Tom Hiddleston (A.K.A. Loki) wasn't intended to be in the movie, but he was called in to do some scenes during post-production…
I'm very curious. >_>
Perhaps its just a credit scene. Either way, I want to know what happened after Dark World.

Yeah, I have to agree with you there.
I was being sarcastic I don't expect her casting to elicit much controversy over skin color like her role in the A aliyah movie did.
I don't either, but Storm is a very important character to me. I have ridiculously high expectations for anyone who is going to play her, and generally, I see Storm as having darker skin.
Does this make me think Alexandra is going to be a horrible choice? Absolutely not. Will I give Alexandra a chance? Hell yes. But am I going to worry about every little detail put in to adapt to my favorite superhero ever? Unfortunately, very much.
Well at the very least Storm won't be shacking up with Black Panther derailing her character in the process.

Interview with Joss Whedon regarding the upcoming Avengers movie.
I give you your new(most likely an early fire-proof test costume from early in the film? -edit looks like it's the real costume)Human Torch costume for the film.
Wow, they really know his to tease
That better not be the actual costume. Where's the blue with the F4 logo ffs?
Why doesn't the Thing wear pants?
Why is Johnny black? I mean, there was an timeline/universe that it was like that?
BTW the guy in glasses is Victor.
Seeing Kate Mara with blonde hair is surreal. I'm so used to her in both American Horror Story: Murder House and House of Cards. She's such a beautiful red head, that the blonde hair throws me off.

Director Josh Trank is very good friends with that actor playing Johnny. Michael Jordan (the actor) has been in every single one of his movies. Now, he's made him Johnny Storm.
And no, none of the alternate timelines, universes, spin-offs, clones, or any other version of Johnny Storm have been black.
That light makes me think Annihilus is in this
I haven't gotten into Marvel beyond the movies and television so I don't know if this is true or not but is this the first time Iron Man has become the oft-repeated and clichéd evil Superman of the Marvel Universe?
Of course the comic is still developing and I'm not sure if his "true intentions" behind his scheme were revealed yet, or even if there's more to his scheme than what has already been revealed, but the whole story strikes some similar notes.

Some people count Civil War. Though Tony's been doing questionable shit for a good while, the Incursion, Original Sin & Axis storylines just added on top of what was already there.
The Fantastic Four trailer seemed forgettable to me - if not for the logo at the end, I might not have known that was what they were advertising, and there wasn't anything in that trailer that made it stand out.

Ah ok, thanks. I need to start reading Marvel and I think I'lI start with Civil War.
Not sure how i feel about the trailer. It looks like an interresting sci-fi movie, but I was expecting something different. Of course it is only a teaser so I'll wait for full trailer.
If it hadn't been for the logo at the end you wouldn't have known it was an F4 movie. Trying to market it as a general Sci-Fi movie instead of a Comic-Book Superhero movie is an interesting twist, but we shall see how this turns out.
And yes, I'm still rather bewildered at making Johnny Storm black.
That trailer looked like any generic sci-fi trailer from the last decade. I almost forgot this was a FF movie.
@TLC:

Weellll…there are four vertical lines on his upper left chest. >.>
Even if they had just made the costumes blue, kept the design and added a 4 on it I'd find it ok.
Wow, this trailer looks like shit. It doesn't feel like a comic book movie at all. It's like they thought "Hey, what was the biggest sci-fi film released last year? Interstellar? Okay, make a trailer exactly like that, throw in a bunch of pretentious Nolanisms about human ambition, that ought to get people to watch the movie!"

