We all know Tsuyu is the one Midoriya will be together at the end.
Nah, she will end up with Fumikage. The chapter ending was hilarious, I really hope Hatsume becomes a regular member, she is really fun.
-
So I'm guessing that she'll provide Deku with some kinda shock absorbers to wear?
It would protect his arms and advertise her work at the same time. -

Foolio and Co. are working on it. If you need spacing between lines then use < br >< /br >, but without the space. To edit, you have to go advanced.

A workaround of available to you is the Tapatalk app. I can post and edit fine through it.

is it finally time for Midoriya's
! costume to get an upgrade? I don't think he's actually had the hood/mask up since it debuted, and it's always bugged me.
On the whole it's so incredibly… eh, even if the smile-guard was a nice idea (and it's probably the only part of the outfit I'd like to see kept, if it is about to be changed). Otherwise, a nice chapter. It's good to see her back, even if it was never ever in doubt that she would be, really. -

Nah, it´s ok thanks :) I only use internet on a computer, specially if I have to sign in to a website.

A really great chapter. Part of me expected something more special for chapter 100, but if this is the start of 'Deku 2.0' I'm fine and looking forward.I dug the humour in the last two to three chapters. Just looking at All Might's how-to-be-a-teacher book or the last panel in here (http://mangastream.com/r/my_hero_academia/100/3555/18) made me laugh greatly!@Johnnay: Thanks for putting my exact feelings towards the costume into words.

Izuku's costume got a small redesign right before the internship arc. The hood and mask were thankfully removed while the smile-guard was retained. The surest thing about his costume is that the color will stay the same no matter what.

See, you only think the hood was removed… but that's only because he never actually wears it, ever. You can see it in this chapter still. That did slip my mind, though. I remember the ears on it got reduced and the smile-guard became more pronounced (and a couple other changes, I suppose), which was definitely a step in the right direction at least.

I hate myself for looking at the spoilers and ruining the surprise of Mei comeback. And that was one of the things I was waiting the most.
And I will be the on the other side here and wish the rabbit mask is coming back, I really liked it. But I guess it was supposed to look like All Might hair, so maybe it will be gone for good as a sign of Midoriya trying to develop his own style.
-
Love Ashido's Acid-me-ha-me-ha. Never thought I'd say this but I'm looking forward to Mineta's spacial move. Hope it's lame as hell. Hoping Tsuyu uses Spider-Man's special moves from Marvel VS Capcom. Looks like we won't see the completed moves until the test. Welcome back Mei and more Powerloader please. We don't even know what he can do.
Hmm…Deku's upgrade. I'm thinking shock absorbing gauntlets and boots. -
All Might keeps fooling around acting all mystic zen master with Deku. Deku simply has to hit the gym and strengthen his arms which is exactly what All Might was doing at his age. The "stop imitating and find your own way" sounds nice and pretty on paper but One for All is a straight forward strenght enhancer, your body needs to be strong to take it and Deku's only training was back on the first episodes.
-
If you think that deku hasn't been building body strength all this time, you haven't been paying attention.
-
Has he? We never saw him doing any kind of exercise and I know that it was a while ago but he had a lot of troubles with the mind controlling kid back in the televised show and the teachers commented how both of them were the kids with worse psyche of the school.

Uh, no. Aizawa said Midoriya was leagues above Shinsou even without his Quirk. And he is only considered weak because of the Quirk physical fitness test, where he got last place.

The mystic zen master stuff is pretty silly, but I'm sure it's leading to a meaningful place. This very chapter ends with the implication that Izuku is gonna get decked out in tech/gear, meaning that- at least for the start of his career- he'll be a much more nuanced/technical fighter vs. AM's giant bulldozer style. And frankly, that seems like a much more interesting proposition, since Izuku has always been about using his head (which in this case will mean creating fighting strategies that combine Full Cowling with various limiters/enhancers/braces/shocks/etc.). Detroit Smash spam just isn't his style, and the damage to his ligaments means that the fight against Muscular was probably the last time that'll happen…at least for a while.

I just hope Tsuyu's special is not her prolapsing her stomach.

I just read all 100 chapters this week. I like the blend of Japanese manga meets American superhero comics. Good read.
-
Decent chapter but I read it expecting something a bit more. Well, its hard to match up against the awesomeness of last week's chapter anyway.
C'mon Deku and Ochako, just get together already lol.
-
I was expecting an epic chapter since it was number 100…not so much. The start of naming their moves should be amusing I'm sure.

