Kurogiri was nomued roughly 14-15 years ago,Touya died when Shouto was around 5-6 so 10 years ago. The math works, although I don't think that's the case.
I think Touya tried to prove himself to Endy and things go so out of control the assumed him burned himself to ashes.

Vigilantes 76 is out.
! Damn Mister Oguro is dead for three years an nobody cared for him. And Koichi is packing some punch here.
-
I'm trying to reason it away, but everything's pointing to Knuckleduster being dead with him passing everything he knows to Soga before then.
Seeing Koichi train this chapter cemented him being, not only Knuckleduster's successor, but also O'Clock's. We finally have details about what exactly he can do since the time skip and it's glorious. Is he faster than No. 6? Probably not, but he's no slug either. Plus, he's packing some offensive power and maneuverability. Dude, just take the damn hero license exam again. You'll pass it without breaking a sweat!
I noticed him "flying" when saving Makoto wasn't mentioned. Man, the series is just sitting on that little detail until the perfect time, which I'm guessing is when he captures Queen Pop.
I also bet that line about Koichi having to reach Pop before the heroes is setting up No. 6, as his hero persona, getting to Pop first.
-
While I don't advocate for the scenario, I also totally believe the possibility exists that Twice ain't actually dead. I thought it was for sure when I initially thought the real Twice had fallen from the balcony and held it together just to make a clone to save Toga and Compress, but ch.267 fixed that. Real Twice's body/corpse is laying in a pool of blood up there with Dabi and co. The big sad clear goodbye and seeming confirmation by Hawks/Dabi don't really confirm it with this genre. Seen it too often and I won't be duped again.
idk why, but I find the stuff with Miruko and co down below trying to take out the doctor, nomus, and shiggy to be a lot less interesting than the stuff with Hawks/the league/the kids helping outside. Feels so good whenever we cut away from them and so bad whenever we go back.

! Yo Shigi sleep time is over.
-
I smell an All For One flashback coming. I hope it's about him meeting Ujiko and manipulating Tomura since the very beginning.
-
Even if Mirko and Hawks are severely wounded/mutilated, this is going too well for the heroes. So the obvious continuation would be Shigaraki waking up by sheer willpower and completely overpowering the heroes, Gigantomachia chiming in, the heroes have massive losses, have to withdraw and Shigaraki ushers in a new era like All For One did back in the day. But I'm hoping that Horikoshi will pull a Kamino and go a different route. Maybe something along the lines of most villains including Shigaraki get caught and thrown into Tartarus, Dabi escapes here and instigates a jailbreak for Stain where All For One gives Shigaraki the last 25% of power but somehow dies in the action.
-
It's not over till the fat lady sings. Or Shigaraki loses his head.

In this case, Fat Gum? I wanna see him with Kirishima and Suneater at Karaoke

God I would hate if the theory that AFO build Shigi from scratch turns true because: 1) the loss of character agency, it would turn a fleshed Shigi in a mere sock puppet doing what he was indoctrinated to do; 2) Remove the possibility of mutant quirks such as his and Eri's, making her a MacGuffin (she was the "object needed for the bullets and she was the "object" that lead Deku's victory over Chisaki); 3) If every single bad thing in Japan's Hero society since the birth of quirks was linked to AFO: it would surely be boring, it would create a nigh omnipotent adversary and would diminish in much the pauper world build we have already, if that was the case why not search for a time traveling quirk and BACK U GO to stop him.
-
So…There's a lot going on. The hospital raid and the villain hideout raid. What are Deku and his group supposed to be doing again?

Crowd control, mostly. Helping with evacuation and making sure none of the villains escape.

