You do realize that characters calling out "nin nin" is a thing that happens ALL OVER THE PLACE, right? It's pretty much a cultural thing associated with ninjas that kids just say.
As for getting into SBS, two or three of our members have gotten into tUsopp's art gallery before, and our entire community managed to get a chibi special comic, but I don't think anyone has actually gotten through a question, and foreign questions are exceptionally rare.. (Even Greg living in Japan never got through with any of his submissions until the trivia contest.)
I hate when someone pretends Oda didn't use his own IMAGINATION to create One Piece.
Oda's imagination. Not yours.
And that what Oda experienced in his youth didn't also manipulate his imagination.
No one said that. What has been said is the random show you brought up isn't something Oda has ever once mentioned or shown any evidence of caring about.
If you think Oda has told us ALL of the mangas and animes references he has or will use then we don't see eye to eye.
Of course he hasn't. But there is no reason to believe that he has unless the influence is obvious or he has said otherwise. In this case, you are 100% making shit up.
You are trying to invent evidence (He must have watched this show!)
to back up a theory (Because a ninja says this)
about a character (cat guy)
who isn't even that thing. (he might be someday!)
That's four levels deep of you having to make up stuff completely whole cloth. DOn't you see how absurd that is?
If your theory was
"Hey, I noticed character X looks like a character from this show", and then you provided a picture, sure, that could be a thing.
But going from "a character used nin nin, a thing that happens all the time in the culture!" to "Oda watched this one show in the 70's that inspired him to put in a jaguar man that will eventually become a ninja" is way, way too far a bridge to cross.
Did Oda watch this show? Possible sure. But nothing to base it on except you making shit up.
How the hell did you not learn from the Mysterious Cities of Gold nonsense? This "theory" isn't any better. ANd I put "theory" in quotes, because it's not. It's blind baseless freeform speculation. Theories have some sort of base to build off of.
If you say "Sazae san" or "doremon", major cultural touchstones tat have run for decades, or "Nasicaa" or "Totoro", things that fucking everyone has heard of, grown up on and seen, or if you had a picture of a design or background with some similarity, then there'd be SOMETHING.
But what you have is a fanfic about the author in order to facilitate your fanfic about a character, who doesn't even have the trait you want him to have! How does this thought process work?