So what're everyone's thoughts on the "Kaminari is the traitor" thoery?
-
Pfft, that's a good revival of an ancient pic.
!
In all seriousness though, this is what I like about 4chan sometimes.
When they're focused and positively pool their brain power into something, they can come out with some great stuff. It does seem like a pretty damn solid case file, I got no problem getting on board with this.
Everything they were saying made sense, and it seems like the most solid suspicion so far. -
So what're everyone's thoughts on the "Kaminari is the traitor" thoery?
Huh…I hope it's not that. I don't want his flaw to be a fake out.
-
It's nonsense. There's light circumstantial evidence at best and from there it's a classic example of a theory dictating the evidence. The whole thing is a big nonsensical "what if?" scenario.
The evidence is still way stronger against Hagakure. She's never fought a villain, her alibis are weak, she has the perfect espionage quirk, and her powers have never been described by Horikoshi.
-
I think Kaminari has a stronger case than Hagakure. The only thing that's really made her suspicious is that we don't really know her powers
-
For Kaminari:
He was awake during the camping trip
He might work as a GPSFor Hagakure:
Her quirk hasn't been explained
She was MIA during the invasion with a contradictory alaby (saw both Todoroki and Monkey boy)
She was MIA during Shigaraki's quick invasion on UAFor Aoyama:
He could have killed Urakara during the villian capture test
He was MIA during the invasion -

Suggested the trip to the mall
Facilitated splitting up at the mall
Was absent the day of the first UA break-in
Wasn't caught by Todoroki's spam freeze at USJ
Placed above Deku and Mineta on the first day despite apparently having no physical augmentation quirk
Has logical and sympathetic reason for being a villain -
The Jamming, it doesn't make sense that it wasn't the guy that was facing him and the girls. Talked about how electric quirks are rare and valuable and he didn't want to hurt him as if he was a kindred spirit, that points to the traitor, but you can't use both arguments at the same time as they contradict eachother. Also there wasn't any Jamming during the training camp, where it wouldn't be suspicious as there was a lot of space, and no one saw every villian
Slipping on stain would be beyond stupid for a villian who "can mask every emotion"
Past designs and "everything is a front" are meaningles asumptions, as they can be used to justify anything, unless there's evidence that this character is actualy acting inconsistently.
Deku's costume also doesn't have any dampening features, and his power also has negative consequences when overused, is Deku the traitor?
Kaminari as well as everyone on class A, except Bakugou, Hagakure and Earjack knew about the Rescue Bakugou Plan, and more importantly the tracer on the nomu. While one for all managed to put up a lot of a fight, the rest of the villians were caught completely out of guard. At least he would have warned Black Mist and set up some survilance around the perimeter instead of letting the heroes waltz in and then try to kill all might after the fact, but set up a better trap and kill All Might and be done with it.
The other reason that it would be good if it was Kaminari, it would hurt a lot more than it was any of the other candidates, everyone is seeing it coming with Hagakure, and Aoyama and Ojiro are just too side character to matter, but Kaminari is in that sweet spot just outside the inner circle to hurt. -

That kinda points to a red herring more than anything. She's too obvious at this point.

To whom? To the average reader or to us who have been talking about it and picking up details for the last 2 years, and most of us are just finding out about the theory of the traitor being Kaminari.

In the same way that R+L=J is obvious now. When a fan base pours over the material for a while, they start to pick up on good foreshadowing that the casual reader wouldn't notice. Hagakure's behavior occasionally seems odd but it's quickly glossed over and forgotten unless you're specifically looking for it. For a long time Aoyama was even a red herring to her but he's obviously not anymore.
-
I place my bets on Hagakure, but just to throw other names: Kouda's ability is perfect for a spy and Satou's pie was perfect to distract everyone from anything they could find in his room.
-
So far my bets are o Hagakure as well, but damn, the Kaminari theory is also good.
-
I don't think any of the kids are the traitor.
After the attack on their summer training camp in the chapter 83 it was said that only the teachers and the pussycats knew where they were going. Suspicion being put on the kids at all looks like a red herring to me.

It was a cake, cakes are for birthdays and are spongy, pies are a hard crust with another softer ingredient on top of it. And he was making it before they decided on the contest. If he was the traitor the cake could be poisoned, but as a distraction for people looking into his plain room, that no one was supposed to see? nope.

With the same breath they said that they needed one GPS phone to leak the position. Invisible phone, swalowed phone, makeshift antena, weather patterns, there is no reason to remove the possibility of guilt from the kids.

Well, he said he started cooking before the whole thing, but who knows? If he was the traitor, I doubt he would say "oh, I came here and started cooking as soon as this whole thing started".
But what's really important here is your correction: it is a cake. And we all know what the cake is, right? (ง ͠° ͜ʖ °)ง -
What if the traitor doesn't know they are a traitor?

What if the traitor doesn't know they are a traitor?
Sleeper Agent could be interesting if it's one of the students.I wonder if that one guy from class B could be framed due to his shaddy quirk.

Any kid could have made the location clear by using a GPS or something. This was pointed out. –- Update From New Post Merge --- @Jabberwok:

Most of her "foreshadowings" are not subtle though. The USJ one for example was pretty much on your face thanks to not being featured in action. The simple fact that Horikoshi made her one of the two non-present students makes her an obvious contender, simply for having a weak alibi by default (like Aoyama, although we know he isn't a traitor because, again, we see him acting later).
A good "Whodunnit" mystery does usually require somebody more suspicious than the rest, but to work as a red herring. If Aoyama is not this, then who is…?
