I hope Big Mom ends up being a villain through and through. No crappy alliance with her. I want to see her being all destructive and destroy everything and everyone standing in her way. And she should be taken down by force. No mercy just because she is a woman (I look at you Zoro vs Monet).

I posted in the spoiler thread about this, I think she has to be a villain, from what we've seen, there are no redeeming qualities to her, and she's only be portrayed as a bad person. No way Luffy would choose to be in an alliance with her

Yes! Can't wait for more about Sanji! Wasn't a joke or anything. Now that I think about it, a noble upbrininging would also explain his disrespect for food. Young Sanji might've just had a very good life. Gives weight for his very brief flashback and kind of a more defined brief character arc.

Rather long and likely unpopular opinion (about sanji) here, so i shall summon the almighty spoiler tag.

! Anyways, sanji used to be sort of my favourite strawhat (pre-timeskip). I liked his awesome moments, like mr prince and the sea train thing, and his feed any starving human policy, even though i HATED his white-knighting, and sometimes his pervert side annoyed me, but it was balanced out by those earlier mentioned.
I was also annoyed that he didn't kick kalifa, but it was stated that he CAN'T not DON'T WANT, so i will put aside this part as there might be some deep dark miserable secret behind it, and i don't want to feel bad whining about it if there really is a reason. If there isn't, well…
! Post-timeskip, it seamed like his 'pervert' side was brought out more rather than his 'mr prince' side. I wouldn't talk about the infamous nosebleed thing (it has been talken about quite a lot already).
The thing that truly annoyed me was him molesting himself in nami's body. like he claims to be a defender of fair maidens, beautiful girls, old aunties and yada yada yada, the female population in general, but he is molesting HIS CREWMATE'S body even when she was clearly uncomfortable with it. This was when my respect for him dropped a long way. That is blatant disrespect towards to your fellow crewmate who was adventuring with you since east blue, and you still claim to be a defender.
(For the power level thing, i honestly don't really care about it. Usopp himself has proven many times to be useful and resourceful, so talking about kicking sanji out of the crew because he can't gear 4th is rather ridiculous. A pirate crew isn't all about fighters. It isn't an army. Without him they might starve. He's a cook who happens to be a good figher.)
! Since oda said its the year of sanji, i hope oda can make up for sanji's underperformance since FI, and bring out more of the awesome mr prince cook side of him, and hopefully make me like this character i used to love again or sth. PS: I miss gin so badly

Or they are royals of a KD not affiliated to the WG.

But I guess in the end of the day Sanji will defeat BigMom by giving her the most bitter Sweets in the world. BM hating bitter Sweets now has been mentioned twice, a hint of relevance?

Interesting chapter. Nekomamushi confirmed a monster. Even a supernova is afraid of him and Sanji was also impressed by his presence. This pleases me a lot.

"Luffy is not gonna be someone's underling, he is gonna be the pirate king" - As someone who should aim as high as Luffy as a fellow Worst Generation, Capone must have felt it.
And good this Vito guy is not gonna be just Mafia Guy #6. Since Capone power mostly relies on his underlings, it's good to know they will not all be nameless fodder sharing the same character design.

Not necessarily. Sanji offers a unique position. He's a runaway and a pirate, anything he does (or is forced to do) can be officially disavowed by the family at large while offering a channel into an Emperor's good graces.

Could be. And it could very much be so that Jack or some other Kaido henchmen returns to Zou to wrap up unfinished business and/or bring Sheephead's guys home. From what I remember, they haven't been taken out yet, so it could very well be so that they hurled the monkey of the island. That being said, I strongly believe Raizou is the monkey. Otherwise I see no reason for why he would join the other Samurais on the boat.

I believe Capone simply "put out" tank tracks and is standing on them as they move. Although he can open doors to his inside, so his outside body is also affected by his powers anyway.

I agree with Sgamer82. For what is worth I would also argue that the WG and by extension the royal families tap in the lovely gray scale from pitch black to ultra white. Sanji'spast can be linked to a prominent North Blue family whilst his present embodies the SHC. Even one of the Gorousei could be connected to him… cough cough I am looking at you "blonde and tall man in a fancy suit".

Funny thing is, if Luffy had gotten there a little sooner, this would've been all over with a little King's Haki. So it's all Bart's fault.
(Yes, Sanji has his own story, but Luffy isn't going to yield to the whims of someone he's going to defeat anyway.)

I though that was weird as well, maybe he just "stored" a tank inside him and then stored his legs and put the tank wheels in its place, definetly weird, but awesome.

Sanji is wanted only because of the upcoming wedding. Remember, he didn't have this before meaning before this event he could have died and no one would bother.

So, someone important in the World Government, who heard about the wedding decided that Sanji can only be captured and probably brought in for interrogation. Since it wasn't a normal Marine that did it, it's probably the Gorosei who did this.

It's also strange that to Brook it 'sent a bit of a chill down [his] spine'. Does he know something from the past about Vinsmoke, since his knowledge reflects that of 50 years ago?

I don't know it's interesting to think about that.

I initially took the Only Alive to be implemented because they finally got a good picture of Sanji vs all black or the De m Duval sketch. The Vinsmoke finally had confirmation.

The Vinsmock might be The biggest MAFIOZO familly out there.. like billionaires… Sanji's father = One piece Escobar... Since oda's being inspired by almost all kind of series nowadays... Sanji's a mixture of Jon Snow (G.O.T) / Glenn (T.W.D) scenario and now .. (Narcos)..
Bege knows sanji's past.. he's a mafiozo too.. makes sense.
Maybe the gov wants him alive to trade him with something/someone sanji's father or elder brother owns/hides.
Also, Sanji's family and the revolutionary army could probably be allies in some way..
Just my 2 cents.

Yeah, that was probably foreshadowing how Capone will be taken down. His inner world is where he is at his best offensively, but also where he is exposed the most (after all, everything there is his body). Taking the fight inside seems like a "high risk, high reward" scenario for him.

Both Points are pretty plausible right now and even though Wapol was kicked outta Drum, he got elected to be king again by the WG for his "deeds" in another kingdom, maybe the Vinsmokes were selected by the WG the same way.

Oda's been teasing this guy for years and now he's finally getting some light shone on him. I hope it continues and we see more of his abilites and his crew.

I'm really loving the direction the story's going at the minute.

And anyone who thinks the story isn't following the same style from before the timeskip... come off it, this is clearly going the exact same way Water 7/Enies Lobby went (not that I'm complaining).
