Am I the crazy one for thinking you should not run in a straight when you are being shot by arrows from only one shooter?
Enjoyable episode.
Danaerys has now full control of her dragon for some reason. Seems a little convenient but wathever… The most important is that she actually listened to Tyrion rather than just go in one of her cocky rampage.
Sansa Bothering John with her remark was annoying since she did not bring anything constructive to John. More men? They shook every tree as far as he know. Not enough men? He commented many times on that. Don't fall for traps? It's vague and doesn't help in a vacuum. If she either talk about the Littlefinger or was there to tell John to stop when he wanted to charge for Rickon, I could understand. But they it was executed she made it seems like John was acting unreasonably when he simply had no other option. Effectively she just made John's night shittier.
I liked the battle. Ramsey found a good way to exploit John's good naivety. They way they mostly shot the battle with John, or that wildling chief(?), or the giant made it much more immersive. Sansa secrecy and letting John go to the butcher paid off since that helps keeps Winterfell vulnerable enough to be taken. But can 3 person on foot really be that good at running after a horse?
Discussion between Tyrion and Theon and the other 2 was intersting. I did not expect Tyrion to bring up being mocked. I thought he simply let it slide by now. The queen is really changing a lot to the way of leaving of those she help. At least I'm happy to see she respects Tyrion's expertise.
Ramsay's death, I find enjoyable. Eaten by his dog is pretty ironic.
Lot of weird choices from chracters and sometimes the show but the battle made the episode worth it.
