diseny moved the date up one day to the 24th instead of the 25…
-
The story books don't actually tell the events right? I read a story book at a Maijer and it read "The Storybook of the Movie" and I read the ending. I also heard some things I read in it were true, like:
! Sao Feng giving his boat to Elizabeth
I know the novel is out and that tells basically the entire movie, but this wasn't the novel, it was a story book. I really hope it was just BASED on the movie, and it actually isn't the plot.
Cause if it is…yeah, I ruined myself.
-
That spoiler better not be true or i'll slap myself for clicking it.
-
I'm thinking this won't be as good as Curse of the Black Pearl but there IS Captain Jack Sparrow.
-
That spoiler better not be true or i'll slap myself for clicking it.
Yeah, allow me to correct myself via Captain Jack.
! Ship.
-
Watched it yesterday. I loved it. After sleeping a night about it I must say that I´m really pleased with the end. Won´t spoil story elements though. Just make sure that you go to the restrooms before the movie starts because just like the second it has overlenght.
-
Saw it yestardy too, and also loved it. Didn't think it too long, but then again the cinema I used had (poorly) added a pause.
Despite the first film having all the advantages of being "stand alone-y" and all that, I think this might be my favourite movie in the trilogy…The acting and characters were top notch (all the Barbossa/Jack interaction was GOLDEN), and it has the adventure and comedy feel of the first, and the action and grittiniss of the 2nd.
Boye does it have grittiness. I've yet to see a more "Dark" movie come out of Disney. Look forward to Davey Jones killing a man in a remarkably disturbing and gruesome way.So, in short, go watch it. For all I care, this needn't be the last installment!
