Clearly, as a good nazi-imperialist-communist, Horikoshi must know all this random dates by heart.
My Hero Academia II - A true Hero

-
Damn people do want to Hate Hori, is like they nitpicking stuff and extrapolating the meaning on meaningless things.
-
He capitulated to their whining, now they are out for his blood it seems. Im not saying apologizing and the name change were bad, but you give an inch and those ding dongs will swarm.
-
Holy shit, people are just looking for reason to get mad now.
-
Like authors are going to bother spending their time looking at this bullshit, they have better things to do.
Hori was also attacked when Endeavor started to show signs of redemption. This outrage over the Doctor's name would have completely slipped his mind had not been for the fact MHA was being sold in China.
Eventually this will cease and the snowflakes will go find something else to spit out their vitriol.
-
Can't wait to find out how some of Bakugo's lines match the ones in some of Hitler's speeches.
Or maybe Napoleon's, his birthday was the same date too.
-
The birthday info has been out for years. People are just now realizing that? Also 4/20 is national weed day.
-
Because the good doctor controversy made people look deeper into it, leading them to make even more vague connections than before. And lol completely forgot about weed day.
Really curious towards the method in which Object501 approached his research. And wonder how many others skimmed through the details to see if anything matches Hitler or WW2 Japan.
-
So first I think it was more than fine that people were mad at the author for his name choice.
I'm fairly sure the whole birthday is not an actual thing but just an article picking a questionable argument some people have and equating to the name change in order to paint everyone that was not unhappy with it as some whiney crybabies looking for the smallest reason to get angry.

Yeah, it´s pure clickbait and manipulation.
-
At this point I don't know which side is worse. Those who got triggered by the name, or the 'conspiracy theorists' overreacting.

Given the website in question, I'm not surprised at all, it's not the first they've done something like that. Any article from them is a red flag

I would think twice before trusting any sources, nowadays almost any news website is either pure clickbait or completely blows things out of proportion. This is why I no longer visit ANN, after they fully embraced their sensationalism.

Quick, what one piece character was born on those dates!
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
Shirahoshi also shares birthday of 4/4 with Shimura Shigaraki, I wonder if it's because four is pronunced "shi" (Shishilian and Foxy as well)
--- Update From New Post Merge ---
Buggy and Hachan share the 8/8 with endeavor, who should really be born in the 2/2 to keep him in his second place, but middle of summer, in average the hottest day? ok, no, it's for sure an encoded imperialist secret message.
--- Update From New Post Merge ---
And the monster who shares birthday with deku, leting this awful conspiracy run deeper than anything, none other than Donquijote!!! Rocinante.

And hitler is blueno, so boring that I can't muster any hype for it.
-
Endeavor was also number 14 on his college football team and gets confused about people being mad that his twitter handle is "HotOven1488".
-
Damn Deku is the traitor all along. All for Daddy theory paid out after all.

It'll be a Space Dandy situation where nobody at UA is a traitor but people just keep publicly checking in on social media.
-
After two absolutely marvelous covers we’re pack at the usual program.
-
Is there a particular reason why some of his covers look like they are a game on Game Boy Advance?
-
I think he alters doing them analog with copic to doing digitally. His digital art looks quite wonky.

I like this cover. I don't have any real issue with it.
-
The shading on the faces do have that "weird cult classic GBA game" energy.
-
Its hard to fuse America comic book style colouring with anime manga big eyes kawaiiness so this the middle ground
-
[hide]New chapter was really jarring to read.
I could not follow the action whatsoever. I tried re-reading the panels, and I just can't understand the flow of action at all.
Who is this woman chasing after the doctor? Have we seen her before?
Who is this guy that looks like endevor?
Are the Nomu's made from previous villains? They seem to remember the names of heroes.
This author should really work on action presentation. At the moment its just too chaotic and inchoerent.
I just read the new One punch chapter with Garou vs Super Alloy and the presentation(not art, just presentation, cause comparing art would be unfair) is so drastically different, I just can't help but consider this author as an amateur.
Also, how come the only discussion that occurs in this thread is just vigilantes. Is there a rule banning discussion of the actual manga??[/hide]

Boy BandVolume 26 cover.[hide][qimg]https://i.ibb.co/1fnws7Z/vol26cover.jpg[/qimg] [/hide]
Endeavor has a real "I'm not angry, just disappointed" vibe going on the background.
-
Are you talking about chapter 260? If you're already talking about the chapter that comes out tomorrow then use spoiler tags or just refrain from discussing it altogether. That rule has been established for over a year now

Spoilers, Not cool man.
-
Oh shit, sorry guys. My bad.