I get it, I just think it's really, really dumb.
Well, at least it isn't shaky cam found footage like they said it was going to be. And much of the behind the scenes horror rumors seem to be missing there.
The trailer tone is all wrong and it looks like they're going more Man of Steel, less GoTG, and that's a shame. But not as bad as it could be I guess.
Or at least the trailer making guy is salvaging it the best he can.
And yes, I'm still rather bewildered at making Johnny Storm black.
They cast the best actor for the job.
IE-the one who was friends with the director and worked well with him and has delivered in the past. He was basically cast without audition the moment Trank got the job as director.
They didn't set out to make Jonny black as a bullet point, and its fine, there is nothing about his character or history that requires a particular ethnicity other than history. Hell, no one complained about Kingpin being black because the actor was awesome in the role.
(And before someone makes the strawman argument about "would you be upset if character X had their race changed", yes, there are a few characters that DO require a specific race because its actually an intrinsic part of the role, like Black Panther or Storm need to be black, Sunfire needs to be Japanese, Omega Red needs to be Russian, Rocky Balboa needs to be Italian, and the entire cast of the Godfather needs to be Sicilian… but the guy from Princess Bride does not, despite the line!) Similarly, Thing needs to be Jewish and have blue eyes.
On the other hand, Mandarin, as they chose to alter and change the character, wasn't really constrained to his past interpretations either.
(While I love the twist, I do still feel they threw away a potentially fantastic character that could have been a regular evil force in the rogue's gallery.)
The only thing it jumbles up at all is that Jonny and Sue are siblings in every other iteration, but if we're not ready for a mixed race family in this day and age then that's just dumb.
Johnny Storm might be black on the outside but when he says "Flame On" and we imitate him and say "Flame On" too, we're all the same color.
Red
Johnny's entire persona starts out as a spoiled skinny rich kid/movie star idol etc. he loves being famous, he's a hot head, a womanizer and throws his money around in peoples face and loves it when he gets super powers cause it's just another thing he can show off and do that no one else can. That being said, that personality type isn't restricted to white people, but it is kind of how you imagine him…. that being said Michael B. Jordan is an awesome actor so I'm looking forward to his performance, just wouldn't have been my first pic is all
too bad we'll never get to see the human torch, spiderman, iceman bromance that bendis did in ultimate comics :(

That's the only real thing that bewilders me. Partly because of the whole "not true to comics" thing, and partly because I feel like he's being thrown in as the token black.
Josh Trank said the two are related by blood.
It's fine if they're blood-related, but it doesn't help if Sue looks as White as a Snow-bunny. But I guess that would annoy people cause then Reed would be dating/married to a black/mixed-raced woman. Because that's what I'm talking about, if they ARE related by blood then Sue needs to look mixed-raced as well. If they're related by adoption then I guess that's fine, but it's a case of "let's throw a black guy in to show how open-minded we are."

Didn't that Mandarin spin-off I never watched actually show that there was an actual Mandarin still out there? Of course, it'd be weird to have another Iron Man movie with him now as the real, real Mandarin, but I thought they could still use him in S.H.I.E.L.D. or somewhere else in the universe.
Yes, there was a short that revealed the real Mandarin is out there and VERY pissed that Troy(?) was impersonating him. Where Marvel will choose to use him is anybody's guess, but he's good fodder to have in the shadows. The question is if they'll use Ben Kingsley again. Probably not, which is a shame, since I was SO looking forward to Ben Kingsley as the real Mandarin.

It also doesn't help that Kingsley did a remarkably good job playing him (both as a the supposed villain and as the goofball he ended up being) which is a real shame. Such a waste of a great talent for a potential reoccuring character. :(
I like Kingsley playing Trevor, to the point I want to see him in more films. But I don't think that's likely. =/

My theory is the actual Mandarin is dead and Killian simply used his name but Mandarin's organization is still alive and now they're going to turn Trevor into the actual Mandarin. It would fit the theme of an actor becoming so into the role, he becomes the character.
I liked the trailer. Looks serious and stylish.
But do people actually like "Fant4stic" type of titles..?
There was Tak3n as well.
Patsy Walker has been cast for A.K.A. Jessica Jones: http://marvel.com/news/tv/24001/rachael_taylor_the_latest_to_join_marvels_aka_jessica_jones
From the descriptiom it seems she's taking over Carol Danvers' role from the original comic.
Great to see Hellcat to be in Jessica Jones.
Goddammit Marvel.
Is that a good god dammit or a bad god dammit?
Did they just… make a teaser trailer... for a teaser trailer...?

No it's a teaser for the teasers teaser.
Teaser-ception, that's what it is.
