I didn't play it, but this nomination works alone on the fact that the developer allowed such a bad port to come to PC that was basically unplayable for months.

normally I upgrade my computer before five years anyway as well, given advances in hardware.
I think it's a better argument of why get a console when the best version of most games will come out on PC, and on steam where you're likely to get better values.

Because there's no better alternative. Cups don't let me surf the net. If there were a special super indestructible phone, I'd buy that and stick with it till my dying day.
PCs last longer, have better hardware and can be upgraded. Consoles are only around because of stubbornness and corporate shenanigans.

I think positive and negative is just a bad distinction to use there. If we frame joy as the positive emotion, then sadness is its negative compliment, not any of the others. Those just end up being neutral. If you're just using positive and negative to describe what makes you feel good and bad, though, then you're already defining those as 'joy' and 'not joy' respectively.

The little glimpses we get in different people's heads shows that each person has a different 'lead' emotion. The mother has sadness, the father has anger, the popular girl has fear and the pizzamonger has disgust, for an example of each. That's a mechanism for framing people's different personalities, since if everyone had the same balance, they'd all be pretty similar. Imagine the bus driver dominated by joy.

I stand by that criticism. It takes a much more contrived scenario to make losing disgust or anger a big problem.
Losing anger means being dispassionate. Losing disgust means being undiscerning. Those are both pretty big issues.

You say that as f you can buy one pc and have it last forever. You have to update those every couple of years too. Or buy so incredibly high end that you invest thousands of dollars to get the very best tech… which still outdates eventually anyway, can't always run everything, (due to not having a good enough raphics card3d card/ram/sound card/etc), and may be incompatible with random things for reasons you never figure out.
On console, everything for the system is guaranteed to play for the lifespan of the system, and while the tech does eventually become a bit outdated by the end of the system's lifespan, that's generally when developers have best learned how to make it really sing.
I have games on both, I love my steam account, but the idea that PC is automatically better is just silly. Both have their pros and cons. I have games on my PC that I can't play, (even a straightforward 2D platformer like Ori and the Blind Forest can have lag due to all the graphic effects and layers if the PC isn't super high quality) and will have to wait for my next PC upgrade... in four or five years.