I don't quite understand. Are you saying AFO literally made Shigaraki like a Nomu?
If we're talking about AFO manipulating the events of Tomura's life before meeting him on the street post family massacre, then yes, I think AFO was pulling strings early on. The guy who brought Tomura home in Shigaraki's flashback is probably AFO and it can't be a coincidence he just happened to find his old enemy's grandkid and took him in. AFO had all the time in the world to play the long game, and he's been doing that with Shigaraki as well as the One For All quirk (that's a whole other thing I won't go into now).
Does that make Shiggy less of a character? No, because despite AFO's influence, he's becoming his own person. I get the feeling AFO is gonna get a rude awakening when he tries cashing in on Super Shiggy only for things to go badly. And, by that I mean I don't think AFO ever gave up on living and is using Shiggy as a test subject for himself. Not realizing how big a monster he made. At the very least, we know AFO wants OFA and if Shiggy decides to try to take it for himself that could pose a problem for him too.
Not sure what you mean about removing mutant quirks. I just consider them rare S-Rank quirks that pop up at some point. I got no doubt AFO and his brother had mutant quirks and AFO could've stolen Decay and given it to Tomura at some point.
Everything isn't linked to AFO. The Meta Liberation Army is one example. There's Stain and the Yakuza too. But, we can't deny AFO had a huge influence on the criminal underworld for a long time.

That AFO would hunt don't and punish Nana's family is a given, I just don't like the idea that AFO gave Shigi's Decay, because of the two mutant quirk he have are his and Eri's and if Decay was given then it would no longer fall into that category.
I do think that AFO took his Kamino discourse serious, it's now his protegee against Toshinori's. His only plan know might be finding a way to end OFA for good. -

AFO has no intention of ending OFA or he would've done it ages ago. My guess is, since he's obsessed with the quirk, he's been purposefully letting it build in power before finding a way to steal it.
-

That's an assumption based on the fact that we haven't seen anyone with a quirk that breaks things into smaller things, Decay could be an offspring of said quirk. To be a mutant quirk it would've come from a family line without any similar quirk, just like how Eri ended with a organic material time regression.

But, if AFO stole Eri's quirk i'd still be a mutant quirk. And, we know Decay (whether or not it's actually Shiggy's) is a mutant quirk because he has white hair and red eyes.

To Decay be a mutant quirk we have to known that there isn't a quirk capable of corrosion or breaking things apart. In the same vein we know that there isn't a quirk similar to Eri's.
I won't delve further into this, I want some heroes Dusted and Machia'ed so Koichi can mentor Deku. -

Yes, that was my believe too, but Shigi backstory shows that the whitening of his hair my be due to extreme stress of his awakening.

Shigaraki: You should've screamed…at my head snaps fingers
-
They should reaaaaaaly crush his skull just to be sure. If they do and it’s a goop clone, at least they will know.
I guess they aren’t aware of the the medium.

A clone from Twice? But Twice is already down.
-
Yes, but we don’t know if the clones do pop with him, did the mocha clones pop with it? There could be another duplicator made by the doctor. This shiggy doesn’t have a heartbeat, but nothing has been said of the clones having to be alive to be functional, as it was damage or pain that broke them, this shiggy dying inconsious might allowed him to not pop.
All speculation, of course, it could be very well the real shiggy and just stands up via a power up, or be a poor sap with dyed hair who was put there as a decoy.
-
A source of Twice's issues was that he wasn't sure if he was the 'original' Twice and not just the clone that survived, so it's entirely possible for Twice clones to still be around.
-
Well, it's not like Twice has ever died to know if it's possible or not. It'd be interesting if we get a Twice clone hanging out with the League still.
It makes absolutely no sense for this to not be the real Shigaraki, though. Why would the doctor perform the operation on a clone?
-
I’m just trying to figure out how we can have a dead body here and a fated enemy later.
Shiggy could have a mild sugestion quirk, the one checking his vitals could be a traitor, or an idiot, all is the keikaku of an illusion user.
-
It could be as simple as Shigaraki willing himself back to life/awake or AFO "talking" to him in his mind. Kind of like Dabi coming in to save Twice, Horikoshi could be using a good guy trope on a bad guy.
-
I'm not convinced it will be that easy. We've already seen Shigi wrecking shit in basically a dream like state.
-
About Shiggy, things are looking too good, so I can see some of the following happening:
-Maybe the doc put a failsafe on shiggy, like a device that would turn on his heart if the worst happened (the outfit he is wearing perhaps)
-It´s also possible that he could wake himself up out of sheerpower, but unlike Enel or Hisoka, he doesn´t have the means to make it coherent (but perhaps the surgery changed that like someone said)
-The High Ends will fight some more and either them or one of the heroes is gonna use a electric attack that will wake Shigaraki up.
-A SOS message from the league is gonna arrive at the lab and Shiggy will wake up thanks to the power of friendship, evil friendship.
-Shiggy will meet Twice on his way to the other side and have a little chat about luck, but before they get there Twice will tell him that is not his time yet and then he wakes up smiling and crying. -