I like Gentle´s voice, but for some reason I thought it would be a little more silly than that.
Also I almost forgot, but original Destro will most likely appear next week when in Gentle video about famous heroes and villains (I hope they add the hero that didn´t have a design back then), so it makes me wonder if Re-Destro will make a cameo at the end of the season. 5th season would be about Class A vs Class B / The villain arc mostly, so it would make sense.

I'm just glad the dancing scenes thus far were done justice.
Also, I freaked out when Koda started talking. Not that I forgot, I'm just overjoyed their voice actors are getting work. Good for them.

Still mourning John-chan
https://mangaplus.shueisha.co.jp/viewer/1006261–- Update From New Post Merge ---
Not only Johnny-chan but Mocha-chan too. I want that bunny skinned.
-
The fact that Mocha saved Doc makes clear they don´t have memories at all, if they did they wouldn´t have tried to save doc, poor fella. On the other hand, seeing how they are treating Noumus as beyond saving makes me wonder if someday Eri could heal them, if the answer is yes… It will be awkward.
Also, the fight against the High-End is promising, even so I can´t help to think that they don´t look nearly as cool as Hood did, but maybe I will get used to them (the guy with mouths in his hands is the least cool for me)
-
I can see the students helping to catch Ujiko.
-
Well, the action wasn't as messy as Geralt made it seem, I guess. Just standard. Felt like some panels were missing etc.
-
My apologies if this has already come up, but I was watching the most recent dub eps with my roommate last night and noticed something in the opening I hadn't spotted before. Along with that earlier shot of a green sweater being cast off there's a very fast shot of Aizawa holding that same sweater. I'd been assuming that first shot was Eri, but this confirmed it as a reference to her manga profile showing off clothes Aizawa picked for her.

! Well, Mirko isn't out yet. I appreciate how she looks strong in defeat like this. She seems like the strongest melee hero since All Might at this point–when factoring strength, speed, and endurance--and that's impressive.
! Also, Crust cause why not. -
A very interesting way of using MHA 21. The originally alone makes it one of my favorite Vigilantes covers.
I didn't even realize the covers were parallels until I saw a post earlier today.

I remember that. Didn't know the sweater was green. It made it worse.

While the main series is absent, Vigilantes got a new chapter today.
I wonder if she actually received the bee quirk and maybe even more
-
OH boy that's certainly bad news.
-
Link to Vigilantes Chapter 72
Sucks it took Pop being missing for Koichi to realize how little he knew about her and what his feelings for her could be. And, Pop, or should I say Queen Pop? She looks so different as a super villain. I do love how Koichi has pretty much master his quirk except for flying.
Looks, like No. 6 isn't wasting time anymore. Koichi VS Queen Pop is a go.
-
Should he have feelings for her? He was college and she was high school. Also I don't blame him for not catching on. She was pretty tsundere or just completely avoidant with him. And he's not a smart dude…

Ain't that the average japanese romance manga?

Is it? The ones I read usually just have them the same age.

No, I mean a super dense dude and a tsundere girl, either her being a childhood friend or not.

Just saw the Heroes Rising movie.
! Fun movie. Did some things better than the first movie and some things worse. Whereas the first movie focused on only about half of Class A, this movie was much better about giving attention to all of the class and having them all contribute something (huge shoutout to Shoji who, though he didn't do much combat-wise, protected those kids like a boss). Also, I think the villains were stronger and more memorable. Wolf guy could have been the main villain in his own movie. Also, I believe this is the first time we've seen Hawks animated, so there's that.
! Unfortunately, the plot is where the movie suffers in that it's pretty basic and spends a bit too much time on padding and setup. Like, was there even a point to that opening sequence or having the League of Villains in the movie as much as they were?
! And as for that finale, I could be remembering wrong, but I feel like that was kind of a retcon on how One for All works. But it all gets done by magical friendship bullcrap anyway, so whatever. Still a cool sequence that's sure to please a number of fans. -

! A few days ago I saw a rough translation of what Hori said in volume R:
!
! He seriously considered doing something similar near the end of the canon story…
It wasn't set in stone or anything, but there was still a chance that Bakugo would end up with One For All in the end.
As much as I like his character now.... that sounds like a bad outcome.
It's a good thing the idea escaped into a movie instead. -
I just saw the movie tonight too.
I haven't seen an anime movie in theaters since the 1st Pokemon movie like 20 years ago lol.
! People were so amped up. It was kinda cool lol. I had seen spoilers so I knew what was coming for the final fight. But hearing people gasp and yell when the dual One for All scene happened got me excited again lol.
! I did like how the kids pretty much all got to do something. I never saw the first movie so I don't have a comparison. But it was a fun movie. The kids were cute. There were enough scenes that I got a chuckle out of. Pretty solid movie I'd say. It's kinda a random cop out for Bakugo to forget about the fight though. Not sure what the purpose of that was.
