So here's my very dumb could be very wrong theory, enjoy.
Pudding Race & BM fav:
It's clear as day as that Pudding is the same 3 eyed women we saw after Fishman Island arc, many of you may already that Pudding eye isn't due to her devil fruit, but her race.
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/C0qLkEWUUAAEJ8a.jpg
From 2012 Dive to The Grand World for the 15th anniversary, there's a page describing the races of OP world.
Oda says those 3 character in the bottom are parts of races that have yet to be properly introduced as of yet, confirming that Pudding is part of a new race.
Her box says this btw nothing big: "A 3 eyed woman, who works for Big Mom."
Minks were put here because this was back in 2012, 3 years before Minks were properly revealed on Zou. Yet Oda did name drop the Minks long before introducing Pekoms and Bebo, from the auction list at the slave house.

So Oda had Minks in mind back in…2009 or 2008 I think this was. I find interest that Minks were mention way before the even got a proper reveal or even actual characters that are minks shown, but nothing about 3 eyed men or woman on the list.
I doubt the Slave House wouldn't sell them off if they could or can (because they are horrible hateful monsters) so I got to ask…how come then are they not on the list?
Here I can think of 2 reasons (This was sort of the cause of want to make the thread):
1. Are the race super secretive and scared of the outside world that they stay on what island they come from?
2. They have they been nearly wiped off for what ever reason and there's only so few left around the world?
If anything I think it may be the 2nd option, why…because Big Mom loves to collect rare things, even if it's people.
Which is totally normal because Big Mom is clearly a well adjusted member of the OP world…

(To be fair who hasn't had days like this…especially after 2016)
Pudding said so herself that she is or is one of Big Mom "favorites".
She says Big Mom loves her acting skills, but would that alone make her a favorite? Maybe it's her devil fruit, hard to say since when haven't seen her use those power for Big Mom, unless she been controlling her the whole time!
I think this could be just be related to the fact she part of some rare race or even the abilities/powers/traits associated with her said race.
Powers/Abilities/Traits (relating to the race):
Aside from the Memory Memory fruit, let's speculate at possible power & abilities of her race…by looking at other 3 eyed characters in other manga.
Tien or Tenshinhan for you nerds…you know who you are (Dragon Ball):
Not much is said about the 3 eyed race (Toriyama forgot I bet) in Dragon Ball & Tien is the only one in the series.
http://static9.comicvine.com/uploads/scale_small/6/62070/1781838-toriyama.jpg
(Had to keep a book around me just to remember basic shit about his own series.)
Tien has the ability to grow 2 extra arms on his back, has the 4 clone tech (which was suppose to be Tien only but again Toriyama forgot) and eye laser.
http://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/dragonball/images/2/23/4Tien(23rdT).png/revision/latest?cb=20110822101306
(All 4 of us can be useless together!)
So nothing much here other than the clones and eye laser, don't see her grow 2 back arms from her back..though the eye laser sounds great.
We all know how Luffy would react.
Luffy just loves them, can you blame him.
Hosuke Sharaku (The Three eyed One):
One of Osamu Tezuka (the godfather of manga) manga starts with a boy name Hosuke who's a small, nice, likable & clueless middle schooler. But when his bandage is removed, it reveals a bulging third eye, and Sharaku completely changes personalities, a hidden evil genius emerges when it can see with enormously strong ESP and other magic powers.
So going by Osamu work, 3 eyed people can have physic/magic abilities. While Pudding has yet to see such things she has the time to in the future. This series also shows the 3rd eye causing a shift in personality to an evil/angry figure.
Hiei (Yu Yu Hakusho):
While his 3rd eye is surgical but I'm still counting it!
Hiei Jagan can allow him to do many things: Telepathy, Telekinesis, Mind Control, Lock-On(enable the user to look vast distances, miles away, regardless of location perfectly. It can see into houses, forests, and even caves with exact precision. This ability also allows the sharpening of his other senses) & summon Dragon of the Darkness Flame.
I don't think Pudding will be summoning the flames of hell in the form of a dragon…sadly enough. But some one those powers specifically Lock-on can be possible.
Jagan can be translated loosely to evil eye, while it doesn't seemingly change Hiei personality since he was always an ass. It should be important to note that later on in the series Togashi doesn't want the view to think demons are evil nor view themselves as evil at least all demons. If that's the case I wonder how it got that name, maybe it does change the user.
Now let's all do a prayer circle for Pudding to shoot fire dragons from her eyes.
Pai (3X3 Eyes):
My last manga I will be taking a look at this is from Yuzo Takada 3X3 Eyes.
MC is Pai the last of the triclops elf race. Like many in her tribe she suffers from a split personality, her first is of a normal human teenage girl and is that of a cheerful and naive girl.
The other Parvati IV or Sanjiyan , usually arises when Pai is defenseless, endangered, or emotionally overcome. Sanjiyan Pai is distinguishable because the normally invisible third eye in her forehead opens when this personality comes to the fore.
Sanjiyan is more rigid and stoic than Pai and is able to use powerful magic, using those powers is draining and rest, leaving her exposed to danger.
Older Sanjiyans often become evil, decadent and uncaring; younger ones tend to have split personalities. Three-hundred-year-old Pai is an example of a younger Sanjiyan: her Pai personality is somewhat flaky, caring, and cheerful, while her Parvati personality is more arrogant and ruthless.
Pai can absorb a human soul to do her bidding, transforming the person affected into a nearly invulnerable servant
I'm looking at the wiki and it's really doesn't detail much else what magic Pai can use so if there's a fan on this site please tell me. Again so Pudding may have some split personality, something she's hiding or hiding her true self. I think Pudding can just have the controlling people option with just her devil fruit.
OK now that the manga is done it's , time to move onto the last subject.
One-Eye, Two-Eyes, and Three-Eyes:
(Couldn't find a bigger pic ;-; )
Seeing how this arc is taking inspiration from fairy tales, Germany and nazi dressed/inspired Kamen raider villains.
I must bring up this Grimm Fairy Tale: One eyed, Two Eyed Three Eyed.
To make a bit of this long story short here's a quick summary:
A woman had three daughters: The eldest had one eye in the middle of her forehead, the second had two eyes like ordinary people, the third had three eyes; two on the sides of her head and a third in the middle of her forehead. Her mother and sisters scorned Little Two Eyes because she was like other people and treated her badly, leaving her only their leftovers to eat.
I think it's too easy to say Oda just took the idea just for a 3 eyed women being evil, seems a bit to simple for Pudding who a huge focus for this arc, if not before now more than ever.
So I think Pudding is a combination of various bits and pieces of the story and her conclusion is based on the story…if Oda doesn't turn heel or do some weird wrestling twist.
Pudding clearly has a evil(or very fearsome overbearing mother) Mother who looks at her as a doll that should just follow her orders. Pudding admires Lola who got to got leave and chose her own life and husband.

