Not really much exited for Ant-man, tbh I'm just gonna watch it 'cause I believe this movie is gonna end with people dissapearing all over the place.
Or post-credit scene with another surviving Avenger telling him they need him to defeat Thanos. -
It would be brilliant if at the end of the movie Ant-Man is the one who disappears and the Wasp is the one who joins the Avengers.

I liked echo as ronin spying on the hand for the new avengers
but hawkeye as ronin really makes a lot of sense in the comic book world, because captain America his idol, trainer, and good friend died, making him a master less like a Ronin (master less samurai)
i don't know how they'll swing it in the movies since they don't really have that kind of relationship lol

I want Blade as Ronin and I want it to happen exactly like it does in the comics. Where he needs a costume fast to hide his identity and the only one he can find is a knockoff Spider-Man costume and for the first wing of the movie we get "Spider-Hero" running around before he becomes Ronin for real.

I mean the hawkeye thing made sense in the comics but it feels more like a tom cruise last samurai thing in the movies
EDIT: also this is why I love Fourms, I only have one other friend who reads American Comics in real life but here I can talk with dozens of people who actually read and know the comics like I do and don't just watch the movies and have zero knowledge about the source material (not that there is anything wrong with that)

I'm getting psyched for Ant-Man and the Wasp, partly because Ant-Man is fun, and partly because Wasp will be the first official Avenger after Black Widow. (and yes, I know she was one of the original Avengers in the comics)
Apparently, some people are mad because the gay Japanese girl is a stereotype of every anime girl on earth and they want her to be serious for once.
Even though half the things they talk about like anime was made by Japanese people and they are just pulling straws over nothing.

He came before Mufassa. Mufassa is the last time I remember an animation having a straight up cool with their kid dad.
Maybe Brave except there its the mother that's disapproving.

Hercules' dads were pretty cool too.
Zeus approved of Herc being a hero and encouraged him… but there Herc himself was kinda doing it all for the wrong reasons. He didn't actually really want to be a hero, he wanted to be the full blown son of a god and being a hero was just a means to that end. Sort of a twisty version of the usual issue, but sure, we can count them as decent parent figures. Kind of an inversion of the usual dissaproval but still the same "just trying to please dad while being weird" thing.....and then Herc, the nicest guy riding high, got conceited.....

It is Antman, vs the most popular sport of the world, on it's most popular tournament. Marvel is being wise here, specially with the Rusian hours pushing games in europe from 2 to 9 in germany's time zone (I think)

I did a little more reading, it's also a move by Disney because they are bumping Incredibles 2 back a few weeks because their original date was during the World Cup, so in order to not compete with itself (Avengers/Solo situation), they are bumping Ant Man further too.

Anyone binge Luke Cage season 2 yet? I really needed a good season of Marvel Netflix after Iron Fist, Defenders and Jessica Jones s2 were all disappointing, and I got it with LC s2. I honestly think it was overall better than the first season.