But I believe that once out of his Saiyan healing cocoon his gears will start turning, and only the doctor knows how many "hadrware" modifications were made and how many other quirks have. Maybe he can also have John-chan and Mocha's quirks, a peaceful way for them to keep living in our hearts.

-
Talking in front of a bonfire with Twice….like Kakashi and his father.
Or even better, maybe Shiga will also make amendment with his father and will be blessed with the hatred his father had of heroes ! -
As much as I'd love for there to still be a big trick here that the villains have to turn the tides to make them look good, it's really starting to seem like their only hope is Shiggy inexplicably waking up thanks to friendship/protagonist power and that'll be the end of it all. Oh well, I guess it's fine to give the hero faction one last hurrah on top of the hierarchy before everything gets flipped and they finally start looking like underdogs.
-
Wouldn't say only hope. Gigantomachia still hasn't done a single thing since the attack started.
-
Maybe his body really is dead but he's just went beyond the need for it and is about to turn into The Nothing.
-
We can always have Shigaraki go full Kaneki and transform into a giant Noumu Tree Dragon thing.
-
Or maybe shiggy is dead and Dabi/re-Destro take over the plot, taking turns trying to give orders to Machia while he doesn’t figure out that shiggy is dead. Kinda weekend at bernies.
-
It's pointless if Shigaraki doesn't have the final showdown with Deku. Maybe he'll just turn zombie.
-
The cliffhanger is painful. Topped of with having to wait longer. Maybe he'll do a cicada thing. He's not dead but in a deep death like slumber.
I'm wondering if Mic will die and then we get Mirko as the replacement teacher while she recuperates.
-
IIRC Mic is the English teacher. So I'm not sure if Mirko has the qualifications.
-
I'm not sure Mirko has the qualifications to be a teacher. She doesn't seem to think ahead, at all, but maybe I'm assuming too much. She might have gotten a degree in some other field between being a badass, insane berserker bunny.
Also, I've been forgetting to ask this for weeks so I'll just throw it out there: you think Toga can use her quirk when drinking a dead person's blood? Cause that might add a very grim twist to Hawks' mission to stop Twice, that is if they end up having a back up in Toga. Assuming Twice hasn't bleed out completely by the time this is all over. That was quite a puddle last we saw him.
-
Mirko just lost an arm, so she may have to retire as a full-time hero anyway. Not to mention whatever has happened to her legs.
Dammit, you don't make a character that cool only to kill/disable her right away.
-
Well she has: lost her left arm, has injuries running on the left side of her face, lost a portion of the left side of her lower abdomen, has lost great part of her right calf, has a perforation on her left thigh. Even with Endy cauterizing the wounds shes in bad shape.
I also think that since we leapt forward to just before the PLF attack plans, and the things that are happening now I find really difficult to go back to the regular school setting. -

Yeah…
For a good idea of how badly she's hurt, check out this colored panel of her injured state.
(Squeamish warning) -
She's gonna need all the kisses from Recovery Girl.
-
There's also Eri and her quirk.
-
-
From what I recall Eri wasn't feeling very good last we saw her. Might be risky.
-
From what I recall the debt of the murder of Mocha and John-chan hasn't been paid yet.