Look at Big Mom face, she's drawn to over bearing looming over her with shadows around her eyes. Compared that to how Lola is drawn.
Depending on how Pudding was treated as a kid this might add more of a connection to her being a combination of the 2 eyed sister. One Piece characters can be racist as fuck to anyone at times who aren't just normal and Pudding has a huge glaring (EYE JOKE!) to hide especially if her family knows.
Now time for the rest of the story:
In thttp://scontent.cdninstagram.com/t51.2885-15/e35/13256782_572786492891129_1701754763_n.jpg?ig_cache_key=MTI2NDMyODY3OTk4MjUwMTkyOA%3D%3D.2
In the story there's a woman who comes by and tries to help the the poor child though some magical goat (remember this is a fairy tale so yeah….). .Her mother founds out then, in rage that Little Two Eyes thought to live better than her family, fetched a knife and killed the goat.
One day a Knight (a prince) came riding along the Knight stopped to admire the beautiful apple tree (two Eyed made this) and asked who it belonged to. One eyed and three eyed made the sister hide under a cart while they went to the knight. They claimed they made the tree and to prove it the Knight made a test. They fail and before he left two eyed throw apples under the cart towards the Knight.
When the Knight asked where the apples had come from, the two sisters confessed they had another sister but she had been hidden away because she had two eyes like normal people.
Knight proceeded to ask Little Two Eyes what she would like, as she was entitled to whatever she wanted. Little Two Eyes asked to be taken away from the suffering she had at the hands of her mother and sisters. So the Knight lifted Little Two Eyes onto his horse and took her to live at his father's castle. There he treated her to beautiful clothes and food and drink. They fell in love and he married her.
When two poor women came to the castle to beg one day, Little Two Eyes looked at them and realized that they were her sisters. Little Two Eyes took them in and made them welcome. The sisters then repented of ever having been so mean to their sister.
So it's easy to guess the Knight (the story only refers to him as a knight, but his father has a castle so he's basically a prince =p) is Sanji who comes into Totland. By now we know Sanji has seem the ugly side of Pudding but with how the rest of this may play out he might see more to her and more importantly her whole situation. The woman is most likely Lola considering Pudding admiration towards her seemingly.
He promptly asks her to explain herself and she does, seeing a past where she was tormented or just feel oppressed in this messed up land of her mothers. Seeing parallels with his own situation with the Vinsmokes when he was young he feels sorry for her, especially since unlike him he was able to escape his family.
Sanji takes her to the ship and crew to make their getaway away from Big Mom. (I should note depending on how this arc goes down this can happen later when Big Mom shows up again) Sanji tells the crew the truth and Pudding begs/repents for everything she and her family has put them though. The Straw hats in typical straw hat fashion forgive her and welcome her aboard.
Not saying she's joining, especially since she seemingly has no real combat talents….yet. But I see her "joining" like Kinemon did and just move with the crew for a bit until a new story bit comes where their story can be finished, especially if they escape at the end of WCI and Big Mom is defeated.
Hell I bet she would participate in docking…UNLIKE SOME OTHER STRAW HAT I CAN THINK OF!
Peace everyone!
Be glad it isn't the full version that had a lot more bloated stuff added for comedic reasons.
