@The:
Literally the only main villain luffy has fought alone without any help is don krieg or something. Maybe you should go re read the manga so you can see that this isn't some tournament type fight manga you make it out to be. Luffy is going to need massive amounts of help, both from his crew and allies and from Oda to stand a chance against Kaido.
nope. go read it yourself dudeeeeee
@KageKageKing:
I don't think anything awakening-related to the Gomu Gomu no mi can give a significant upper hand.
well, it could. nobody has an idea of what it could be, haven't seen any interesting theory about it.
Also, Luffy didn't won against the last boss arc alone as well.
well, he did. the real fight starts with the gear4. even though Law injured Doflamingo with his Gama Knife, it doesn't mean anything. Luffy too was injured after his fight with Don Chinjao, and Doflamingo was constantly healing himself so….
and for me, it's confirmed when Law sees his crew again. they tell him "hey you've beaten Doflamingo, with Luffy" and he replies "no, Luffy did it alone." or something like that.
He mostly likely have his own agenda, but if he met Law on the way back during those 2 years is a possibility, yes.
yes, that's what I implied.
@Kaido:
…except three other Supernovas tried the same thing and failed, so assuming Drake is on Urouge's level is kind of out there.
well, he still could be strong enough. this is not out of consideration ( it was before, when we were impressed by Jack's bounty ).
AND, something everyone is missing. We know that Capone, Apoo and Kidd fought against one of BigMom's commanders but we don't know when. maybe Kidd tried to fight one 2weeks after reaching the NW, maybe Apoo did it a year after, and Capone 6months ago.
I think King and Queen will be more long-standing members of Kaido's crew tbh
the theory about the King is Avalo Pizarro. one of the former inmate of ID, now in Teach's crew.
he's got horns, so it matches with Jack and Apoo's dendenmushi ( probably something everyone has to put on –>> fake horns... or true horns, well whatev. )
but he's now part of Teach's crew so maybe the seat of King was vacant all this time ( as the seat of corazon was vacant during all this time for Law in Doflamingo's crew ) and not long ago, Drake became the King. ( but doubt this is someone we know already, considering that Oda has a whole folder about the King ( as well as the Queen and Jack, in his office ) ).
